Wow, this is insane :) I have never seen a girl with hair this curly be able to blow dry it so straight! Your hair is beautiful and I enjoyed your video.
my best tips for a nice result if you dont have much practice (im a hairdresser btw :) your hair should be quite damp, not really dripping but it should be wet if its curly always blowdry down the hair shaft to remove frizz if you want the roundbrush to add wave, focus the airflow around the curve of the brush spend some time working on the roots, do 1 pass over the length to dry it a little and get it to go through the brush, then attack the roots. get used to using the brush to pick up your section, just roll it over from the root like ashley does find a way of holding your tools thats comfortable and natural to you and practice. always use a heat protectant/some kind of heat protect serum/oil and smoothing blowdry fluids are your friend.
okay i have this ugly wavy/straight/curly frizzy hair (i can't explain it at all) so i can understand why i need to do this. her curls are literally perfect and little and cute. if i had her hair i would wear it natural every day
I totally understand how you feel! Some days I love my curls and some days I want to shave my head 😅 It's so hard finding a healthy balance, and finding really good products to keep your hair looking nice! I am happy that I could help with your blow out routine!
Oh my god same I thought I was the only one my hair is a mix of all those😂 My bottom layer is straight and some strands at the top are straight but frizzy then the rest is curly or wavy and extra frizzy I need to straighten it always
Don’t criticize your self, your explanation of how to do your hair was just perfect! I’m so glad I came across your video. My hair is so curly and I have cowlicks! Going right now to wash my hair and try your technique. Again, great job thank you😘
I use the same method to maintain my blowout ... my hair doesn't wrap well and seems to be about the same length and texture as yours. I see you still have a beautiful curl pattern even with frequent blowouts. So thank you for this vid, it really helps confirm that I'm doing the right thing, because so many naturals vids have scared me with horror stories about going straight. 💖
I know exactly how you feel! I used to get soo scared whenever colouring or heat styling my hair, but I've realized that my hair is pretty strong, and everyones hair reacts differently to different things! ❤️❤️
If you like Bumble and bumble's repair blow dry you should check out their straight blow dry as well! It's a similar concept but it's specifically meant for blow drying and smoothing coarse, curly hair into a straight style, and you still get the benefits of the heat protectant! It also helps maintain the style for a bit :) I'm a hairstylist who worked with Bb products for years and I always recommended that product for people with your hair type and got a lot of positive feedback!
Yessss!!! So glad you did an updated video of how you blow dry your hair 💇 !!! I absolutely love the way your hair looks when you do a blowout ❤❤❤❤ I am so trying this on my hair soon, hopefully I'll look as beautiful as you do girl 🙆 ❤😍
You got this! Hi, JOHN 3:16 “For God so loved the world, he gave his one and only begotten Son, so that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” God loves you all so so much! Please repent! ❤️❤️
Chile I just came from a video saying how to straighten hair but her hair was already straight 🥴 so I'm happy to see a real curly hair being straighten
Thanks for the video, I'm trying to learn how to do this for my 9 year old, she's got the curliest hair ever and I don't wanna flat iron it or damage her hair so I looked into using a blow dryer. You do it in such small amounts (of hair), that must take you AGES!
Hi, JOHN 3:16 “For God so loved the world, he gave his one and only begotten Son, so that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” God loves you all so so much! Please repent! ❤️❤️
Honey you are not crazy sounding nor are you messing up this video. Stay confident in yourself. You are beautiful and seem to have an amazing personality. Thank you for sharing.
Pretty! I am 2c and I kinda like my hair, but then... it's only for the first day after washng and styling them. Next day it's also wavy/curly, but doesn't look good. And I also don't wash my hair often so I get irritated that I they don't look good and nothing really would make them pretty if it's not washing them again. And I just remembered when I went to hair stylist and my hair after they blow dried my hair straight were so light and silky and I could just simply brush them and look good even after 5 days. So I am thinking about getting round brush and learn how to do it by myself. I don't really know what hair brush would be good - especially that a lot of them have really sharp bristles...
Finally found you! Saw a video of " how to clip in hair extensions" video and I absolutely love your energy and how you explain things well! Just subscribed!
Hi I couldn't help but comment on this it was an awesome tutorial and super helpful! but I also wanted to mention that I have naturally curly hair that is prone to breakage and my hair stylist told me that the kind of elastic band I was using to tie up my hair was causing my breakage. You use the same one in your video and I think it will really help if you switch out the type of you elastic use. I now use the Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics, and it has helped SO MUCH. You can find them anywhere and you will start to notice a huge difference after some time! Hope you see this and try it out!
this is just so awesome, i’m always struggling to do a blow dry myself because of how frizzy my hair gets. But i’m gonna try a big brush like yours, you make it look so easy, hope it works. And you look beautiful btw ❤
I am a very bad influence when it comes to heat styling! If I am in a rush, I'll use a high setting, but if I have some time to spare, I'll use a low setting! ❤️❤️
Thisssssss is how I want my hair to turn out but I can't do it with the blow dryer and I hate how my hair turns out with the straightener! bless you for this video... my hair is wavy not that curly but still, it's quite frizzy when I brush it lol.
It takes practice to get the perfect blow out when you have frizzy/curly hair! But try it out and let me know how it goes! I love the way my hair feels when blowdried straight!
Thank you for watching! Keeping your roots straight varies for everyone! Before bed, try wrapping your hair as smoothly as possible, with a silk scarf! This will help your hair lay flat keeping it smoother for longer! When showering, use a hair towel rather than a shower cap, to protect your hair from the steam/humidity in the shower!
i love your routine but how do you do that white the round brush up and down i try it ever a after my shower but i need first 2 hours and the secound thing is when i am finishd after 1 hour my hair looks horrible so frizzy so like a explosion on my had can you give me a tipp ashley ?
Practice! That is the only thing I can really suggest! When I first started, my hair would do the same thing. Once I started doing weekly treatments, and kept practicing, my hair started to work a little better!
Great video. Very informational and helpful for me. I have the same type of hair. I will try the brush, blow dryer and BB product. Thank you for your guidance. Yasmin S.
Since u wash and put heat on ur hair once a week, what do you do with ur hair the rest of the week? Is this how u wear it this day and then style it different the rest of the week?
I honestly don't do much with my hair throughout the week, unless I am going out or filming a tutorial for you guys! Majority of the time I leave my hair blownout for the week, and when it starts getting greasy/dirty, I'll put it in a braid or updo!
I have been trying to blow dry my hair straight for years! It has so much more volume that way, which I like a lot more than the stick straight flat iron look. What temperature setting do you use your hair dryer on? Thanks for the vid! I'm totally gonna try your technique, maybe I'll get it right this time XD
It takes practice! I just learned how to blow dry my hair straight two years ago, after years of struggling! I often use a high temperature, but if I have time than I will use a lower temperature!
can you do a wash and go video, and one with your favourite products? Please please please, i have the same curl type as you and i have no idea how to maintain it
I have an old video from last year that you can check out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jczLwMjB7F0.html. But I will be doing an updated version, of this update, since I've gone super blonde! 💕
Hi!! I wish I would blow dry my daughters hair like this. Every time I try it comes out dry and brittle. What heat and speed setting do you use ? She has 3b 3c high porosity hair. Any tips ? Thanks in advance.
Wish you would've explained more, and how did you blow dry it when you had the blow dryer in the back of your head? How come your hair didn't get tangled when you twisted the round brush? Mine always does!
Sorry! I try my best to explain things, but I am the worst at it! When I get to the back of my head I try to pull my hair forward or up.. it makes it a little easier. My hair does get tangled in the brush sometimes, but its all about the angles and the size of the brush. Try to not wrap your hair around it too much!
Thx alot ur really good how long does it take. Your very pretty . you should make more. I've been wanting to blow dry my hair straight i wish i had a blow dryer tho
i went out and bought the most expensive elchim blow dryer because of this video and i love it, but now i need to get a good round brush because i still can't get my hair this straight. we have the same exact hair texture though, so i know it's possible!!
Umm I'm not sure, I've never tried it! For me it works better with the clip, so that you can direct the air flow correctly, but I've seen hairstylist use the same technique without the nozzle on the front!
hi Ash in Cape Town there is probably 90% colourd girls like me sleeping with a soolkous. :) It is a sheer stockings (pantihouse) cut off leg part, make a not where foot part is an there you have a Soolkous :) you comb your freshly blow dry hair tight around your head and gengtly put on the soolkous.just remember the hair must be neat under the soolkous (pronounced like swirlcows :) in swirl the R is silent )
Have you tried using a protein treatment like aphogee two step to combat breakage and refresh your curls? It's amazing and works well with colored curly hair. I got my hair bleached before and parts of my hair were breaking off in chunks and the first time I used a protein treatment it completely stopped! Check the reviews on Sally's beauty website, it's a miracle. Love your vids and you're gorgeous!! 💗
