Hello! My name is Janixa and I'm a happily married mom of twins from the Chicago suburbs. I found a true passion in nail polish and I love sharing it with others. I loved watching your nail room tour and how well organized it is. Those Ikea cubes are awesome for displaying your polishes on the acrylic racks. Love the Essie wall and seeing the polishes in all the drawers. I keep my top coats, base coats, and cuticle oils separate from my polishes too. This was so much fun! TFS!

Wow the nail polish wall is amazing!!! If you haven't figured out what those Zoyas are yet, I'm almost positive the light purple is Abby and the more neon one looks like it might be Charisma, no idea on the other 2 lol. I love seeing other people's set ups because I'm so nosey 😂

What a beautiful setup, and I love how u display every polish, I had a few of those acrylic shelves I used regularly but now most of my collection is on metal polish wall racks.... Silly question but, can u share your lighting setup for filming, I’m struggling to get accurate lighting in my videos and would love any tips u can give, thanks for sharing

I think your Zoyas look the prettiest in the display shelves, I don't know why. Coming from a neatnik (someone who obsesses about cleaning), do you ever have to dust your bottles? And have you experienced any changes or degradation in color in the bottles that are getting exposed to light? I've heard that can happen over time, so I store my polish in closed boxes with lids (no dust) in my closet, away from light. But I love the look of seeing all the colors on display!

I have dusted them here and there. Luckily, my room doesn’t get very “dusty”. As for them being exposed to light. They’re rarely in light at all. My room is dark 95% of the time. I don’t open my curtains.

I just got an acrylic nail polish stand and I love the display of all the pretty colours! Why don't you support Lights Lacquer anymore? I don't know the story if there is one... And how do you reach the Essie's all the way up the top?!?

Is the nourishing elixir dupe that you’re talking about the new mooncat primer? I just tried it recently and I’m really loving it! Excited to keep using it. I was wondering if you wore/liked mooncat. I’ve been loving so many of their polishes lately 😊

Janixa, have you tried any of the "Pleasing" brand polishes? I'm not into the boy bands, but Harry Styles seems to have assembled an amazing design team! The bottles look like chess pieces with marble-stone caps. And the colors I've seen swatched are really classy. One layer and done! I am getting the best deals in resale markets but they are hard to find...🙏🏼

I'm not judging you. I also have a drawer of topcoats, and base coats. As well as a drawer of cuticle care products. I also have a pedicure supply drawer...You are not alone. :)

Did you live in Indiana too? I lived there for about 3 years and went to a small branch of Indiana Wesleyan in Merrillville. Bible Bowl sounds wild though. 😂😂

@@naillacquertherapy nope, I just went to a Wesleyan youth group that traveled for competitions. It was just a quiz bowl. I joined because all my friends were doing it and going on these trips and I didn’t want to be left out lol.

Yes, any tinted base coat can stain with prolonged use. Binder turned my nails yellow/orange.

How does someone who owns thousands of bottles of nail polish actually determine which ones she “isn’t reaching for”? You could do a different manicure every single day and still go for years without using most of them.

Lol sounds odd huh? I generally try to reach for a different brand each time I paint my nails. So, I realized that I never reached for Sally Hansen so I got rid of the majority of them.
