Your videos are all quite informative and helpful, but I wonder if I might offer some advice to you. When you are working on the design aspect of an Android app, it is best not to set static component dimensions, as this may have a negative effect when viewing the app on different screen sizes. In this tutorial, you use a RelativeLayout. However, I found it better to use a LinearLayout oriented vertically, and then use the weight attribute to determine how much of the screen each component can occupy. It is a more dynamic design this way. I look forward to viewing more of your videos! Thanks!
Those videos are really really amazing !!! Keep it up, I am sure you are helping a lot of people! especially those who are beginners to android and especially those who are not familiar with google maps activities. Thank you so much !!!

I was able to follow all the videos but could not find any on how to create different map views (Normal, Satellite, Terrain, etc.) of the map via menu selection. Can you provide a bit of explanation on that?? I think I keep duplicating my codes using past examples from 2015. So far I was able to add all the maps item onto the menu using the tool bar, JVM refuse to cooperate.

I have made a video on that as well. Check it out. In that tutorial, I showed how to display nearby hospitals, schools and restaurants. If you already have the latitude and longitude of nearby hospitals then you can just create a for loop and add a marker on all the places.
Thanks a lot for this tutorial services! I feel your tutorials would be better if you could take a more organised approad like mentioning the steps at the start of each video before actually jumping into coding.

This is an issue that I ran into. If you guys aren't seeing any displays on 'Design' there is a known issue with library version 26.0.0-beta2 and Library version 28. To fix this, go to the style.xml and find where it says...parent="Theme.AppCompat....." then change it to...parent ="Base.Theme.AppCompat..." That is what worked for me, there may be other solutions as well. Thank you
