I still have my crimper from the late 90s when I was a teen. Interchangeable plates n all :) and still works just goes to show they don't make things like they used to
I love your reviews and I know this review is older, but I have to say, I have fine hair and the L'Ange Le Volume works way better on my fine hair than the Revlon did. I have had mine for about 5 years now and had the Revlon before that. The Revlon got too hot for my fine hair and didn't dry it as quickly with that heat, just frizzed it. The L'Ange will get hotter, too so I use it on low. It gets so hot that the hair is too hot to handle on HI but on low I can use it without issue. You also aren't supposed to use the L'Ange on wet hair, but something like 80% air dry hair to avoid frizz according to their tutorials. I don't have young hair like yours so I have to keep heat and air dry in mind before I use heat tools. LOL! Mine would have been a fried mess at the end of this video using so many heat tools on it. About 15 years ago, it wouldn't have been an issue. My hair took a beating and still looked good. Side bar: The Le Duo works best if you use the fan feature on my fine straight hair because curls will last 2 days with this as opposed to my GHD flat iron where the curls are flat within 3 hours. great review!
I LOVE my LeWaver!! My waves last for at least 4 days... The only thing I'm not a fan of is it makes my hair smell burned!! And I have allot of their hair care product, the smells are NOT nearly ás nice as others I've used!! I've probably spent at least $1000 on all the stuff I have bought, in the last 8mon or so...
The waiver is good when u have extreme thin hair or after u have lost a lot of hair…..it used to give the appearance of more hair and volume. That’s why many people use it dear.
Don’t get lange!! They are overpriced and don’t worth a penny. Very cheaply made, haircare products are full of alcohol and they will damage your hair.
The reason for the fan is it curls and sets therefore the curls last longer just in case you didn’t already know this info, thank you so much for your tutorials I have saved a ton of money by watching your channel
Can you do a review of the Lange Duo Grande? Also I’m between choosing a Kristin Ess straigtener/curler and a Lange Duo Grande and I wanted an honest opinion…love your honesty and your videos!
I’m so glad you made this because I have been eyeing the le duo but I’m suspicious of all the reviews saying it’s perfect. I trust you because you’re honest.
Please don’t buy lange. They lie to you. Generic products just putting their tag on it. Also stay away from the haircare products. You can tell by their non-ending sales
Kristine Sargsyan i personally just started using their shampoo for curly hair after having issues with a really oily one I bought from Sally’s and I’m happy to report that my hair feels 100% more clean from the excess buildup and grease I’ve had in my hair for well over a month. Still trying out L’ange products but so far I’m pretty happy with my purchases. I had previously had a lot of cheaper hair tools and I’m getting a lot better results with the new tools I purchased at a discounted price for their anniversary sale.
I liked the revlon dryer but it was so much louder I switched to Lange much quieter and not as hot. I wanted less heat because my hair is soooooooo fine and dries fast.
It’s ok we want honest opinions I like the le duo I own both crimper le waver and the bed head adjustable. I like that u can adjust it. But it’s bulky wish L’ange had an adjustable one . Don’t own the le volume. I like the reviews that u did on the hot tool one vs revlon video.
The Le Duo is great for shorter hair. It's so easy to use and the exterior never gets super hot. It's also really light. I have problems with my wrist that made using a full size straightener/curling iron so uncomfortable. The Le Duo makes it a pleasure to style my hair.
I have both the Revlon and the L’ange hair dryer brushes. I got each of them on really good sale prices. I use the Revlon for travel- even though I got it on sale, I still don’t want to risk losing or breaking the L’ange. The l’ange is definitely quieter and doesn’t get as hot. We just got home from a two week cruise and I was washing and drying my hair much more frequently than usual. I noticed that using the Revlon that often left me with dried out frizzy ends by the end of the trip. And I was using a leave in conditioner and heat protectant. I’ve never had that happen with the l’ange. So, the Revlon now is for shorter trips. I like them both, but the L’ange is definitely better for my hair.
I’m glad someone finally said it! Their products and tools are not worth the money! Definitely others out there that do better styling and with better price tags!
I love that you are reviewing this. When I bought them the only reviews were done by the L’ange product reps. With that being said I have all three of those products and absolutely love them. I can get so many different curls depending on how I’m holding my hands, and the clip is perfect for people like me with arthritis in their hands. The waver is super quick and the hot brush really makes my hair smooth. Thanks again for doing this video.
I use the Lange 2 in 1 brush dryer and it works so well on my hair. I have thin fine hair and it gives me so much volume and makes my hair soo smooth !
I just bought the brush dryer last week. It's AMAZING! I have thick gray hair I'm growing out. It's 2/3 out. When I use the dryer brush & the Le Duo Grand, the curls stay in 2 days. And my curls usually fall out hours after it's done.
Can you do a video on how you clean your hair tools? Especially something like the Revlon... i find mine gets build up on it and then makes my hair feel gross the next time i use it.
Do you find the Le Duo rips out your hair ? I do . I’m totally disappointed with it . I bought it in a hurry at Ulta last night cuz they were closing soon . And I wasted my 20% off on it be getting the credit card . So now if I take it back , I won’t get 20-% off a new tool .
I have been killing myself because I just bought the le duo 360 and I am not loving it I'm actually feeling like it was a waste of money and I would rather use my curling wand. I've used I've watched countless videos of how to curl how to hold it and I just cannot get it to curl my hair plus it pulls a ton of strands out. I bought it because my hair is very difficult to hold a curl...like they start falling out within the hour no matter what I try. Read some reviews where they said this would hold hold them in....just can't get it to curl with this at all!
I’m sooo happy some one finally said it!!! Lange isn’t that great!!!!! They just choose to use influencers to push their products sooo of course someone getting paid to say it’s nice will say it!
I have the Revlon and I also have the L’ange. My hair is fine textured and for that reason I like the L’ange because the Revlon gets so crazy hot! Even on cool setting the are Lon is still warm. The L’ange does not seem to damage hair
I’ve wondered about the Le Duo and Girl you saved me $$$. Thanks for the review on these tools. I did buy the Revlon one step last year because of your review. Other than it being very hot, i do love it!💗
I love the le duo it gets me perfect beachy waves every time ... it’s better than a straightener becasue it stays closed without having to hold it which makes curling so much easier
I have the Foxybae flat iron! i’ve had it for about 5 years and it’s still the best purchase i’ve made! i use it for straightening, S waves, and curling! i got mine on sale, but now what i know, i would have paid full price! for reference, i do have shorter hair and it’s on the finer side!
I have bought several of their tools and hair care always at buy one get one free or sometimes even on a buy $50 of hair care and a hot tool free. I've actually like everything. I'm most impressed with the hair care. They have a keritine treatment that's amazing. You spray in towel dried hair in sections leave it for 12 minutes and wash out since I started bleaching my whole hair to platinum it has kept it in perfect condition. I highly recommend it to anyone who has dry or processed hair its the best hair treatment I've ever used even better than those expensive salon treatments. If you get stuff on their really good sales I'd say its worth it , not full price though. They have after pay which always gets me.
I have the Revlon and the smaller Lange 2-1 styler because I have short hair. I found that the bristles in the Lange fall out all over. Other than that, it does the job. However, I love my Revlon. It does dry my hair faster and doesn't pull as hard. Thank you for your honest reviews!
I found this particular video of yours out of luck just now, & thank goodness I did! I have a 2-in-1 straightener & it's made just like the one you're using (minus the air-flow part). I could only figure out how to use it to curl like I would a straightener, but you just showed me how I can use it like a curling iron as well! It's not the same brand, but it's made the exact same; except mine is not small - it's regular size. Thank you, thank you!!
You have saved me with that Revlon hairdryer it is awesome saves me so much time super late as I have an issue with my arm and has made me be able to style my hair and have the option to do curls wash and go or sleek straight style again thank you so much. Honest Reviews are the best I’ve tried many of the products you suggested because you tell 100% truth pros and cons
I have a Red By Kiss Dry & Style straightening comb. I loved it in wet mode, but my dominant shoulder deteriated, so had to stop using it to drt hair. One day going to get soft bonnet hair dryer. In meanwhile, air drying it.
I love some of their tools but I never ever pay full price. Usually I get them around Christmas for the best prices and got a few free to try it out by buying products I wanted. But I did buy the Revlon brand and you are right about it getting really really hot! I bought it because of your review from Amazon❤️
I have several items from L’ange including le’vite straightening brush, titanium ondule wand, aplatir (hot iron). I’m not a fan of any of them. The straightening brush the first time I used it worked pretty well and I was impressed ever since the first time it does not make my hair smooth, It actually makes it frizzy. The wand has no cover on the tip so I burned myself twice using it and I won’t use it again, and the hot iron really doesn’t straighten my hair that well , it makes it frizzy! I have wavy, frizzy hair The intention on using these tools is to smooth it out but it does not happen on my hair. I bought the Revlon brush hairdryer and that works much better and for so much cheaper. I do have their other hair care products and some of those are decent but overall I think it’s a hype, from my experience with the products.
The Revlon is amazing! It does get hot quickly. I use the highest power for the thickest part of my hair, then turn it down to low. It also has a cool setting if it gets too hot, good for the very fine strands in the front. Ulta has it on sale a couple of times a year; I bought mine at half price for $30! But I came here to see the L'ange duo and so glad I did before I spent that kind of crazy money! Can honestly get a similar look with a regular $20 curling iron with my hair at least.
I have long hair (about mid back), have medium thickness hair, and 2c type texture. I like the titanium plates on the le duo. I generally don’t love curling irons and prefer to do curls with my straightener. The size of the plates are literally the same as my old Chi I was replacing. Since the bottom is closed my hair didn’t fall out of the plates as easily. I straightened my whole hair and it did a great job. It was nice not needing to keep the plates closed. Another plus in my opinion is that the plates sit completely flush with each other (w/o added pressure). Traditional straighteners tend to have a gap towards the back and require pressure to eliminate.
Your LeDuo might be broken? My air flow is strong. I love mine! It’s ultra smooth on the outside and never tugs. The size is no different than my Chi. I have small hands so anything big is too much for me. Mine has nothing visible that suggests a rushed job in manufacturing. I have very thick, somewhat coarse hair... and a lot of it. Mine works nicely! My Revlon tool never works well for me - I think my hair is too thick. Thank you for your review 😊Your hair is always so pretty.
Im telling you this at the beginning but I remember when you last tested them- honestly I love Lange. I don’t think all their products are for everyone but the hair care is amazing. They have a hair mask that literally makes my hair feel amazing. I have hair that is between my bra strap and my waist in length and a lot of their hair products keep my hair healthy. I use my hot tools or revlon for a blow out (or my air wrap) and then I use their curling wands on day 3 hair. Those curls last me the next 3-4 days. It’s amazing. I can’t speak to the flat irons or hot brush but yah some of their products are really good!
I bought my Revlon before they were popular at Ulta around Christmas time and it was 1/2 off. Then last year I thought to give the Hot Tool replica of the Revlon a try it was on sale and I received the waver free which I have never fused my hair is not long enough, I agree with you on that. L'anege is not one I've even heard about. Thanks for this review Love your Chanel!
I’m glad you reviewed the le volume and compared it. I’ve been wanting one but couldn’t get myself to spend that much on it. I’ll definitely go for the rev.
Same! I just learned of lange in the last 1-2 weeks. The Le volume really caught my eye, but that price tag😬 did you end up getting the revlon? If so, how do you like it?
I had the revlon one and it didn’t do nearly as well as the L’ange but my hair is super thick and super curly. I feel like the L’ange is more powerful in my opinion. But I love your videos and your hair!!
Thank you for your honesty Milana!!! Don't ever feel bad about telling the absolute truth! I bought the Revlon volumizer based on your original video about it and love it. I've had it for a few years now and it's still just as good as day one. You do have to make sure that you are using a heat protectant, but other than that it's insane how good it is.
I got the la-waver and the la-volume. I love them both. I searched your page for a review but it was about a month before this one lol I was really torn between the la-volume and the Revlon. But I'm glad I got the la-volume because of the lower heat and the titanium plate. I love both the la-volume and the la-waver and I would highly recommend them. I got them for buy one get one 60% off which made them around $60 each with tax and shipping. Not bad. I was way more worried about the long term damage to my hair over the speed of drying.
Thank you for this video, because I almost drank the L'ange koolaid. The difference is clearly visible between the two. Revlon performed so much better.
Yes I want to see her review head kandy too!!!! I want a comparison of lange's "Le volume" vs head kandy's "commitment issues" . Have you ever tried anything by head kandy?
I’ve never scene the big white iron crimping before I have bed head been trying to find this product but I can’t looks like beautiful mermaid waves mine does the same but different brand,..... I love the white one and the waves are so beautiful... Thank you for the wave video❤️❤️💙🧡🧡❤️💜💜🌸💕🧡❤️🤍🤍
I have theLe Duo Grand. I got it on a BOGOF sale. Gave other to my daughter for Xmas. She has long hair. I have hair a bit past shoulder. It's thick & I've grown out my gray 2/3 the way. It's the ONLY thing that's ever kept curls in my hair. But after using the Le Duo, the curls stay in 2 days. And that was without even using product in it.
I have a hot brush styler and it's great for smoothing hair ( dead cheap in Lidl...you probably don't have it in the states). My hairdresser cut my hair too short recently and I want something to curl my hair...I was going to go for 3 barreled styler...am definately NOT now as I don't like that crimpy result! Thanks for that you have saved me £50...!! I have never mastered the curling with straighteners...Think I will revisit that after watching your brilliant technique.
