Here we have the Upanisads, translated by Patrick Olivelle and published in the Oxford World’s Classics series.
This edition comes with an introduction, a bibliography, notes on the translation, a guide to Sanskrit pronunciation, list of names, a map, explanatory notes and an index.
The book is bound in a glued perfect binding on non-acid free paper. The text size is smaller than medium with the notes being even smaller. The book is printed and bound in the UK.
The Upanishads have been a major curiosity for me for many years and I first encountered them from various teachers of Advaita Vedanta. It was really interesting getting a scholarly introduction to these Vedic texts and I think this edition is a good starting point with a good introduction by Olivelle.
