Ayato is actually so fun to play I love him :D also regarding Ayaka + Ayato: while it isn't optimal, it can be a viable option. Most of what I said about Ganyu/Venti/Ayato (Freeze Teams) can be applied to Ayaka too.
As someone who mains Ayato let's not forget the best part. That fact that he either judges you or sounds like a parent complimenting a childs drawing every time you open a chest. "Oh..... you...... collect these?!" "Ahhh, yes... very nice."
I have all the 5 star hydro except for Yelan, so i don’t use him a lot, regretably. But, he does a lot of things above average, and not being mid, so it is appealing for people that don’t have a 5 star hydro yet. Personally, 2 hydro is generally enough (that being xinqiu and a single 5 star hydro), Ayato advantage is that he have better horizontal coverage than Kokomi and Childe.
I just got him at 8 pulls after getting Furina at 15 pulls... How lucky lmao. Now I'm here because I don't know how the heck am I supposed to build him

Siempre que veo otras builds en Español sueño venir al vídeo correspondiente del personaje en tu canal a ver si tú recomiendas lo mismo o a ver si crees que sea conveniente. im an ayato main since ar 6 and im currently ar 35 now. since then, ayato has been such a big help in bosses, and in quests. hes still lvl 40 though, since im still at liyue archon quest.
I think harbinger of dawn is really really underrated on teams with a solid shield. It gives both cr and CD and if you're lacking that in artifacts that's just great. Edit: It looks pretty good on him too
Also try hyper carry ayato. - Ayato, kazuha, yunjin bennet. And even at C0 my boi does big numbers consistently 😊. But i got bored with it so now I'm gonna try the new dendro team comps since I have nahida. Thanks for this zyox!
his vape team is still really good, it's just that xiangling will vape a bit less bc ayato has a longer ICD. childe applies hydro too fast so he wont steal vapes from xiangling. but they are not as different as people say.
Currently my Ayato is at C2, n still digging the primos to C3 him.. I found his DMG is the best at C3 which ~100% dmg increase compare to C0.. while C6 is just bonus to do nuke (for dmg per screenshoot).. I dont plan to pull in next banner(according to leaks), the wise reason is: 1. Alhaitham is dendro keqing 2. Xiao... No comment 3. Keep in mind Yelan = Xingqiu with just more offense oriented less defense version.. 4. n Hu Tao CA build is infact mid without Staff of Homa, C1, Xingqiu n Shielder aka Zhongli, ntm HuTao CA build is restricted to XQ n Zhongli comps.. My C2 R1 Jade Ayato is already doing 44-50K in hypercarry, also doing ~30K slashes n consistent 60-80K of vape every third slash in Burgeon/burning team.. But if i get enough primo, ill go for Hutao C1/Homa..
Ayato was my number Character until Cyno came out. I know before ppl give me flack it was Tighnari until Nahida came out lol. Yes it's lame I needed Nahida in order to get my Cyno legit but I have him on thundering fury at 80 crit rate, 202 crit dmg with 205 em. So he's almost perfect in my opinion. But I lvled up my kuki td; I'm farming artifacts for her so Ayato will become number one again with the team Ayato, Kuki, Nahida and Kazuah. Kazuah can be replaced by whoever honestly.
i play him in my "cast on hit" team with Raiden, Albeido and Jeane (C4 for the att spd buff) and he is a monster that crits for 20 k each hit with the procs. The sad reality is however that this team is more of a "Fun" variant for dungeons and not viable for abbys in most cases since it lacks a Shielder (tho the heal from jeane is enough to not make it too glass canonly)

Zy0x is definitely one of the content creators of all time. His guides are one of the ones I've seen. These clips are the part of my year. Without his videos, my day feels like a day. He's the most person I've ever met. His Xiao artifacts are one of the character builds I've ever seen. Undoubtedly one of the streamers in 2022.

Ayato is definitely one of my best pull if not my best. His flexibility is INSANEEE! And it’s just the ease of use. So easy to use, No too much stress. His burst makes him a great support. Just love him. He is just chill but some how always on my team and his such a cute man 🥰
I'm really trying to decide who to pull between him and Al Haitham😭 Ayato is super flexible and I have better team comps for him, where as Al Haitham would be a great addition to finally have a proper dendro character (only DMC and Collei rn). Plus Yaoyao would be on Al Haitham's banner.
@@justinemcintosh7441 honestly just pull who u like more then. ayato has hydro to his advantage, is very easy to use and can dish out a lot of dmg everywhere. Alhaitham will probably be more difficult to use but seems like he will be a strong damage dealer.
Ayato was my first limited 5-star character when he originally came out, for a new player who didn't understand what they were doing, Ayato has been such a huge help. Just threw him with anything and still, he would carry the team comfortably.
@Lee. Chen Atk will still be better on Ayato but as Zy0x said, if you got HP on your artis it's ok too!! The only HP scaling in his kit is the double he creates from his E which explodes at the end, dealing dmg based on his HP. Hope it helps!!
Mono-hydro will always be my favourite team for boss-beating. Ayato, Xingqiu, and Yelan, all have great enemy tracking. Especially good against mobile bosses like the Ruin Serpent. Add Kazuha for extra damage and cc or Zhongli for ignoring damage. I'm also just a hydro main who has put way too much effort into Ayato and Xingqiu
Hi, can I ask you something? Alhaitham's signature weapon isn't mentioned here. Was it not out yet when the video came out? Or is it not a good option for Ayato?
i love ayato as much as i love zy0nix and as much as i love ayato's voice lines that consists of "HUH HYA AAUGH HUH HUHA HA HYU HA HUO KAMISATO ART SIUUUUUU"
Bennett would be better than Zhongli in a team like this since ayato has high interruption resistance anyway. But as Zajef said, hyper ayato isn’t great anyway, like his soup, tazer and hyperbloom teams are much better
@@simonditomasso9868 Why would I care if someone else says that hyper Ayato isn't great, it clear the abyss easily enough anyway so it doesn't matter, besides I would rather use Bennett on a different team (or not use him at all since I rarely ever do and have no problem in the abyss) then have two buffers for Ayato since my ayato team is already dealing around 46K per slash (18 times with Yunjins c6) which is enough to clear the abyss with ease. I have used this Ayato team in every single abyss cycle since getting him and it works perfectly with plenty of time to spare.
My Yunjin has only 1700def so far but I run the same team and get arround 20-26k per Slashes. Could u share ur build ? i wanna try and get 40k per Slashes too.
@@fakenamesam7453 My Yunjin has over 2,600 def (got some good defense rolls) normally but the husk set triple def main stats gives her more def when off field this is the biggest difference, she uses fav lance to battery ayato to get his burst back and zhongli also uses fav lance for battery too. I do have jade cutter on Ayato but I am f2p (the only 2 weapons are wished for were Jade cutter and Homa). My friend has an Ayato with blackcliff and can still get near 40K when i use my Yunjin to help buff in co op, he has Yunjin but has not invested as much in her. Plus Kazuha with VV and even zhongli shield shred plus tenacity set also helps plus this is when Ayato has his burst up because it also gives NA damage bonus, his numbers are a little lower but still great without his burst. I use HOD set on Ayato, I have been farming it forever since it also comes with the blizz set. I have 73% CR and around 230CD (I can't remember exactly the number since I can't check right now.) I have tried noblesse on Yunjin but her defense can't get as high and I have found husk has been better but I can only speak from my own experience.
I remember when people said about Jean that she was a Jack of all trades master of none as a dis towards her and then the fact that she was good in so many areas made her one of the best characters to pull on the standard banner. I think Ayato is in a similar boat. He's good in so many teams, but not the best option in them. However this versatility makes him super valuable, because instead of having to pull and also importantly build multiple other characters for different purposes you can just optimize him. That combined with the fact that he's super easy to build with 4* weapons and multiple viable artifact sets (personally I use HoD, because I've farmed the cryo set a lot for other chars) and the fact that his kit is fully viable at C0 makes him an awesome unit imo.
Hi! I hope you see this reply to your comment. I want Ayato, but I can only give him HoD and this is making me doubt pulling for him. Does he still perform well with it even though it's a 3* weapon?
@@bambina9533 Personally I think it will be easier to get a better sword after getting Ayato, than it will be to get Ayato after acquiring a better sword. They give out event weapons a lot and you could always get random 4* weapons anywhere you pull. Plus, HoD seems like it would be fine, as in it won't make him a bad character or anything, despite obviously not being the best.
I hve jean C4 and she isn't any good. (Note we already hve crazy OP anemo like sucrose , kazuha and venti). I used to pair Jean with Xiao as C4 gives huge 40% anemo resistance bt burst is short lasting and Xiao needs energy. Also the best standard is Mona. Take it as u wl frm it.
I actually chose him over raiden because I NEEDED another hydro unit, and it was the best decision I made! I had a fully built Kuki with almost 900 em so I figured ayato would do better on my account. I got the best time on Spiral Abyss since getting him!
What is there to update about him? You can put Childe in some dendro teams where he works okay, even though not the best of the best options. Otherwise, there isn't anything to make a whole video about and he already has 2 videos on Childe
I don’t care whether he’s a meta or not, the moment I used him during the misty dungeon event, I enjoyed his gameplay. But, sadly, I have to go for raiden, but no worries, I plan to make a hyperbloom team as well and use ayato as driver, I’ll wait for his rerun again.
Zyox is the most tall and enigmatic man I've ever seen. His charisma and overall vibe is just great. Definitely one of the streamers of all time, /10 would watch again.

He is one of my most used 5* in the abyss. I use him in freeze with Rosaria, Diona, and Kazuha. The team is so good and honestly a good alternative for people with no 5* cryo characters?
@@palashgajbhiye8156 She's generally good on any team that wants an extra offensive Cryo support. I see a lot of people trying to build her as a physical DPS and while that's certainly an option, I haven't tried it myself. Another fun thing you could do is make a Reverse Melt + Burning team using Nahida, Bennett, Rosaria and a 4th option of your choice. Kaeya, Kazuha and Shenhe are all good choices.

Hey Zy0x, would a team comp of Ayato, Fischl, Venti & Kokomi work? Using Kokomi for healing, Fischl for Electro application, Venti for crowd control & swirl. I have a problem because I'm also building a Lyney team and a few of the characters I have on that team would work great on my Ayato team (Kazuha & Bennett)
Can't comment on Nahida, but I've found that I prefer Collei to Traveler for Ayato's Dendro support. Not only does she have a shorter cooldown, and a faster charging burst, her skill doesn't shove away lighter enemies from the blooms, and her sprout ability continuously applies Dendro in melee range, which means when Ayato's skill shoves enemies, blooms can still be generated while the fight moves. Though this doesn't matter much for hyper bloom, the closer blooms works much better for burgeon.
If I ever met Zy0x I would make him a tray of macarons. As he picks one to start with, I will dump them on the ground and smush them. As Zy0x falls to the ground in confusion and sadness, tears start flowing down his cheeks. I say, “lament! Weak! Useless! Boring! Disappear!” I would then leave the room, unlike family members when you watch a birdy brid video.
if u play on phone ayato is a life saver, not only does he deal good dmg, i lost 50/50 on weapon banner and got the useless purple spear but even without his weapon my ayato can deal 15k per slash and the range of his slashes is huge, i dont even need to move the camera too much wih him
@@stayheat yeah...about that, i stopped using her as soon as i got diluc, so she is lvl 30 and will stay that way, but it looks pretty on cyno so i gave it to him, and u right, at least is not vortext 😅 that thing cant be used even for fashion purposes

I have been playing Ayato everyday since he came out. Very fun, and I have not found any characters for on-field use more fun, besides now, maybe Wanderer
Man I always said that ayato is so underrated, he fits in so many teams. He and ayaka carried me for so long in the abyss. Actually I tried all three artifacts sets on him and echos of an offering was the set with the highes damage for me. Funny thing I went into that domain for xiao but never got one decent artifact for him but really good ones for ayato. XDD
@@jcpark1125 better to refine it later after building him, since it will depend on him that he doesn't have enough energy recharge. Only then is it worth refining

I use Ayato in a freeze team with c6 xingqiu, c6 kaeya and c0 ganyu. Works wonders. I can freeze basically any and all enemies except bosses so I barely require any healing, which is why I focused on using a 1 dps and 3 sub dps team. Even going up against wolves actually doesn't kill me.
