Oh trust me I was trying reallyyyyyy hard not to think about it on my trip 😅. As soon as I got back home, I immediately got to work so I could have peace of mind again haha
So what was the issue when your car was blowing smoke and sounded like only 4 cylinders firing? Because I changed my o2 sensors and I’m catless and bank one not firing on my car still. I get codes 2B36 and 2796H/10134
My code says 02 sensor behind catalytic converter so i’m assuming that was causing some of my issues. I’m gonna buy a new one and see if that completely resolves everything on my car. I don’t have any misfiring codes like your car is saying, maybe you need a new set of spark plugs and maybe some coils too…. That would be my guess…
@@AutomotiveTherapy The thing is it sounded like your car in the video happened randomly, I changed spark plugs coil packs injectors and all o2 sensors.
You should open that actuator and take a look. If those gears were replaced and it was binding like that, either the gears broke or they didnt replace them correctly (you have to glue and sometimes pin them in place), it wouldnt be electronic failure causing that binding. For your Turner cat-back, is it the stainless or Ti version? I dont think you mentioned in your other video Good job on replacing the TA!
Hey! I actually cracked open the OEM actuator and it had new gears in it. Everything looked great with them but what actually broke was the spring inside the actuator! It was really deformed and messed up causing the gears to not rotate properly. I’ll share a picture of the broken spring in my next video. And I have the stainless steel version from turner, I love the way it looks and sounds, highly recommend!

@@AutomotiveTherapy Interesting find! that spring is beefy so surprised to see that as the failure. For the exhaust, its between the Valvetronic and the Turner SS I think - I like the price of the Turner :)
