As a victim as a child I grew up thinking it was normal and I got told if I said anything I would get picked on because that person already knew I struggled with being bullied so now being a mom I fear that for my kids my kids don’t know they also don’t know the mental behind it I mask it i shower in hot water to where my skin burns I use so much soap because I still as a adult feel dirty my mother down played mine she acted like her rape and being molested was more important than mine and just kept getting doctors to make me take meds and kept locking me up in facilities it started as young as I can remember is 5 it stopped when I was 13 I was already on a bunch of medication for ADHD etc that I think for the most part I was sedated and it was a blur to a lot it then when I was 10 I stopped taking them I pretended I was taking them then that’s when all the thoughts flashbacks came in and it was a overload and I snapped and tried to kill my self many times I can’t even give my boyfriend what he needs sexually he’s 100% understands he doesn’t push me he’s amazing but them thoughts of failing as a woman and as a partner it still creeps in and I never told on that person to where he got arrested same with my old friends dad i was scared and I had no proof and no support so if there is woman like me you are not alone just don’t let them steal your light

Both of my parents worked full time. My mom is a college professor and my dad was in the military. We still had family dinner where we would all sit down and talk about our days and things we learned and what we did. It's just 30-40 mins where we come together and talk. We need this everywhere and I think it would help a lot.

As a single widowed mother of 3…I work my ass off every single day. I don’t know what my children (older now) are watching when I’m not here. Sometimes when I am here. It’s impossible to know exactly what’s going on when you’re not there. Children are exposed way sooner than we as parents know. I hope every single pedo is discovered and put the fuck down!
