Good ! I hope they put some thought into the pedestrian routes . In my opinion any foot paths should kept well away from ALL motorways. Service stations and bus stops should also be branched of the highway Please!! Otherwise these best laid plans will not look good . or work well...traffic stopping randomly this will be followed by the slow build up of this and that. please lets stop living on the motorway , I think we have enough space to have world class infrastructure. Above all for safety sake ❤❤

I think it is a foolish investment to build roads before rail. I Wonder sometimes if the people of the Kenya national highway authority are completely uneducated for doing projects like this. Not only are they building with an outdated mindset similar to American planners in the 1960. Many of their new highways and roads do not even meet the safety standards you have seen in many countries for decades. Unless they want to turn into an asphalt wasteland, filled with crime like South Africa they need to invest in railway systems, more compact traveling like public transportation, and clean, productive modern transportation infrastructure that is planned to minimize negative impacts like noise and pollution and barriers that can be created for locals near the road or railway.
