Awesome video. I'm new to the game...and to the strategy genre as a whole. After watching this, I think I'm going to start over to reallocate my time and resources into the most efficient path; I've just been building up the team I was given, trying to keep them strong and progress through the game. I still have a lot to learn about the different character stats and overall battle strategy. I'll keep watching your videos as they may provide more guidance. It's been very helpful so far.

Another good guide, i have been using a very simular system since i started and have achived a lot already, within a short space of time, did/doing a few things different but for all watching if you use this as a base guide line you will do well you can modify prioties as you need but the sqeunce suggested is almost certainly the most efficent event based order to focus on. I was surprised by no mentions of the jawas at all, i can understand they are a low prioty team, but they do complete the crit mod challange and a lot of toons do need crit chance and crit damage mod sets. The only thing i woild suggest quite different from your last version is some kind of team breakdown, you had this in your last vid and for the more advanced features such as rancor and tb it is really helpful, but i saw in an earlier comment you are working on a break down of each pillor and hopefully this will give that extra details. Great guide for getting a really good foothold in the game, keep up the good work and keep your faming on.

Warrior, thanks to this video, I was able to focus on the pillars like Phoenix and Empire and was able to unlock Thrawn, Palpatine and R2 to 7 stars easily. I was only able to unlock CLS up to the second last tier because I was still farming Old Ben when his quest came up. Hats off bud. Thanks again.

Bro i followed the guide since February and i have completed pillar 1 & 2. I'm farming for pillar 3 now. The visual guide was really helpful because i saved them in my gallery to keep track of my progress with check marks like a to do list. I farmed FO first (after pillar 1-2) for bb8 event, now I'm back farming resistance pillar 3.

Very good guide. Best one in YT of 2018. I wish i had seen this guide 2 months ago when i started. Im following the first pillar, but the problem is that i didnt get any phoenix till my lvl 55, and just then i started farming them. Definetly you NEED to start with phoenix team as a focus, im pretty sure everything would be a lot easyer right now. My main team in GW/arena is "lando5*(L), JC4*, STHan4*, Talia4* and Bobba(4*). Not much sinergy at all. Cant drop healers at GW or i dont finish it. Also have a 5*Biggs doing nothing hangging around cuz i saw ahnald saying i should focus him at beggining coff*bull set*coff, it could be a 7*phoenix in its place.

Running an ALT account and working up the process... You may want to make an addendum. The executrix is the first capital ship that is unlockable... I am now at level 47 and I have the shards for homeone, but don't have Ackbar yet... Phoenix is definitely the way to go especially for the early level GW. Geared up to 5-6 they are almost able to go through it solo on auto... not quite, but almost. Great video as always...

Started just a month ago and I have no regrets starting with Phoenix Squadron. Now I have both Zeb and Kanaan at 7*. Hera, Ezra and Chopper at 5*. Last but not the least Sabine at 3* and Biggs as side project. I have their ships at 3* All are G7 and G8. Also, I am able to maintain my arena rank above 200 and fleet arena above 50. Maybe this isn't the best guide out there but it sure is decent! Continue making vids. Thanks a lot! Great job! 😎

Thanks for the vid. Looks like I've been focusing on mostly Jedi and Sith characters with the occasional scoundrel, resistance, FO and rebel thrown in. I started this game last year and I did not know there were guides and forums until Nov 2017. Looks like I will have to shift my focus and strengthen my phase one pillar after I get Rey and finn to 7* (which strengthens my Mill Falc). But, I have been farming my characters I have to 7* and to gear 8 (at least) before I move to the next one. Oops. thanks to the video I see that I have been taking the long, hard, and slow road.

Been playing for...oh... 15 months now roughly... yeah I need to go back to pillar 1....pillar 2.... pillar 3....mhmm. In all fairness, most of this was not farmable 15 months ago, but I did skip around a lot. After 15 months I just now finished getting what I need for CLS, I just completed my resistance team and finally unlocked and cleared tier 3 of speed mods, and I'm almost done gearing up my phoenix sq to get 7* Thrawn (already got 6*). Honestly my biggest issue is I can't decide what to focus on after i'm done with those projects I just mentioned. Actually my next project is farming Unmasked Kylo and his ship while working on the rest of my ships to get them all to 7*. Anways, great video as usual Warrior. Keep it up!

Liked and subbed on the basis of consistently top notch content. I am just starting out a new game of SW:GOH after I had my I-pad fail before Xmas and just now been able to get another so I intend to follow this and see how it goes. Particularly interested in the F2P route of stopping at Gear 9, would you say once the 4 pillars are completed to gear 9 it is best to then go back and get each pillar to gear 11 one at a time or would you leave them at gear 9 and work on other characters? Thanks for all your hard work.

I wish I had this when I started, but that was two years ago, then I stopped playing for about a year missing most of the limited time people like light saber etc...

This is brilliant. Although people can quibble about the teams and side-projects in each pillar (and I'm sure they do!! :-) )I think the concept of pillars, a main faction and side projects is inspired. A nice way of structuring game play. A couple of questions; 1) What player levels would you expect for each pillar? both when starting and when finishing, or is it simply not relevant? 2) How does progress through the light/dark side and cantina battles fit in with this approach? I mean you need to play through to unlock various shards and pieces of gear. Are there positions you would see a player needing to reach before starting the next pillar?

With Vaders insane rework , id say I've done great. He's always been my main toon. Well main attacker anyways, and now he's back to the best in the game in that regard. I've got 3230 phys dmg , 186% CD, 61% pot, 170 speed, and 40% defense on him.... Vader and Wampa is a savage combo, one of the best in the game right now they both hit so hard. Right now I'm workin on gettin a good Resistance team I've neglected them for too long. But my darkside is set.

This 4 Pillar guide warped me into the game but can we get one of these a quarter? The meta warps so much that I know a lot of people would love to stay relevant. I use your 4 Pillar as a guide but hell, we all watch these vids as guides. Thanks Warrior!

I totally agree with him specially on pillar 1. I am a level 85 player and now I regret that I did not start phoenix squad as my arena team.. They work great for early levels on arena and they will/could unlock 2 empire characters which will be needed for r2d2 event. Palp,Thrawn, you get Vader and Tarkin eventually and just take them to 7stars, and just farm stormtrooper on cantina store. Its like that phoenix squad will lead you to CLS much easier. Just sayin 😂😁

Tarkin is unlocked at 4 star for F2P, and like another commentor said, necessary for zeta mats. No Fives on the list? His ship would make unlocking Thrawn and 6* ackbar much easier

Awesome video, best bang for your buck. Just curious on pillar 4, was Mace Windu supposed to be in there? You mention unlock for Endurance and I think you’d have enough Jedi without him to unlock Yoda if we include 7 star GK, but thats like 5 months of farming lol. Haters are gonna hate, but I've found this guide to be very helpful. I win far more consistently in the arena, I win Galactic War daily now, and I'm building a roster while strengthening Characters for the long haul. Kudos. Thanks for the video, and image links.

Note on the Pillar 1 Side Project - Ackbar. Prior to level 60, as you unlock ship challenges you gain 80 or ~100 AA shards, so he pretty much unlocks himself.

When I started the game, followed your 2017 f2p and helped alot. was waiting for an updated version and actually predicted phoenix squad would be a priority. Starting to work on them. Have chopper and zeb at 5 star so far and slowly getting ezra through fleet shipments. Finished ig88 today so starting kana tomorrow and will work on hera soon. Great guide and will definitely take many of the suggestions. Excited to do phoenix squad though might be a while to get enough credits to max them and gear them. Would love Thrawn. Also, what do you think about the emperor and vader reworks? I love vader's new ability. So freaking fast

Such a great guide! I'm entirely F2P and have been following this guide all year. I'm now wrapping up the final tier - unfortunately those Vets are going to take a while and I won't be ready for the next JTR event. My question is: how do you decide what to move on to next after the pillars are done? It seems like there are so many good teams and characters out there...sometimes I just stare at my roster and am frozen by the sheer number of possibilities.

Excellent guide warrior after just over 2 months of play I have Phoenix to 7 apart from Sabine. Arena rank 150. Ship rank 15. In another month I will be ready for the 2nd pillar. Are you still planning on releasing a video guide for the empire. Hopefully so as I am eagerly awaiting it. Thanks for all the time invested it really does make gameplay better for everyone

The biggest change I would make is to switch one of the troopers with Tarkin in pillar 2, if anything you should start farming Tarkin as soon as you get him which should be in pillar 1. You still want a decent DS team to go as far as you can in the DS battles to unlock gear farming locations in pillar 1. Imperial troopers are nice, great NS counter and your guild will love you in TW, but dark side ships should take priority over them until you can complete all the ship challenges. Imperial Troopers are a good pillar 3 and 4 side project as you need them for TB. To that end, Geonosian Soldier is a great first dark side ship. He is easy for beginner players to farm his gear, and he's great for getting ahead in fleet battles and Tarkin's daily ship challenge. The Geonosian ships are some of the best in the game so this ship will help you out no matter how long you play. Even if you don't use them in your fleet arena because you are using Warrior's WTF fleet you'll still want them for TW and possibly DS TB. Clone Trooper Sargent is also another good beginner ship for light side ship battles. I would suggest investing in those two in the pillar 1 and 2 stage while you work on getting other ships like biggs/wedge and bounty hunter ships as alluded in the guide. Also, Jedi Consular's ship is good in the beginning too, and you can use him in the Grand Master Yoda event as it is not difficult. At the end of pillar 1 going into pillar 2 you should be getting ready for the GMY event. With the two Phoenix Jedi, Old Ben, JC, and Mace you should be able to get a 7* Yoda next time it comes around with minimal extra love for your Jedi. For bounty hunters, all you really need is any good 5 BH toons. Boba, IG-88 and Cad Bane are just easy to farm shards for, so it makes sense why you would put them in pillar 1 to carry you through credit heist with StHan and Lando. Maybe it's because the video is old, but I would just say for pillar 3 and 4 work on a good BH team on the side, preferably a Bossk or Jango lead, especially since Bossk has one of the best ships in the game. I think some of the side projects in pillar 4 are outdated, like Barris, QGJ, Maul, and Rex from pillar 3. All good toons, but I wouldn't describe them as pillar worthy. Some new legendary events came out since the video was made, so instead of those toons I would start focusing on either BH for Chewy, KOTOR for Revan, or Ewoks for C3PO. Pillar 5, 6, 7, and 8, in no particular order, should be a meta BH, Jedi, Sith, and NS team, while on the side working on the other legendary events which BH and Jedi teams coincide with (BH needed for Chewy and Revan is a great Jedi leader), building up your JTR squad for heroic sith raid, and various other teams like that nasty Qi'ra lead with Nest, and maxing out toons you use in fleet battles like Warrior's WTF fleet which you should already have the toons/ships if you've been following the guide, and in general maxing out squads that you like to use for arena and TW/Grand Arena.

Hmm i agree with pillar one mostly, but the side projects not entirely. I disagree with any form of focus on bounty hunters or scoundrels because u can easily make up for them other than boba (sth rhs and the vets qualify and are able to get u thru last tier credit heist) For tier 2 i would consider veers squad a side project. They are concurrently farmable since they help unlock r2 but most ppl would have ep thrawn and possibly 7* vader so u only really need 2 more imps (and rg is so easy to get). I dont recall seeing fotp, but im amazed he isnt a main project seeing how great he is in fleet. Overall this guide only helps u to SLOWLY unlock everything but does not help u transit into competitive SA and FA. Needs your own tweaking and adaptation based on character releases to truly be useful.

I just hit Level 60 and I was curious how this video dovetailed with prior Fleet videos that you have done, e.g., Jedi Consular and Clone Trooper are not on the farming guide, but should they and their ships be farmed for Fleet; since the farming guide puts a focus on Phoenix for Pillar I, should the Ghost and Phantom be farmed early on? So I would alter this. Pillar 1 Phoenix but push to 5 stars and then focus on ezra and kanan getting 7. Project work old ben and fett and Stormhan. Anything extra goes to bounty hunters focusing on a team of 5 This nets you a 5 star thrawn and 5 star emperor. That allows you to focus on prepping for jedi and GMY. With pillar 1 complete you focus on magma trooper, storm trooper, and tarkin. This gives you R2. There is zero chance first trip around you get CLS. Remember the focus is maximize your time too. Projects here are clean old ben up to 7 and pull 2 more jedi up. There are a few options for this. Mace and asoka are both good. I like luminaria. Also at this point bastila should be farm ready. You should invest in always clearing out her hard mode at least once This means you'll have a likely 3 stat bastila and the rest 7 starred jedi. That's a powerful team and should net you into the high 100s of squad area. Pillar 3 is similar to the last one. Get your FO team up to 5. Projects should be old republic now with revan. You can also focus on finishing Phoenix squad up. This way your second go around you'll make your already solid empire team unstoppable. Your bounty hunters will have a solid base and your jedi team should easily make their way through arena and galaxy war. With these teams you can contribute to your guild in guild wars instead of focusing on getting the solo. Let me know your thoughts.

I started the game 5 weeks ago, went a wrong way and last Monday decided to restart from the zero:) Now I'm relying heavily on your guide and have a question about GW battles. Till what level does phoenix squad have a good perfomance in GW? In one of your Y2017 videos you showed 75lvl GW team with 3 healers, but there is no any tips about GW team in this guide. Farming in GW store in very quick, so I want to be able to finish all 12 battles every day:) What advice can you give?

Hi, Warrior. Great thanks for all your videos and especially this one! I have a question, why do you recommend Snowtrooper, Stormtrooper and Veers for an initial empire squad, and not Tarkin, Royal Guard, Magmatrooper? The main reason is availability of the toons?

first off another fantastic guide man!! my question is: ive been playing for about 3 months so i have toons across all four pillars. if i buckle down and focus using this guide what time frame do you see total completion? im mostly f2p btw.

Thanks for the guide, been following it for few weeks (started less than month ago). I find it amazing that you still reply here to new comments. And since that's the case I'll just post my question. I know it's been asked a lot (and I've read all comments below), but there's still no consensus. What is the reason for listing Ackbar instead of Tarkin in the first pillar? I mean, they're both unlocked for free, with their ships, and according to many (if not most) of the players Tarkin is much better for the fleet, and it's useful for DS battles (3* them), cause there're only 3 DS farmable characters in the 1st pillar (not a full team). People also mention some Tarkin's zeta challenges, but I have no idea when they're available (propably endgame?). Meanwhile Ackbar is needed for...? Chimera? I guess it's also a long shot, isn't it? So what's the reason for choosing him? Cheers

I'm a new player and I spent several days to watch and consider every possible guide. Most of them were very unclear and yours is really the best. Although, I don't understand some of your moves here (like not using Tarkin at very beginning instead of Ackbar) but anyway I'm still going to use it from cover to cover. Can You explain shortly which is the best choice to farm from a guild store? I think about Jyn Erso first because in the first pillar there are no guild store positions and she is straight in the pillar two (not available from anything else). What do You think about it because some people advice me Old Ben or Luke Farmboy? Do You advice any changes to this guide after the last update with Darth Sion and Visas Maar?

Love your videos/guides! Watching this one I don’t understand why baze, shoretrooper and deathtrooper in pillar 3 are before QGJ, maul, phasma, who are all much easier farms for beginner/FTP? I’m L85 and have been a while, still can’t farm baze, shoretrooper, deathtrooper.. (or vet Han/chewie).. can you do a guide on what you need to beat light/dark hard L9? And cantina 8? I think there must be a few of us low/mid L85’s stuck in this rut.. keep up the good work : )

Lando only makes sense for early players for credit heist etc, if you missed him but already got another scoundrel up and are lets say in section 3 or 4 it is absoluteley useless to waste time farming him in the cantina...

Hey Warrior... It is a quite interesting guide for sure!!! One of my main problem IS to stay focused hahaha so I guess your guide will help!!! A few questions and comment though... So I have 2 accounts and I will most probably use this on both my accounts to help me get back on track... My old account is already a FO 7* team but I got nothing else... It's funny as last week I was actually thinking to go ahead a start a new team of Phoenix and trying to get back on track with everything... so I guess you guide comes in at the right time ;-) My new account was following the Adaptive 2.0 Guide so I already have the Phoenix team with me :D Almost 7*... Here are the questions: 1 - How to level all those Characters? so for now I have my Phoenix team in my Arena... So they are the most important and have to stop on top? Is that what I understand? All the other characters I slowly level them up? 2 - What about ships... I have to farm those ships that are in each pillars too? Do I need to go to 7* with them? Or anything else? Should I also not spend my Fleet Shards to get those rare ships? 3 - As it was mentioned before why Ackbar First? I know Empire is already on Second pillar but don't we want Zeta challenge ASAP?
