There are only 7 bolts in the mag not 8! it can only hold 8 when it's cocked. Excuse the camera autofocus. email adress to contact me and place orders: sales@crosstactics.co.za
I realise after watching some of the video back that I said there's 8 bolts in the mag when what I meant to say was there is 7 in the mag but you can load another one in after it's cocked to make 8 so it's (7+1)
Super cool 👌 nice work on the newer model , love what you’re doing with these. Interesting system for a compact crossbow. Great video . Hope you’re able to nail down your logistics and get your platform out there 🙏
Seems like a good deal price point; i too care nothings about speedloaders, seem gimmick like to me. So if i was to purchase this platform i would prefer the magazine i could stop loading immediately and use. I also like how you have the firegrip the correct way to aid with cocking.
Clients always have the option to replace limbs at their own cost, . Besides the fact that the 90lbs stinger limbs aren't that much more powerful, the standard 80lbs limbs on these crossbows is more than powerful enough for its intended purpose (you cant generate as much force by stabing a knife as the standard 80lbs limbs can generate) It's already lethal, why would I want to make the cocking harder for myself if I don't need that extra power ? Why would I spend a bunch of extra money on a limb that's 10 lbs more when I can just make my already existing limb more powerful with some DIY modifications (which is always an option aswell for clients) the stinger 2 90lbs limbs are tway too expensive and shipping costs are way to high for me to ever consider getting it as a replacement on my personal Rapid Fire Tactical Crossbow but clients are free to do whatever they want :) The targets I make are designed to slow rye bolts down and stop them from penetrating too far to preserve the bolts incase you were wondering, . It's not just a cardboard box
@@john9147 no doubt about that! But seeing the technical specs can be a bit misleading, since the bolts don't behave like pellets or bullets there's a few caveats when it comes the physics of bolts so comparing the kinetic energy with other projectile launchers isn't always a fruitful endeavour, it's much more useful to visually see the damage it does and feel its power, I'm not saying tye kinetic data isn't useful to know, as long as you have a good understanding of all the physics involved. A picture or video of bolts being shot into a test skull or torso os more informative than reading the technical data. . A long time ago I knew it could kill without ever knowing anything about the kinetic energy behind it etc and that's what made me want something like this and ultimately what made me make my own. Thank you for your comments :)
@@CrossTactics The one leg that is important to penetration profile a bow can produce that is often over looked in the power pyramid and the that being momentum. The 9mm and the old school black powder 45 colt had the same kinetic energy. However the 45 was vastly more effective in its one shot stopping over 9mm. The reason it was so effective was the weight of the projectile caused a large increase in momentum on target. A lot of people don't realize that kinetic energy is the measure of how much work can be done by a projectile. Where as momentum is a measure of how much of that kinetic energy is actual transfers into actual work performed if that makes sense. Just some food for thought. But I think when we see low kinetic energy bows penetrate good and deep that what likely is making the difference is momentum.
@@Mogruith the equivalent of 75 Euro or 81 Dollars in our local currency (R1500) roughly same price as crossbow (since each mag is made to order and they are not mass produced we basically cover manufacturing costs and labor above that we don't make much profit) you can shoot as fast as a pump action shotgun basically. Check out some of my other videos where I actually shoot with it 🎯
@@markhuckercelticcrossbows7887 someone needs to invent an affordable magazine £40 - £60 ish with a quick release system and chest rig with pouches for spares. One on the crossbow and 3 or 4 spares on the chest rig. 28 to 35 rounds should be enough fire power before stopping to rest and reload the mags. 😜
It seems like that exact crossbow design is sold under a bunch of names. The one I have is a "BearX Desire". Is there a generic name that for that pistol crossbow design? Also I really wish you shipped to Canada, but that's probably our laws, not you.
Hi Jakub, my magazine system is only available in South Africa currently, I am working on getting to a position where I can ship abroad. Email me at sales@crosstactics.co.za And I will let you know when I can ship abroad and at what price.
