A few weeks ago I released a hero tier list following some play time on the current V0.19.1 update. You can find that video here: • New V0.19.1 Hero Tier ...
I decided to revisit this tier list and make changes following some comments, additional testing, and my advancement into a higher Elo of ranked play. We are about 2-3 weeks out from another balancing patch, so I thought it appropriate to keep everyone in the loop for the time being before Omega decides who they buff and nerf. As before, comment what changes you would make and where I have heroes incorrectly placed, keep in mind this is targeting the Silver-Gold Range of ranked play. Great video! 💪🏼 I just started playing today in fact and could hardly believe how awesome this game is!! I can’t wait to truly dive in and explore new champions. This gave me much guidance 💯

@@Lilskeevs Yeah truly no other 3rd person moba like it, glad you liked it. New hero tier list coming out soon, this one is a little outdated.

Sad to see a character like Revenant still down on the list but hopefully they can buff him im a sparrow/riktor kinda guy atm but would love to see some more bottom tiers get some love

@@mythiccmouse6214 Rev is more in line after this 1.0 patch, Rampage is alot better too. They have done a good job with balances recently, hopefully it will continue as new heroes are released. Look for an updated tier list soon as I've been play testing.

Isn’t a tier list below gold kind of pointless, as lack of skill and game awareness evens the playing field with hero’s pros/cons ?

@@rudy2shoes With ranked only being out for so long there is still a wide range of skill present at lower ranks. And, there are likely more people playing in Gold 3 and below then Gold 1 and above. Certain heroes are better in low skill or low game awareness, like Grux or Morigesh, while certain heroes shine more in high skill/awareness, like Gadget or Riktor. Making a tier list aimed at lower elo players is to give them an expectation of what they will see in ranked and who they should be picking to climb elo. I will also not be dishonest (like some creators) and say "this tierlist is for diamond and up" while they play in gold 2. I'm at the top of Silver 1 and climbing, this tierlist reflects my ranked experience and opinions.

shinbi is my go to solo laner. she is so safe and has so much sustain if you build her bruiser with orb of growth and some lifesteal. really good damage and nigh unkillable in 1v1 or even 1v2 situations. but I can see her being where she is. good video overall. im still in bronze because i dont get to play a lot but if i had to guess, I would probably be a high gold/low plat player once everyone settles in their ranks down the line

She has great mobility making her easy to play while ahead or behind, and safe finish potential with the ult. She just has a lot of competition at solo lane where a bruiser with more CC is really the meta right now, like Terra, Zarus, and Kwang. And yeah I'm sure there will be many more people like you or me who are just low on the ranked tree due to lack of games. In a few weeks, like following the Aug 20th full release, I would like to be in the upper gold range.

Shinbi is good, but provides no CC at all. It's a constant split pusher with Prophecy, Orb and Lifebinder. You won't be winning all 1v1 in higher MMR though, you can forget about that.

@@SageAtoreis I'm not like the usual cringe shinbi players who split push all game xD i tend to look for opportunities to go in on stragglers or just dive the enemy team and then quickly get out after doing good damage and applying healing reduction to all of them. If the enemy team has a bunch of CC, then I pick up Legacy and don't commit unless i have the passive up. Out of my few ranked games, I've gone against mostly gold rank Aurora and Terra players. Matchmaking seems a bit whacky, putting me and my friend who are still in bronze with a bunch of bronze and silver players, against silvers and golds xD Edit: i have only once built prophecy, and that was when i first played shinbi, buying recommended items xD

@@GoonsCove the only time Ive struggled as shinbi in recent memory would be whenever there's a kwang. But that's not a shinbi problem for me, i struggle against a good kwang player with every character xD That character seems to be my nemesis, I can't get the hang of his kit whatsoever and whenever i face someone who has figured out how to play him, I get my ass handed to me xD

@@FakeKaiki Maybe I wasn't clear enough. Prophecy/Typhoon and split pushing is actually very good on Shinbi. Cringe or not, it gives you wins. Pressure like that gives your team many opportunities, because someone need to go back and you can pressure another lane and force more and more people to defend.

Grux - Try to stun and kill Grux with Salvation, Legacy, Unbroken Will, Gaia Greaves and Absolution. 100% tanacity, 3sec CC immunity at 40%hp (120 sec cd), 25% damage mitigation and +40% movement on being immobilized (45sec cd), +25% physical and magical armor on being immobilized. 22% shield and 10% omnivamp at 40% hp (60sec cd). All that on top of very high raw HP and armor stats from those items.

@@SageAtoreis Grux sounds unstoppable with that build haha. I will have to try it. Glad someone understands how strong grux is.

@@raymondjimenez1753 You are correct, after 60% you do not recive any faster cc recovery time. But sometimes you may happen to build over that cap just for specific item passives.

@@raymondjimenez1753 I also wonder what's the math for Flux Matrix here. If you have 80% tenacity, then Flux is -20% and puts you at cap, or Tenacity over 60% doesn't count at all and flux puts you at 40% or maybe it's 20% of 60% (so -12%?). Anyway if building overcap counters Flux Matrix then its additional value to build overcap, because you can expect many CC Heroes to have that item.

@@masonbronson3194 Yeah I will work on it in the future. It would be a lot of individual items to stamp but I've been adding them on my newer videos. Still figuring everything out.
