I worked at an Iron Foundry that made the parts for troy Built tillers, a lot of those castings will have HF on them- Hallstead Foundry, Hallstead ,PA. Actually, we were poring the molds for the gear box, and had a run out, got hot iron over my right foot, lots of skin grafts .
That tire stand ro hold the tire as you patched it was cool. That transplanter was cool as well. So much cool stuff. I couldn't imagine having all that you wouldn't remember what you had let alone every be aboe to get it all working or use it all!
Dave, that's not an auction. That's a freakin smorgasbord! Something for everyone! Hope you make a video of the auction, maybe even a couple of videos of the auction. So much content!
Dave there's a lot of implements there that could fetch a buck or two and catch the eye of the weekend side gig farmer. And Troy Bilts like the ones shown are popular garden tools around my area .So grab all the cash you can grab because there is a summer's worth of resale stuff here.
The Air/Pre Cleaner at 3.03 on the vid is from a 50s Cat D2/D4/D6. We had a used D2 that we bought off a relative with over 15,000 hours back in the day.
I liked where Crazy D remarked about a original engine fror a David Bradley. Im looking for one so I can run the original hood on our david bradley walking tractor,
