Paint job on the top of the range is worth going for - looks and weight saving bits in the long term. Great bike if you love taking the scenic route to the office.

XDiavel dark, stealth streetfighter, Honda CB1000R black edition, Scrambler 1100 dark, Indian dark horse, new black Africa Twin... Seems black bikes are what's trending nowadays. Not gonna lie, they look cool imo.
I did some sub contracting work for Ducati in 2018 and had an XDiavel to ride for several months. I was surprised by its handling and acceleration for the type of bike it is...especially handling. I'm not really a "cruiser" type of guy, but if I were to have one it'd be an XDiavel. Its 100X the bike a comparable Harley and looks fire as well.
I purchased 2021 XDiavel Black Star love the performance and handling . Bike sounded ok stock, but with my new XDiavel Complete Racing Exhaust it sounds awesome now. Wasn't cheap but it's well worth the money.
It looks so complicated. Need deep deep pockets i think. Theres nothing i would risk trying to do myself on that machine. So compact. But you cannot dispute how capable it is
I had a 2011 Diavel . For me it was the nicest looking bike I have ever owned, and the best feeling a bike gave me. Loved it. But omg it was so problematic. I eventually just sold it. I am not keen on the Diavel X but the normal new Diavel is just stunning. Don't think I would risk another Ducati though. Once bitten twice shy and all that.
@@possumkeys intermittent codes. Misfiring. Gear selector spring broke, overheating. Detonated and split the exhaust away from the headers. Etc etc etc.

I have a 2011 Diavel with 60K kms. Regular maintenance done and regular Desmo, new chain 30K kms, that’s all. Cannot complaint, for me it’s a trouble free motorcycle. I even went through Death Valley, California and reached 50°C onboard thermometer and 114°C engine oil temperature and no overheating. Voilà!
Have they sorted out all the issues that the previous X Diageo’s had like the rear brake? I hear the various issues have made this a nightmare bike to own
I prefer a splash of colour, so favour the Dark Star derivative but Ducati have certainly managed to pull a rabbit out the hat by upping the hp & torque figures for EU5 (the bluetooth gumph is just a danger on a fast sporty bike)... but they're all extremely expensive and I think are best suited to PCP deals. It's getting really old, with almost all the manufacturers producing a "Dark" version in their line up, but I guess somebody must be buying them. (Even if HD and Ducati have been doing it for years)! TFC Ducati? That Blackstar livery looks like a Triumph I like the Dark myself as I prefer simplicity over tech on a bike. And I REALLY don’t take calls or even acknowledge them when I’m riding. It detracts from the ThAIRapeutic benefits of riding.
I really can’t reconcile the price difference of £4300 between the Dark and the Black Star. Better brakes, lighter wheels Bluetooth and a paint job do not add up to £4300👎
Well, the perfect scenario is to go and buy regular base Black, then wait for your richer neighbor to see that and buy himself the xd-S Black star model. Then one night you go and swap out the wheels on both bikes - he won't mind since he is just a competitive bonehead without any knowledge, so he will not notice the change. Next, you go to a local car wrap shop and get it wrapped to look identical to Black star for a few 100 EUR - and voila - you got yourself a perfect Xdiavel for the money ;)
I just watched the premier too, but hated the references the factory used describing these new models. MotoBob definitely repeated the specs, pricing and changes made to these new models. He can’t produce alternate realities! It’s his presentation style, editing and narration that his subscribers like!
Take a random collection of pipes and body wares cut at acute angles. Paint them flat gray-black primer. Then close your eyes and toss the whole shebang over your shoulder and whatever form they take, that's how you join them. Voila! The insectoid Diavel, one butt-ugly bike. At least it has a great engine.
V2 instead of V4 😴 Desmo instead of modern technology 😫 A wanna be cruiser that can't handle less than 3000 rpm. No maintenance free shaft drive. Midrange power. A seat that glues you in one only position to the bike. Why should anyone get this bike?
You’ve built a channel off plagiarism. Narrating over OEM stock footage is a waste of a life, if not lazy...and in all other media genres, grounds for termination and lawsuits.
