UPDATE | Bose Ultra Open Earbuds 4.0.22 Firmware Update 

My QC Ultras just updated.

The updates for these drive me around the bend, mine constantly get to 50% ish and then say another device is transferring the update (no other device is connected!)

Multipoint on the ultras dropped today in the UK. Issues trying to update. Transferring update keeps disconnecting from the phone after every 2 - 5 percent of transfer. If it was not for the noise cancelling, I would not buy bose products as they are so janky. I also have the ultra headphones and the zip on the case is terrible. I think I'm done with this company going forward.

Has microphone quality been improved at all in this new version?

I hope they give the multi-point update to the QC2 as well.

I’m hearing some people on Reddit say that this update has also improved the call quality in some situations.

Have they fixed most of the major issues of the qc ultra by upadting the firmware?

I’m having a problem with one earbud (left side) dropping out on a call . Never did that before now only the right earbud works if i get a call on the other connected phone

Do you have any audio delay while using the open earbuds? I noticed you're using an android I've bought the opens 2x, refunded once because the 1-2s delay was annoying for its price range. Ive tested it with 2 separate android os and 1 iPhone and noticed my issue isn't present on ios. I want to know because i need to know if i bought 2 defective products in a row Ty

Did you notice any improvements on the mic with the firmware update? Or still sounds like you’re living underwater with a helmet on? 😂

Does anyone knows how to force update? Update was downloaded but then the notification disappeared and now the app just shows the old version
