I like some glass. The glass has to be maintained, though. There is a building in Bedford with mirrored glass. Some of it isn't in good shape. It makes the building look bad.
Wow Glad I left Halifax when I did in 2018. So glad I moved to Montreal that has a highway to the downtown core. Which I work center city everyday. Halifax and NS has always been so backwards. Build a brand new convention center but then destroy all chances of a highway to the core. Not great for big trucks to get to a convention center. NS wants more ppl downtown to shop then destorys the quick way to get there. They wanted more tourists downtown for the tall ships when they come in. Solution destroy all the parking lots downtown and build big buildings. I used to live in Joesph howe area. It was a nice small community now its look more like huntario street in mississauga.
It wasn't getting the traffic it was designed to handle, and it was in rough shape. I drove over it a lot and it was hard on vehicles. I sat on it many times trying to get onto Barrington Street. There is a roundablout being built by the base. That will help with traffic. I don't feel it will get much better but will not be worse. No parking lots wore removed for this for this project. Well the base lost some parking for the roundabout but that sections hasn't been full in a long time. As far as the buildings go, we need more hosing.
