Very nice. I did see a modern 80s replica boom box. Love the TV. Now just need a few true 80 electronics. VCR, telephone, walk man, etc.. Very cool room indeed 🙂
Wow cool 80s room! If I had an extra room I would dedicate it to the 80’s and 90’s to go back in time and feel the nostalgia. Very interesting and creative
Tapeheads is one of my all time favorite movies, too! Never thought anyone else ever knew it! I have the movie poster, a promo VHS tape featuring Mike Nesmith (who produced it), a button, the soundtrack on CD and vinyl, and dvds of it! I saw it in a theater with the director present back in 1988, and subsequently saw it 10 more times in the theater over the next few months!
I m currently trying to replace all the He Man stuff I once had. To my horror, I find its worth more now than new in the 80s!!! Damn it.!! I can allow for anybody who was a true 80s kid to collect this stuff, but if you weren't sentient in the 80s, get out of my decade! You re making my nostalgia unaffordable.
@@James-o2u9x I was there and I have a lot of my originals as you see, but I am really loving what a lot of these companies are doing and I’ll take a 10 dollar re pro over paying 45/100 bucks for one figure I had in 1984 any day. This is the old room tour as well. I’ve added a bunch more stuff from my re collection and found a bunch more of my old 80s toys so I just shot a new room tour that will be going up by the end of next week! Thanks for watching. I just turned 47 and I don’t see myself ever stopping trying to re collect all that I had.
Awesome room, dude! 🥰 I still have a lot of my toys left over from the 80's and 90's. I'm most proud of the fact that I never got rid of any of my Masters of the Universe figures. Love the room and the posters in it. 😍V was indeed awesome and so was ALF. 😎
VERY nice setup, especially with the movie posters (Back to the Future, Ghostbusters and TMNT!) and action figures. I have the animated Doc and Marty. So cool! And I LOVE that message on the Parker Lewis poster! 😎♥️✌🏾
Thanks for this fantastic tour. You really got some juicy goodies. Those Motu magazine's though.....Jaw drops and drool begins. My Motu collection is like yours. A mixture of Vintage and Origins. Also got Masterverse too. Don't Sleep 😴 on the newer Masterverse stuff...The new Two-bad, Hordak and Man-e-faces are the best yet. Agree man V rocks. Not enough merchandise out there. Me and my older brother would watch V every week when it was on. Good ole days!!! My brother even had the whole comic run. Now quite rare and tough to find. Saw these very cool ALF mini figures at Target today. They looked like the Toony Terrors series...but all ALF. Dude I need some Mummra figures in my collection. Had a ton of Mask when I was younger. Hurricane was my favorite. Sectaurs and Toxic Crusaders.....I got a bunch of too. Juicy stuff!!!
Awesome tour dude thanks for sharing you have so much cool stuff great theme 80's mines 80' & 90's hardcore action & horror theme I got a bunch of stuff but still need much more
Man I wish I had all my stuff from the 80s back lost it all back in 08 you have an excellent collection makes me miss my alf and he-man for sure I had a lot of the stuff if everyone only knew then
Thanks man! I do a few other room tours on my channel as well! This one is of my horror/movie room ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UvoNuj2xBQk.htmlsi=UZnEM-qIiQzKf728
The focus of my collection is either something I had or something I wanted and never had. I don't hardly have anything from my childhood I was able to keep
I don’t just yet. There will be one for sure. I have my movie room and sci fi/fantasy room tours on here as well. All need an update. Thanks for checking out the channel. It’s a wide variety of geekiness I love and talk about here. Hope you investigate
@WarlockHVN very nice, I'll be sure to check them out. I was born in 1970, so I grew up in the 80s. It really is the best decade, but I love the 90s, too. I have an 80s room, but nothing as grand as yours and it's only on Facebook (old school social media) 😆 I have a lot of 80s memorabilia but I'm obsessed with The Walking Dead 🧟♀️ 🧟♂️ so I have some of that as well. It's hard to put everything I love all in one room.
P.S my hubby is a geek as well. I say that with total respect. He's been playing D&D since he was 12. He's 59 now and still goes to D&D Cons twice a year. He loves Babylon 5, Dr Who, Anime etc...his man cave has all his figures and D&D stuff. It's a lot of fun...
i remember the bill and ted cartoon as well as the movies, if they ever invent a real hoverboard i may be too old to ride one, he man and the thundercats were 2 of my favorite cartoons, you have an impressive collection bro
@@Cam-zv1jq nice so you’re only one year behind me and know the good shit! There new room tours up on my channel, updated and what not if you want to check those out! Thanks for watching!
I love this room. Would it be possible to do a watchalong of this video with my subs? You have so many cool things and I would love to discuss them online. Of course I will shout out your channel, if I get your permission.
Hey Man, Really nice job with the room! Question, how big is this room? I'm thinking of doing the same thing with a 12x9 room in the house, and I'm trying to get an idea of what I'll be able to fit. Also, I want to have everything in the room be original 80's stuff, where do you get your stuff? Ebay, thrift....? Thanks!
Thanks for watching! I'm actually not sure what the final dimensions are. I'll check it out and get back to you. It's not the biggest room and I keep trying to find more space to fit more things. I also have a theater room with most of my horror stuff, a sci fi room as well and Star wars room which is also on the channel. As for the Toys, Some of the stuff is mine from when I was growing up in the 80s, some are from Ebay, Etsy and Conventions.
Nice collection, i do the same i only collect items i like that are nostalgic or appealing to me, i dont need to own the entire line. Good mix of everything in that room
My 80's room would be filled with 8 and 16 bit Computers and Audio and AV gear and audio and video tapes Betamax and Vhs CED and Laserdisc and Vinyl records from then. video cameras especially the Vidicon tube types and the last gasp of Super 8 film. (Not much toys because i'm a filthy 90s early 2000s kid lol)
I'm the same with the V stuff. I really wish Super7 would try and recreate that 3.75" line that was designed but never released. I settled on snagging the exposed-face Trooper and a Diana pop to go along with my vintage doll. I have one of those patches too :p
