This is just a promotion game for the MCU , no X-Men , all characters from the Capcom side were already in UMVC3, all new characters from the Marvel side are all form the MCU
@@ibrahimwalker321 Well technically speaking, yes and no Ghost Rider was a main character in season 4 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, but whether that show is even canon to the MCU is still debatable And I haven't seen the movie yet, but apparently the end credits scene for the Venom sequel hints at him appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home Sooooo yeah, this game is totally just Capcom vs MCU
Yeah cause Ghost Rider and Venom are in the MCU. But also post 2008 everything is going to be inspired by the MCU with how popular it is. It's good that we got a game at all with all the issues they had with licensing
Gameplay wise, it was prettt fun. However, the game roster was the only thing disappointed me the most. A lot of fan favorites characters were excluded and the newer ones are just dlcs, including the ones from story (Sigma, Black Panther and MH). So disappointed.
@@ErebusHellhound im still annoyed by how 1/2 of your story's main villain is dlc but the other 1/2 is part of the launch roster, especially when both of them are brand new to the marvel vs capcom franchise
the voice acting annoys me quite considerably here because infinite used the many of the previous actors doing the same characters from umvc3 but here, they sound flat and boring as hell
@@keyblader2k6 They used the current cast from the animated shows, which are all pretty mediocre in terms of everything, so of course it's gonna sound bad here as well. Not to mention the cartoon voices just don't mesh well with the MCU designs.
Imagine, if you will, that instead of simply saying, “my arrows,” Hawkeye said, “No matter how hard you try, you can’t escape from the Hawkeye!” Yeah, I know that sounds cheesy, but it’s loads better than him NOT rhyming during his Level 3.
This game angers me just because there was so much potential and yet stubbornness from both Marvel and Capcom prevented this game from being as great as UMVC3.

If they had those DLC Characters in the game at launch (especially since half of em are already in the story in some form) I think the game would have done a lot better. It wouldn't have fixed everything, but I would have actually preordered it instead of getting it 2 years later on a holiday sale. It's just such a bummer because the gameplay is solid, and I personally prefer 2 on 2 matches. Oh well, hopefully in a few years they'll try again.
I think they'll try again. Someone already said this, but I think Thanos will temporarily "kill" Death using that Satsui no Hado, and that will cause instability in the Marvel vs Capcom universe. This will give them excuse to add more characters, and hopefully there will be 2v2 and bring back 3v3 for MvC2 fans

There's something about the way characters fall to the ground just totally flat with zero bounce, like all momentum is lost, looks so flat and awful. It makes it seem like the hits have even less impact, like, getting smashed down to earth by a superhero and the body just goes thunk like a sack of bricks
Most of characters in MvC2 are from X-Men and characters here are from Avengers. I'm hoping the next sequel would include these 2 teams and all characters since X-Men Children of the Atom.
I remeber buying this and was really excited. Worse thing that can happen in my OP for a game is differnt button layout. 😵😵. I've played all the other MVC games since I was a kid and it's always been the same button layout. I was furious with the game took it back the next day for store credit.
No X-men, only 2 players instead of 3, bad voice acting, only 4 power bars, and some of the ultra moves suck ass. In MvC3 iron-man did 68 damage with 3 bars, and now only does 25, omg
I still like this game because of X. I know it's the near worst MVC game and lack of X-Men character like Wolvirine, but i said it again i still even like this game.
I dont know, i bought the deluxe edition a few days ago and with the dlc characters and costumes and alternate color references at least i don´t feel it "incomplete" and its hella fun. I think the hate was overexaggerated and the fact that this game "lost" to DBFZ even before realeased became a meme and an installed idea. But damn as a DBFZ fan i gotta say the game is even more lacking than MVCI in a lot of aspects: To begin with, most of half the roster is DLC, they only added 1 new stage after all these years of fans asking for more, they never released new costumes, the story mode was a pain in the ass due to the boarding game system implemented. I played it once and never touch it again because of how tedious it was. And the arcade mode doesn´t give you any ending either. The game doesn´t even have a library or collection mode which is just a detail but a nice one. I mean when i play DBFZ is just combat and thats it, there is really anything else aside from the visuals which of course are gorgeous. But i feel everything that was a bad thing in MVCI was ignored or forgiven in DBFZ which of course is unfair: the dlc practices, the lack of basic characters, the first initial small roster, arcade mode with no endings, the music just like in MVCI has some good tracks but most is just generic, etc.
What I like the most about the game is that it has a cool and long story mode I mean for a fighting game is very rare to find that in other games in this genre.the bad thing is the arcade mode doesn't have endings.compare to UMVC3 one has the other one lacks.
U need to buy them. TBH, the game is already dead. The gameplay is good but the rest... I would consider putting Your money to sth else. Who knows, maybe someday we will get MvC 4 that does the series justice.
When it comes to Capcom characters more love and attention went into them. Marvel characters feel like the the most surface level basic moves it's like those casual people who know who thinks ironman is the guy wih the repulser ray and unibeam. Like all marvel characters are given far less tools to play with than Capcom. Take dante for example. This dude literally has moveset from all his weapons and abilities from dmc3 and his moveset is by far the most dense and diverse. And some characters are given new tools that they previously didn't have. Like ryu doing vertical hadoken and on air haduken. And yet for some inexplicable reason iron man can't do proton canon in air. The guy who can fly??? Iron man has by far the fewest movesets. When if u take notes from Dante's book iron man should have the biggest arsenal of weapons and diverse moveset. For a comic fan first like me it's disappointing to say the least. People who say this has the best marvel representation in gaming really don't have any idea about marvel or hell even watch marvel movies or shows. Comics doesn't even exist for them. I know why Capcom did this. Because in all honesty if marvel characters had the most flashiest movesets most players wouldn't even pick any Capcom characters. They had to make Capcom characters look cooler than marvel characters. Because mvc has a bigger fan base than most fighting game simply because it has marvel characters. U have a whole comic fans as customers. Don't believe me?? Look at what fortnite did. I never touched fortnite until they did a marvel season at that time i couldn't handle it had to give in. same goes for the anime inclusion in that game cause so many people that i know only started playing fortnite because they added either naruto or Goku.
Im glad to see im not the only one that thinks that this version of mvc is worse than the 3rd fate of two worlds imo the graphics looks very stiff and not right to me am i saying its terrible? No im just saying compared to the comic book art style of mvc3 this games looks bad and don't get me started on the voice acting iron man sounds like he didn't care dormammu went from sounding absolutely perfect to very raspy and just eww 😂 but i love mvc3 way better

Remember when Disney Removed Marvel vs capcom 3 or Ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 physical copies when they bought the rights to the Marvel franchise and replace it with the Disney Infinity toy line that it's just a Skylanders wanna be XD and put back the Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Ultimate back as a Digital purchase
The Marvel line up sucks. There are many characters that deserve to be in this game like Agent Zero, Deadpool, Cable, Omega Red, Moon knight, Longshot (this character has super agility and created to fight in arenas), etc. I didn't even see Wolverine.
This games sound and visuals are just so boring. Some characters sound be more quiet and others should be louder. Like could they not take a second take?
