one of my pet peeves in life are women who do shit like this, knowing that obviously they are women, and a guy really can't do anything about it, like punching her in the face like she deserves. Had "she" been a dude, she wouldn't have the balls to throw someone's fishing gear in a lake, and risk an ass kicking. She only does it knowing full well she can hide behind her status as a female. I'm not sure she is an ICU nurse, the statement said "As a family of ICU nurses". Sounds like to me, and I could be wrong, she is using her close proximity to a nurse as her defense. I am a nurse and offended to think she is in the tribe.
This person works in healthcare, how has she not been asked to leave, or better yet told to leave. If she can't get along with its co-workers, how well does it handle working with all the people who look towards her for help dealing with their daily problems? I would not want to be a patient if she was on duty.

@@patfranks785 I never said that there would be consequences like a physical altercation. People who fish are mostly peaceful people. No one has to bash an old lady to make a point. We pity the people who don't get it. It's like great art. You either get it or you don't.
Fishing is one of those hobbies where we might all give each other a hard time (bait anglers, fly fishermen, trophy hunters, etc),. At the end of the day though most of us don't care where someone is from or what they look like. We all rally together and watch out for each other when it comes to the dirt bags or scoundrels.
I was fishing off a dock in Upper Michigan. An older lady confronted me about catching fish on a " PUBLIC dock ". She kept on hassling me and I paid her no attention. Her tirade got worse and she started swearing like a drunk truck driver. I noticed she had a very nice Nikon around her neck, it was a beautiful D600 with a 70 x 200 lense on it. While she cussing me out, she stepped toward the edge of the dock and fell in. I did help her out of the water and was seriously lmao. Not only did she ruin her camera, she got herself arrested for bitching at the cop and interfering with my fishing. I did end up with 3 nice walleyes and one huge pike.

SAME!!! I fly internationally often and I have never been kicked off of a plane, nor have I witnessed this on any of my many, many flights. I hope I never do, either! :)
I fly often, and airlines and the attitude of airline workers towards passengers has drastically changed. Now they see it as doing the passengers a favor and will use a "mask issue" as threats.
@@Fiona2254 incorrect. I was just on a flight where a nice family was removed because their 3 year old was pulling her mask down. The little girl eventually put it up and kept it there but the flight attendant had them removed after a single, very short and rude warning.
The problem with showing number plates is that the vehicle might be sold and a person seen driving it may be the subject of hate despite having nothing to do with the incident.
@@grahvis if it's sold, it should have new plates after being registered by the new owner. When I sell my vehicles, i take the plates off in case they do something stupid
@@Npouliot . It isn't that simple in the UK, the number goes with the vehicle. Even if you buy and assign a private number plate, the original goes back on if you want to re-assign that private NP, on to another vehicle.
I was on a binge-Karen video spree and found this, BUT, I've been looking for a good "fishing" channel for quite a while. I got to see the Karen incident, and now get to watch fishing. Thanks AR (I'm a 54 year old guy in Alaska in a wheelchair, and fish, hunt, hike, camp, travel all vicariously through youtubers)!

First, I can't believe Karen 1 ditched the mans' rig into the water! I flipped when I saw her do that. So she and her poor choice of a friend, Karen 2 aka tan karen get whats coming. I hope that Judge gets on the stick & takes care of this case. I'm glad you got the video. She might have to pay to replace it, as she should! As to tan Karen on the plane - unfortunately if she's behaving like that around her three kids, she is modeling a behavior they might take on. At the end of this video we see her arguing w/ the airline cos she had to be a dick and not follow the mask rules. Everybody else was complying but there she was being an ass, throwin up all kinds of BS excuses & threats. The poor kids see their mother like that. It is embarrassing for the children. Not to mention she may be putting three mini-mes out into the world if they take her path. Looks like tan karen is one of those rule-breakers who wanna go by their own rules while everyone else is complying with company airline police. As the flight attendant said, "We see this all the time." We have seen it all these last 3.5 years. People flaunting the mask-wearing guidelines: they lie about it slipping, it doesn't fit right, it's broken/defective, my kid is autistic, we have lung issues, blah, blah, blah. Just follow the rules! You're on a confined, small space w/ recirculating air. Yeah it sucks to wear them. We're all sometimes irritated. We feel like we're suffocating. We want it all over. But a business has company policy we either abide by OR don't frequent the business! Simple as that. Maybe you shouldn't fly if you can't keep yours & your kids mouth & nose covered while on board, lady. Put the damn mask on and don't be a douche! There are millions of high risk 'neighbors' out there with cancer, lupus, MS and other health issues where they are likely to die if hit with Covid! And healthy people can't risk carrying covid back into an elderly, at-risk parent or friend. What is so hard to understand about that??!!! Man! What has happened to shared respect, civility and common basic decency?
Reel and rod costs are different. People don’t seem to get that good ones are sold separately. I know I’ve dropped $200-$400 on some good reels and thrown them on an Ugly Stix.
A good shinano reel is like 300 bucks alone. Then you add a good rod which can run another 300-350. So 400 for the combo is relatively middle of the road when it comes to fishing poles and reel.

Love the thorough update! As for Tan Karen and the masks, I work 12 hour shifts at an urgent care and talk to patients all day long, but my mask doesn't fall down my face revealing my nose. She's full of it.
In the UK, there's this small float/balloon that can be attached to a person when they are wild swimming in lakes, rivers, broads, sea etc. I think fishermen need this to attach to their fishing poles, just in case a Karen comes by and decides to throw it in the water.....
I can sympathize with boaters getting frustrated by the way that some fisherman don’t get out of the way at boat landings and piers, but this was not at all such a situation. This woman was clearly just acting entitled and arrogant.

I have a friend that is paralyzed and he always uses a drone to release his hook further out onto the lake. It's easier then all the work it causes him if he takes the kayak out each time. He can't just stay in the kayak because he has gotten hospital level burns because he did not feel the heat
Actually, the US supreme court ruled earlier this year, that drone use as well as general photography for utube use is perfectly acceptable within the national park system...

Only by special permit which includes scientific and search and rescue. Unless the park has a designated area, for all intents and purposes, you can't. BUT, the park does and can for "administrative purposes ".
She thinks She is special because of her career. And imo she doesn't need a plane to fly. 👂But tbh nurses do a lot of good work. My hubby was in the hospital a long time because of COVID. When I had to drop him off at the ER I was so scared and they wouldn't let me be with him. We were both crying because I didn't know if he was going to make it. He couldn't breath and was in so much pain. He said he gave up and just wanted to let go. But because I was nothing there to talk him through it to keep him going he was refusing treatment to help him. Until an angel came through and convinced my husband to survive and accept treatment so he could make it through. I will ALWAYS be grateful for that nurse at the Providence Hospital in Novi Michigan. And he never got her name

SO this is what I take home from this; Everyone knows that 'A bad day fishing is better than a good day working' right? BUT... Apparently a good day seeing a Karen getting arrested will get you MANY more views than a bad day fishing. :D
She has some influence either because of a personal connection or because of her position in society, but the judge is letting it sit there until the statute of limitations runs out and it simply goes away. It would be unpopular for a judge or prosecutor to deal properly with this because of her position and probable connections . That’s how they deal with this kind of situation. The only way around it is if there is enough outside pressure to force them to pursue it and do their job. Otherwise it just won’t happen

Feel sorry for the husband of Tan Karen. He must have to deal with her confrontations weekly, if not daily. Tan Karen needs a psychiatrist or an anger management intervention.
