AN 22 and AN 124/225 was designed by Russian enginer Viktor Tolmachev in Ulyanovsk plant ( Russia), Antonov was a Russian company which was moved to Kiev ( Ukraine)
Ukraine does not have its own production of aircraft. There are only those that remained after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Even painted flags of Russia.
@Yaroslav Hoshii Antonov, the aircraft designer, is Russian and was born near Moscow. This aircraft is an achievement of the USSR, Ukraine has no merit in this matter. When it becomes obsolete , there will be nothing to brag about
IL-76 is not a Ukrainian aircraft. It was built in the USSR and now the Ilyushin Aviation Complex is located in Moscow. Founded in 1933. Serially produced in Uzbekistan at the V. P. Chkalov Tashkent Aviation Production Association. In 2010, production was officially transferred to the Ulyanovsk Aviastar-SP. Antonov AN-22, Antonov AN-124 were built not in Ukraine, but in the USSR and are now produced at the aircraft building plant in Ulyanovsk by Aviastar-SP JSC.
@Yaroslav Hoshii Where is the decision of the European court? And how many AN aircraft have been built in Ukraine and in Russia now? This is really funny🤣
@Yaroslav Hoshii Aviastar-SP JSC is a part of United Aircraft Corporation PJSC and has nothing to do with Antonov State Enterprise. There are no licenses and cannot be. In the USSR - Antonov Serial Plant, In Ukraine - SE "Antonov", In Russia - Aviastar-SP JSC. These are different enterprises with different production capacities!
@Yaroslav Hoshii AN is not Ukrainian, but Soviet. Now it is produced by those countries that have the right to produce it, and this is not only Ukraine.
@Yaroslav Hoshii But it is so. Go to court. European. The European Court will send you, galitsaev, far and for a long time. AN is a Soviet and Russian company, live with it. Wipe your ass license.
@@MrRoninGT "AN is not Ukrainian, but Soviet." - not soviet, but Russian (Russian Bolshevism). USSR is just a coat given to Russia for a limited period of time. Ukraine is Russia. State "elites" of traditional colonial powers (including USA, UK, Germany, France etc.) consider all people of USSR as Russians. All industry projects like aerospace were required by Russia - not by its specific territories (like Ukraine or Kazakhstan) on their own. There was a citizenship of USSR. There was no citizenship of Ukraine, Georgia etc.
Today Ukraine is a bankrupt country; there is practically no transport aviation in Ukraine. Almost all of Antonov and Ilyushin's aircraft were made and are being manufactured and operated in Russia today.
Ukraine has its own production of aircrafts and they are currently working on the new AN 178 planes. Some of them have been already produced ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JSWOt3Oceq8.html P.S. Ukraine has a historically high GDP and can produce transport aircraft without Russian components, while Russian economy is in decline and they have problems in the production of transport aircrafts without Ukrainian components ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uDJ4Ukl5H3Y.html
That may be, but Antonov is now owned by Ukraine and Russia has now no control of them, especially after the 2014 invasion of Crimea. So all the Antonovs in Russian military has no spare parts. And Russia can't even build them again if they want to.
Brazil makes great planes. I wish my country, South Africa, bought the AMX A1 instead of the BAe Hawk Mk20 and the Super Tucano instead of the Pilatus PC7.
While not the biggest, the C-130 Hercules is by far the most significant military transport aircraft ever made. It first flew in 1954! Over 2500 have been produced and it’s still in production. The current production model is C-130J Super Hercules.
Hey fellow people, just telling you all why Antonov-225 is not included, it's because the plane is a "Specially" built aircraft, and there is ONLY one that is operational, well if Antonov decided to make another AN-225, then MAYBE Antonov can set it to a Military Transport airplane, that's the reason
Tu-224? This one has still to be developed. 😂 I think you are speaking of the An-225 or An-124, aren't you? And the criteria of 'big' in this video obviously is payload capacity, not lenght.
@Yaroslav Hoshii
very good video, but the topic of the Antonovs (22/124-255) you should have omitted them even though the video was before the Russian special operation, because by that date many of the Antonovs in the world were inoperative or decommissioned, the same AN-255 did not qualify for insurance companies, so Ukraine could no longer market it without the technical licenses that came from Russia.
Il-76 is soviet, but Russia is still producing improved version of it. So, now its russian. In the same time i think it would be correct to refer An-22 and An-124 to USSR, cause modern Ukraine hasn't produce any of these planes.
@Yaroslav Hoshii i'm happy for "Antonov" company, but i talking about planes, which produced in USSR in close cooperation with Russian republic. I will say more: Russia produced 33 An-124 till 1995, Ukraine - 17. More over, all serial An-22s produced in Uzbek republic in cooperation with many soviet manufactories, include ukranian and russian. Thats why both planes correctly call soviet, not ukranian or russian.
@Yaroslav Hoshii it doesn't matter, who have license now. If China will buy license but will not build plane, the plane will be chinese in your opinion? After USSR nobody produced it by itself. I refer the plane to the country that designed and built it, Ukraine is not such country, it is a region of that, which became heiress. Ukraine have a rights, it's true. So you're welcome to build ukrainian planes, but does Ukraine able to do this? Thats is the question.
@Yaroslav Hoshii Ukraine can start production of An-124 without any problems? Well, how many planes Ukraine produced for last 6 years without Russia? And how many of them An-178, which producing now, according to your words?
@Yaroslav Hoshii pretty funny reaction on harmless question. Cuba got all An-158s to 2015. Only An-178 produced in 2015 too. And i asked about last 6 years from 2015 to novadays, when Russia stopped taking part in production of these planes. Replaced Russian parts, you said? Ok. So, how many planes was built without Russian parts? Four month ago i saw 5 unfinished An-178 without any equipment in ukrainian news. And now you talk, 4 of them already "made" while all sources say "Number built - 1"?😏 Against of background such problems with production of light and medium aircrafts, your confidence in production super heavy An-124 by Ukraine without any problems raise doubts, as minimal.
@Yaroslav Hoshii first of all, you said "are made", not "in production", two different meanings. The second - i asked about produced planes, you said "are you stupid?" and wrote about unfinished fuselages "waiting for the turn" plans and "replacement". Seriously?..... In a simple words: Ukraine made 0 planes since 2015. You can go up to drop cow cakes, vyshivatnik, but Ukraine not able produce now such planes like An-158, An-178 and fortiori An-124. There is such problem with ships. Ukrainian air fleet is old, it requires an update immidiately. In the same time, according to you, Ukraine can produce planes easy, just need an order. Who believes in this nonsense?
All the Antonov aircrafts were engineered, developed and built in cooperation with Russian expertise and kept the name in honor to its founder Antonov during the Soviet era. Had Ukraine not become a stooge of the US and West nor hostile with Russia it would have been able to develop its economy and its own aircraft industry in cooperation with Russia. Ukraine just stupidly killed itself by believing in the US and the West to go after Russia.
Not all former Soviet aircraft makers were relocated to the Ukraine. Ilyushin is a different company than Antonov. You need to pay more attention! Sergey Ilyushin was born in Russia and died in the then Soviet Republic of Russia. The Ilyushin aircraft company was founded in 1933 in Moscow where its headquarters are still located, and since 2006 it's part of the aviation conglomerate OAK, which is largely under the control of the Russian state.
the problem is that the an 124 is not as versatile as the galaxy the American device has the advantage of saving a lot of fuel and landing on poorly prepared runways and its range is greater! But Antonov is famous for having very high quality aircraft and the Xian Y-20 is a Chinese version of the Ilyushin Il-76 with something else ...
An124: I'm the best transport ever of 2021! An224: but but I'm still here you know :( No one remember An224? Biggest transport plane to fly with he soviet airforce?
Hi, I'm not complaining but the antonov 225 should be the first because it has a payload capacity of 250 tons and it is the largest plane in the world except blimps
Vejam o Brasil nesta lista.
@abdullah sadaqatali ya it is not a millitary transport aircraft .it was built by Soviet Union for special purpose . only one unit has been built till now it is used as a cargo transporter aircraft
The Soviet Union built it to carry the Buran space shuttle due to its large size, meaning that the Antonov 225 was primarily built for military purposes, but after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the aircraft was converted to civil service and the huge and giant air cargo operations
@@tammamalsharani2596 space shuttle is meant for carrying astronauts to space how it will become millitary purpose and it was also not produced more than one
