Great job so far. Keep up the great work. I have used Vaseline with black gray paint mixed in with it to make the grease for the fifth wheel hitch. Oh and a little goes a long way.
Nice update, she is coming along beautifully..some great detailing, liking the wheel/tire treatment, and the yellow looks fantastic, not an easy feat...great tip on the Tulip stuff, never tried it but any seam fill that you can smooth with water is a bonus, cause I hate sanding...lol....95 in the shade, huh, early May....maybe you could fry an egg plane for us in your yard, a little demonstration...LoL
Lol!! Thanks Tommy,, very much appreciated!! I know a guy the backed cookies in his car a couple summers ago. An egg plane fried on the side walk would be funny.
Everything is looking great Bryan. I like the engine the way it is. I wish I had a local mom and pop shop to support, they went the way of blockbuster video lol. Stay safe and keep having fun buddy. Papadan
Weathering looks good, don't mind the engine being a little dirtier. It's shaping up nicely. Hope the hobby stores open soon up here too, you can keep that heat tho'. lol.
On the fithwheel you can use artist oil paints in the tube hunter Selby at Showtime studios used on his the oil paints take a little longer to dry but produce a realistic look to the fith wheel check out his RU-vid channel
Nice update. No yellow paint no problem. Just put mustard & a little future together. Not ! 95° no thanks. I just mowed my grass for the 1st time since last year. In Michigan 🏭🐭
For fifth wheel grease, try a little contour/fill putty ,be Tamiya or Testors, smear some onto the fifth wheel and mix a little gloss black with a touch of dark red paint, and paint it. That way you got the look without having wet grease on your model to collect dust, plus get on you every time you touch the truck.
@@BGsModelWorkshop yeah I posted that as you were explaining the tulip paint. I'm familiar with that stuff, have three way younger sisters. Never thought to use it like you described. Might have to try that. Thanks for responding. Stay healthy
@@THROTTLEPOWER much smaller. He splits his store between R/C stuff, games and models. But the guy is super cool and can order anything I want as long as it is current.
Oh I'm not using real grease. That is Dylan over at N.Y.S. I hesitate to use real grease on plastic models. Some grease and oils can eat the paint, or worse soften the plastic.
