Hey Brooks, thanks for the detailed video! The IP Manager is nice, but enabling a public IPv6 and disabling the Public IPv4 of an existing EC2 instance is very hard! Things just don't work as expected. Is this even possible?
Hello! I appreciate your feedback on the video. Managing IP configurations on AWS can indeed be challenging, especially when dealing with IPv6 and IPv4 transitions. It is possible to enable a public IPv6 and disable the public IPv4 of an existing EC2 instance, but the process can be intricate. Ensure that your VPC is configured to support IPv6 and that your subnet has IPv6 addressing enabled. Additionally, review your security group and network ACL settings to allow the necessary traffic for IPv6. If issues persist, consider checking the specific error messages or unexpected behavior you're encountering. AWS forums and documentation can be valuable resources, and reaching out to AWS support may provide additional assistance.
