A good friend and I spend our spare time collecting old board games, specifically game show home games. This is a video of our collection. We frequently visit random thrift shops, Salvation Armys, Savers, and many antique malls and shops to find our games. Sometimes we resort to eBay for particularly obscure things. The collection is a culmination of years of hard work and dedication.
Unlike most die-hard collectors, we only purchase games we enjoy playing, rather than buying just for rarity's sake. Even if we find a very old, rare game brand new, we will take apart all the parts, tear open the shrinkwrap, assemble it and actually play the game: games were meant to played with, not to be left as decoration pieces in a glass case.
We are currently up to 219 games total, with new games being added weekly, with about only 40 left that we are actively searching for! Of course there are many others we would pick up in passing.
As of the last video update, we have collected all editions of:
- Wheel of Fortune
- Jeopardy!
- Family Feud
More games and videos to come!

I still own some game show electronic games, too. Combine game show video games, game show home games and board games, and Game Show Electronic games together, then we have a huge collection!

Good Lord. This video is 16 years old and I’m just finding it. I am absolutely amazed at the volume and organization of this collection. I had no idea they made so many games. You’ve really opened my eyes to a lot of what’s out there and how what I have is only a small fraction of what I’m seeing here. Really really awesome collection and very neatly stored and displayed! 👍🏼

I also seek out game show-based board games, albeit "modern" ones. I recently acquired Endless Games' The $25,000 Pyramid from 12 years ago, to complement other games I bought around the same time when I was 10-12 years old. It's sort of a trip down memory lane seeing these old games, and to finally play something I wanted to play but my parents didn't buy it for me back then, lol.

I never did have any of those FF editions myself,but I would loved too because those were the days long before video game consoles like Nintendo,Playstation,& XBox existed and had their own versions,not to mention home computers were not affordable in most households then.

Wow I counted about 7 of the box games you had that I had when I was young. They are gone now I think all but the Price is Right in the blue box from like 1986. Crazy!! I had Win Lose or Draw in a box at one time. I don't remember seeing you having that one!!!

My favorite in the bunch, is without a doubt the Family Feud games. The original 8 editions from Milton Bradley. I grew up watching Richard Dawson promote the first 7. The 8th was released after ABC cancelled FF in 1985.

Do you have the roll of puzzles for the concentration that you used to be able to mail away for? Use to have a concentration board game but it got left in the rain and the puzzles and cards got wrecked.

I used to have the 2nd edition ever of Wheel Of Fortune as well as the 1987 Hollywood Squares,which I believe never released any subsequent editions.

congrats for your big and amazing collection... here in Brazil it's not a tradition release board games for all the TV GAME SHOW.. Sometimes, we have luck... Wow!!!!! Love it!!!!! I hope you do another update! Love to see what its like now! 😎 If you do, might i suggest you don't rush as much. Take it a just a tad slower so we can read and enjoy all the game titles. But still love it!!
