I hate TD drivers, tbh... It's not just the AI exploits that get to me. It's also used as some sort of interference tool to other players. TD players don't have to worry about when to use break on a turn or positioning to align perfectly in a ramp... and so they don't worry about the speed penalties of trying to deliberately bump off other players. They use the TD AI to crash into other players without the speed penalties, and without wrecking themselves. A TD player approaching a fork road is a dangerous player since he can lean over to one side and then use TD to suddenly swerve over to the other side which would most likely bump you hurtling straight into an island and wreck, while they don;t have to face speed penalties due to the AI taking everything for them.
It's important to keep in mind that no matter the type of nitro you are using, the max top speed you will reach is always the same! So basically in a straight line it is USELESS to use perfect nitro! The single tap nitro will bring you to your max speed and it will least for way longer. (Great video tho, I did learn some useful things from your video!)
Idk if it changed since you commented this, but at least right now there is a difference for the top speed on different nitros. For example, I have the Saleen S1 with 2-star, and the top speed on the orange nitro is around 307 km/h, while the top speed on the perfect nitro is 319 km/h.
@@alexxnicastro the saleen s1 is a special car, there are a few cars in this game which have "perfect nitro boost" which means the top speed is a bit higher when using perfect nitro. Search for videos on yt if you wanna know which cars have that pn boost too
@@ccxgamerlynx TD is for players that are still not used to the game, so when they get better, they will not use TD that much or they will never use it again. So it's pretty useful for newbies.
ordinarygamer Nope. A lot of these “newbies” figured some exploits of TD. Often I wreck on a wall because some TD player swerves from another lane to get to a ramp. They know that sudden swerve will not cost them speed since the AI takes care of it, and they use that to push off other players. These people will never get out of TD for as long as it’s allowed in MP. TD frees up their mind to focus on other things like letting other players crash when they swerve while not having to worry about crashing. This isn’t for “noobs” anymore. TD is an exploit used by posers whose only focus is on getting ahead regardless of the crutch they have with the TD.
When I first started asphalt 9 I was only drifting and doing only shockwave but then after some months i found ur old how to go fast video once I watched it I went quickly to asphalt 9 I played some multi-player and then while waiting a asterion showed up I was so frightened cause I had a lower car and I thought I would lose but then I remembered ur video and the guide u taught me and I believed in my self and at start the asterion was winning but then I just zoomed past him with the shockwave but then he was still on my tail but I did the nitro brake trick and my nitro didn't run out and at the last moment he passed me but I looked up and I said that's it and then boooom I shockwaved and I knocked him and I won the race and I got 40 points up and I moved to platinum league. IM SO HAPPY THAT'S A MEMORABLE RACE THAT I WILL NEVER FORGET NOW FROM A NOOB I WAS BEFORE TO A PRO I AM NOW THANKS TO YOU FEURRM THAT WAS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE THANK YOU *FEURRMFILMS*💜💜💜💜💜
This is gonna be very helpful considering I'm now going from Asphalt 8 veteran to trying to figure out when and how to use 360's and shockwave boosts without getting knocked down, flying off the map, or crashing into walls.

Dude, my most sincere gratitude to you, this video is just what i was looking for. I am an Asphalt veteran but I was struggling to get the best times on the weekly competitions and I was wondering why, and now I know, I could never see when to use each of the nitros, I didn't knew if orange nitro was viable I always tried to avoid it as much as possible and I definitely didn't know the break+nitro trick. I hope this helps me get better results and improve my track times. I need to practice so much things now haha. Thank you so much.
Darrendays, I feel bad for you. When red was my favorite color I was sad about turning them purple too. Must be some weird glitch that makes you car better when you turn it purple.
Pretty good guide there. A bit of something that a couple of people know that might help: On the Frozen Route variant of the Himalayas, right after the long right turn, you'll see a ramp on the right. You could do a forced barrel roll there and go to the left. It's pretty risky because there's a ledge right in front of it, but it works for me most of the time.
It might help with MP and Career where you can land on other cars but in TLEs, since the ramp is on an upward incline, it makes you loose a lot of speed.
some of my friends ask me why i'm so good in Asphalt 9. i always say: just skills and that stuff. but it's mostly thanks to this video and Feuerrm in general

Thank you so much for this very informative video. I was stupid and only used perfect nitro all the time and spent all my free nitro at the beginning of every game. This video explains why I used suck at multiplayer games and only get top 100% in most event races.

this is really helpful, i've never really used double tap nitro and now i know the benefits of it, also trying not to use 360's coz it'll slow you down really helped in a lot of my races !!!

Not long ago I was trying to do a race with a requirement of doing 3 perfect nitros. I usually do double-tap nitros or shockwaves, so I had no idea what it even wanted me to do, so I had to look it up on RU-vid. I've gotten better since then, but this explains even more about nitros and those graphs at the beginning are really helpful. Also, shockwave seems to be the only kind of nitro that can knock out police cars.
This was the best guide i've seen in all of youtube. Thank you so much for teaching me. Now i win every single multiplayer race! I bet asphalt 89 would have watched this video too. I found the most interesting trick was the break nitro trick....:)
...and they say A8 requires more skill than A9.... Still can't do that Nile River rail trick well :( Out of 5 times in your cup only 2 succeeded...on others i either dropped out of the track or wrecked or just missed the whole thing X(

I am a A8 player and giving a 3rd try on this but this doesn't feel like a racing game... Even more with strange combos that just feel weird.. Brake and Nitro to keep speed and gain nitro?!?! The car seems like spiderman... But... Just to say that I love the way you edit this, pretty good to watch 😄 I would just add screen keys in the final race instead of trying to say everything yiu are doing. Good job
