Upbeat - Drumming 

Upbeat is a sensory, motor and rhythm based music and movement program created by PlayStreet.
In PlayStreet School Program, students participate in Upbeat sessions everyday. Upbeat is offered as Clinical service also.
Here, we are showing one componenet of Upbeat which is drumming. Structured drumming helps children to develop sense of timing to help develop rhythmic movements which are required by cerebellum to enhance motor functions.
Observe in the video:
1) Students are not given any instructions
2) Students are oriented towards the leader and facilitation is through minimal tactile cues
3) Assistance is reduced for students who are ready to be independent
4) Leader is bringing in strategic variations
