Agreed. Like I said in my unboxing video, for the price they asked, these features should've been available right out of the box.

Mono mode was always available. Confirm with adjusting single channel content and removing an earbud or adjusting balance on device.

So you really can’t win? if you don’t have a feature when the product comes out, you’re awful, if you later add it, you’re still awful ? so whatever… I agree the product was lacking in this feature when it came out and therefore you might not want to buy it, but it’s great that they added it. I’m pretty happy.

biggest complaint was the call quality and the hiss noise in transparency. I really wish they added multi point however not a big deal. I wish I can open up my Bose and put them on connecting automatically without having to manually connect it ever time which is annoying. I appreciate how fast my AirPods can connect to any apple device however even the orginal Bose qc earbuds 1 would connect flawlessly without pressing anything, please let me know if you constantly have to manually connect every time you put them on?

@Dana Frost No one said the earbuds were awful at the time of the release. I said, for the price they're asking for in these times, just having great ANC isn't enough. Especially when you have other products that have good to great ANC and still offer the other lifestyle features for the same price or cheaper. I'm glad Bose finally dropped this update. Now I can use them at work instead of leaving them in my bag or at home.

I listened to a couple of books with Audible and didn't experience any issues. Are you still experiencing that?

The latest updated improved their sound, IMO. You should be happy with the sound for those genres.

The call quality is average to below average, IMO.

I don't think that's on their roadmap, they specifically mentioned on their web multiple point will reduce the stability of the connection that's why they did not do it(although a lot of other earbuds have that lol). The next big update should be about aptx adaptive
