While you guys are consistent with this "filter", Jefferson being 24.9 vs CD being 25.1 makes it seem a little silly to include one but not the other lol
@@thedynastydomain Yeah it's really not a big deal, because people know which tier CD would in, but the age 25 cutoff does seem a little arbitrary to me. I guess Jefferson won't be a cornerstone asset in 1 month?
you really could say any age is arbitrary, thats fairly subjective. I think 25 years old is a good cutoff in terms of where dynasty players stop viewing assets as "young" and think of them more as in entering the middle of their career. the idea is to rank young assets, as youth is a very popular trait in dynasty leagues. again, Jefferson is still a cornerstone for your dynasty team. but he wont be on our cornerstone rankings videos because we chose age 25 as the cutoff. just for content my man
I’ve been able to assemble Jefferson, Chase, Marv, Bijan, London and LaPorta on a 12 team SF roster. League mates didn’t value picks, so I had 2-7 in 2024, which I used 3-7 to turn into cornerstones!
Rb room is CMC Saquon Rachaad and Mixon. Should I roll with the older guys and try and flip Rachaad for a young wideout? 12 team SF start 8. Contending.
I’ve got Bijan, Puka, and London from this video. Also have guys like Ceedee, Kyler, Stafford, Conner, Collins, Kirk, and Maye and Bryce Young. Where do you think this team would stand in terms of contention. I feel like it might be somewhere in the middle and I’m gonna have to move out of that
Good question. If we put QBs in, they’d dominate this list. Superflex leagues make QBs so valuable that it would push all of the skill position players way down. Caleb would be top of the A tier, pushing S tier. He’s elite.
Should I trade AR and Njoku for Mcbride and Pick 1. I also have pick 3… i was thinking of drafting Marv at 1 then trading from 3 to 2. If not taking daniels
Just depends would you rather have ar, njoku and whoever is there at 3 most likely not caleb or marv or would you rather have McBride, marv, caleb or Daniels. I’m a huge marv fan so I think I’d rather have marv.
In their careers: Bijan: 0.32 points per snap Gibbs: 0.41 points per snap Breece: 0.45 points per snap In their last 10 regular season games: Bijan: 46 snaps per game Gibbs: 41 snaps per game Breece: 46 snaps per game Snaps (Last 10) * points per snap (career)? Breece 20.7 Gibbs 16.7 Bijan 14.7 Did I mention Breece averages 7 targets per game, only had like 10 touches within the 10 yard line, is moving from Zach Wilson to Aaron Rodgers and has a full and healthy offseason for the first time as a pro? He's RB1. We'll all be saying it definitively in 6 months.
Don't understand why y'all are so down on Pickens. I am VERY high on him -- Steelers have quite possibly the best OL in football if Fautanu and McCormick and Frazier pan out, Russ has long been a top-5 deep ball thrower in the league, GP has ZERO competition with Roman Wilson more of a not-massive-volume slot guy overlapping with Friermuth. Obviously Harris and Warren are going to be beasts, but the play-action is literally a godsend for Pickens' game -- still got 4.4 speed and 6'4", 220 frame to work with. I'd love to hear the reasoning behind having guys like Olave 4 tiers above Pickens, who outproduced Olave (despite Pickett and Rudolph and DJ and a crumbling OL). I see very little separating London and Pickens -- maybe London is a bit more even-keeled and a slightly better route-runner, but there are 3 A-caliber options on the Falcons in Bijan and Pitts, while Pickens and Warren are the only 2 real threats on PIT.
The only argument I can think of is the AFC North's superior defenses vs the NFC South's paper-mache defenses, but aside from SOS, Pickens is clearly better set up for success than the great but hugely overhyped London.
I can't believe that the Falcons have three players on this list, deservedly so, while their offense was truly offensive last year. Speaks volumes of poor coaching and quarterbacking. I'm waiting for Pitts to cook this year! He may end up as TE1 by year's end because he was mildly productive with few catchable balls thrown his way.
I have a trade offer in dynasty superflex 1pt Te premium where I would receive the 1.07 and Puka for the 1.05 a mid/late 2025 first and 2.11 and 2.12 should I take it?
Why was Pitts so low? Trey McBride produced less as a rookie and was a lesser prospect with better QB play. Both could be the #2 options in their offense and i thought we were patient with TEs? This one doesn't math ngl
I think Laporta might be too high. Had 10 TDs which is much higher than expected. Trade him for Jake Ferguson (super high red zone target percentage) and pick(s).
So I have, the 1.04 and 1.05 … its a 3 WR league, I have Ja’Marr Chase, Tyler Lockett and Gabe Davis … I have Kmet at TE …. So, my question is… should I draft Nabers and Odunze or Draft Bowers, instead of Odunze ? Thoughts 💭
Hey guys! New to the channel! I am doing a start up draft here at the end of may. 10 man Superflex. Pick 4 in the first round. Do i trade back? IF i stay at 4, do i draft a QB first round? just looking for a recommendation !
I have a tight end premium league, and I took Sam Laporta with my second pic at the beginning of the second round. 1.08 went Justin Jefferson. Said I won’t need to worry about TE or elite WR for a decade. Maybe a slight reach, but he wasn’t coming to me in the 3rd. I’ll take my chances pairing JJ McCarthy and Jefferson. Rare to have the best TE and Wr in football on one’s roster.
He’s not the best TE in football. He was the highest scoring fantasy TE in a down year for the top scoring TE. I don’t think anyone would be surprised if his numbers went down this year
@@Ooochocinco the reason he’s number one in Dynasty is because of his age and future outlook. I completely understand he went bonkers as a rookie and a second year reduction as possible but that does not take away from the fact he’s 23 years old and capable of doing things, maybe only one other tight end has proven. I think it’s safe to say he’s the tight end one moving forward, probably in a S tier
My dynasty draft was last season and thru trades/ draft I was able to get 3 of the players on this list C tier and up: Amon ra, breece, Wilson. I’m sitting good going into 2024
Cornerstone rankings don't include QBs because of the nature of the value of that position. We would easily have 12-16 QBs in this list, most at the top. This is more of an exercise for skill positions, the value of QBs is assumed.
A few corrections: Chase > ARSB, Breece > Gibbs, Nabers > G. Wilson, Addison > Flowers, Pickens > JSN, but you were right on with everything else. Congrats!! Keep up the good work!
Sent Levis and Treylon for 2025 second, 2026 second, and Ray Davis. Good value? Was targeting Ray Davis on waivers so I liked getting him a lot. Also, got Maye at the 1.05 and Lloyd at the 3.05, Burton on waivers. I think I did fairly well.
Seems like a sell low on Levi’s unless this is 1qb. In a 2qb you should’ve gotten atleast a first and second, and maybe more if you waited until week 2-3 of the season. Treylon doesn’t seem like he moved the needle one way or another. You might’ve gotten fleeced my dude.
It’s not just yall… but the Pickens attitude problem thing is funny when crashee rice is at 22… even more so with the news that he assaulted a photographer
So new to dynasty. If someone offered you flowers for the 3rd pick, likely Rome, and you got 2 2nd rounders would you do it? I’m trying to learn value.
@@richardcheese9152 “tanked for Marv” is all I needed to here… have fun in the non comp league man!!! Are we supposed to be impressed??? Don’t get it grandma league commish
@tylee5048 I tanked, got the 1.02, and took Marv? Keep being mad cuz bad lmao you know nothing. Or you're trolling. Either way you're sad. Keep hating, I'm sure you're happy in life with that attitude.
I think olaves situation got infinitely better lol the switch from Kubiak from Carmichael alone is drastic. Kirk also coming off an Achilles and more target competition with London I just don’t see how he’s over Olave. Olave with the super elite tier of yards per route run, massive gap for targets between him and number 2 on his team as well.
London is oozing with talent. It’s a real shame his qb play, and to a lesser extent the play calling, has been so poor throughout London’s first two years. i see olave being ranked below London, mainly because there is no chemistry between carr and him. Also he tends to give up on routes.
That’s true, Olave has been efficient. Maybe his situation will get better like you said. In terms of London, we think London is a better WR with a better situation. That’s obviously subjective but that’s where we are with it.
Well WR2s are very valuable in fantasy, the problem is we tend to overvalue them. Hes a great piece with a high floor but he’s being priced like a 1. If his price adjusts I love him as a dynasty piece.
WR2 as long as Jefferson doesn’t leave. And Addison didn’t disappoint rookie year Again what if Jefferson leaves for any reason? Addison is 22 and we are playing dynasty. I understand selling him tho if you love the return package
I gotta say it keeping Bijan above breece is starting to get disrespectful. Hall was a great prospect (not ground breaking like Bijan) and what he’s done since he was drafted and after his injury shows he is producing in multiple ways and could get 100 rushing 100 receiving g yard with 1 TD in a given week. Bijan showed what besides he can get schemed out of an offense like Pitts and London but will show amazing plays. Maybe this season changes that
Bijan was a top 10 pick, Breece was not. Bijan is only 22 years old. Breece is not. Bijan has an offense with a sustainable future. Breece does not. Breece has a major injury history. Bijan does not. After this year, the Jets have no QB, and we saw how inefficient Breece is without a passing game to lighten the load.
I can understand if you think Breece > Bijan. You know just as well as we do. But I don’t think having Bijan first is a hot take, let alone disrespectful.
My Dynasty Team. Year 2 Josh Allen CMC J.Taylor J. Chase D. London J. Addison D. Kincaid J.Mixon 20 Players on Bench. If you want to know those players comment on this.
Your RB’s are elite, but I have a similar strength team. Also 10 team. 6pt pass TD though. QB- Mahomes RB- Barkley RB- White WR- Hill WR- Chase WR- Puka TE- Engram Flex- Brown Flex- Evans Flex- Olave Super Flex- Richardson
@@JaedonTalksDynasty yeah as we mentioned in the video. Jefferson will turn 25 next month and will not be on our cornerstone videos anymore. This isn’t that hard man. 25 or older = not included in this video 24 or younger = included in this video Simple as that.
1QB, 12 team ppr Qb- Lamar/Dak Rb- Etienne /kamara/A. Jones Wr- Lamb/ Pittman/Deebo/ K. Allen/J.Downs/E. Moore Te- Laporta/Pitts I have picks 1.01/ 1.10/ 2.01/ 3.10/ 4.10/ 5.10 Really want MHJ but I'm pretty desperate for RB. Would it make sense to try to trade 1.01 for Bijan or Breece hall?
@@whits6783 only guys I’m willing to trade laporta for would be another high profile receiver like Chase/st.brown and maybe aj. Find a team that needs a tight end and trade him for one of their best assets. I’ve seen laporta hold more value than any other player not named Justin Jefferson or Patrick mahomes in some of my leagues. Gotta know your worth and stand by it. If anything, see how your league mates value pitts and go from there. I wouldn’t trade laporta if I had him unless someone was willing to sell out to get him.
You could also probably get Trey benson at the 1.10 in a 1qb but that might be a stretch(will probably go earlier). Maybe see if a qb needy team would go in on Dak for an rb with upside like JT? Just renewed his contract last year and has atleast 3 years left in the tank. Take C. Williams/Jayden Daniels at the 1.10 if he falls. Other options would be to package the 1.10 and 2.01 to trade up for brooks around the 1.05/6 range and draft MHJ at the 1.01. Good luck!
@@thedynastydomain sure but if your doing a cornerstone ranking i feel like the age cut off should be much higher for WRs when its reasonable to expect a solid 5-7 years of elite production from a player
the lions offense supporting 3 top 10 cornerstone assets almost feels unsustainable? could just be overthinking it, but it feels like something going needs to give in that offense.
I don't think Seattle traded for Howell for nothing. For better or worse, I anticipate him taking over the job halfway through this season and slinging it around to his stable of thoroughbreds, as Seattle looks to rebuild by drafting a QB next year. Geno is clearly not the guy, and they know they are wasting DK's prime years, Lockett's final years, and JSN's essentially free years. So what I'm saying, is I think there's plenty of room for optimism with JSN.
