After playing a bit with my nomad, I finalized to 5.2f 7.8f and today I see your video hahahaha. I am so bored playing with the house though, so I selected AR damage and using m4 deadly, vicious, adept (almost capping chc with pulse) and secondary the bullfrog responsive, unforgiving, so, I am having 2 guns for all situations, starting fight with m4 continuing with bullfrog if I drop to 2 segments. Great video, subed.
Awesome built. Got my 6piece nomad gear as well and my missions are super chill now a days. Im thinkin of goin to the dz on my own with this built. Keep it up. Thanks
I'am new to the game, started playing about 8 days ago but I used to play a lot of Diablo 3 and The Division is pretty much Diablo 3 but it's an FPS, so I managed to get this exact build yesterday with the GE. do you have any common useful tips that noobs might not know, mainly fighting methods for PvP and what to do, cause I see people that I kill coming back for revenge on me doing triple damage? Because I see you playing has a rogue and going crazy until you reach max rogue level, what are the rewards for these? What is the purpose? In your opinion what's the best way to grind classifieds and good exotics on the current state of the meta? Btw great The Division videos you are extremelly under rated for now but I feel that you can get big really fast.
Thank you Figrider, I appreciate that! Well I could give you a ton of tips, but let me answer your immediate questions first. The "triple damage" that your referring to may be the banshee bonus which is a gearset that gives a 20% damage bonus vs rogues if you have been recently killed by them. Rewards for going rank 5 manhunt aren't all that great, you have to clear the manhunt at a terminal then you are rewarded with a few caches; which really are not very good, so manhunts end up being more just for fun than anything! I would say that during this global event it would be great to grind the "lexington event center" mission on challenging then matchmake for a team or bring some friends! If you have some very good players that you can team up with you may be able to grind the "clear sky" mission on heroic which is truly the best way, but is a bit tougher! In the current meta there aren't a lot of great exotics, but id say the better ones are: the house, Barretts vest, skull mc gloves, and ninja bike backpack! Here is a link to a PVP tips video I put out a few weeks ago, it is mostly general information, but I will try to put out a more detailed tips video this week! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dvJvq-B7HY4.html
Your build is almost exactly what my solo build has been for sometime now, except the FA and ST are reversed. My thought process was that I needed more lethality vs. just being able to stay alive longer. What are you finding during gun fights? Are you having to maneuver more to get the kill or do you have decent enough power to put your opponent down?
Well I have played with nomad from 10k FA all the way down to 2900 FA and I find anything between 8-5k FA works the best! At the 5500 FA I don't kill people very quickly, so it does require a lot more movement and strategy to put people down, but It just has such insane survivability that it makes up for it! When I run in groups I jump my FA to just over 6k and I find that has enough DPS to melt people down!
Absolutely 6-6 is great, I had a Nomad build just like that a couple weeks ago, but I wanted a little more toughness in 1.8.3 because of the nerf on popping the box! Either way I think they will work really well!
I know you mentioned using Barrett's Chest Pc with nomad, but what are you thoughts on doing a 5pc Nomad with Savage Gloves for PvP Group Build... with approx 5k-5.5k Firearms and 7k-7.5k stamina... for the extra 7% chrit chance to targets out of cover...
Well It is absolutely a good strategy and a lot of people do that, but I find that it is easier to just use vicious on my weapon and have crit chance gear mods to get me to 60% (max)! Also I would always use 6pc when solo, however, if you're in a group the savage gloves, barretts or vigorous chests would be great! If you do use savage you may be able to use responsive on your weapon instead of vicious or you could switch the crit chance mods for health!
WOW GREAT BUILD ALMOST LIKE MINE....BUT I'M RUNNING WITH 6 PIECES WITH HEALTH AND HEALTH ON KILL ON 3 OF MY GEARS...WITH 6K FIREARMS AND 6K STAMINA....AND I DID 30 KILLS JUST PLAYING ONLY 14 HOURS.....BEST BUILD AT THE MOMENT AND ALSO FOR PVE SOLO....WITH 4% DAMAGE TO ELITE FOR THE PROTOTYPE MODS...DANIEL
I'd rather have higher Firearms to kill faster and avoif prolonged fights. For similar reasons I'm really partial to Stability and Reload speed over health and crit ( from back and holster). Maybe I'm wrong but 22% reload feels way more powerful than 4 CHC for overall dps.
Thank you Lenti! I got them by finishing all the mark 1 clothing collections, it is the spaceman outfit with a black skull cap and the jungle mask! The jungle mask is from a challenge in one of the GEs and Im not sure how I got the skull cap though!
Am I missing something here??? You get the over heal even with the 5 piece nomad so why the hell would you run with Vigorous chest piece lol? Before you even say it's to grant me an over heal durning combat it's still not gonna be viable when taking damage... Barretts would be the better option.
lol I can't control who is in my server man, but I have used this against many good players and it does a fine job! watch the gameplay at the start of this video link (I use this build against a bunch of "PVPers"): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Kf7L-FvCkuA.html It isn't all about nomad, but the first couple minutes I use this build!
That's cool man, if you're comfortable with that then more power to you! I like having a little more toughness because with low toughness I feel like all it takes is a grenade to put me off balance then an army of people shoot me while i'm staggered and I go down! I'd rather be more of a tank and just out maneuver people!
lol I can't control who is on my server man, but I have used this a bunch and it works on all skill levels of players (providing the user is capable)! I have footage of this build in a lot of my recent videos and future videos should feature it as well, it may have low FA but it gives you the stamina to outplay and face a lot more people! Give it a try, and maybe you'll like it, but if you're more of a DPS player try Banshee, Lonestar, or a predshee hybrid!
