Oh my gosh... 😭 This is the funniest and sweetest video memorial of Paul that I've seen yet! Thank you so much for this. I am absolutely certain that he would have loved it as well! 💕🦇
Saraaaahhh! This was so fun, thank you so much for having me! I had a blast and actually learned a lot. Mostly, this is a beautiful tribute to an inspiring icon. Paul would love you and the work that you are doing. You’re honoring his memory beautifully by gifting us all with your unique creativity 🩷
you're not alone, i cried too. when i heard paul reubens passing away, the news hit me really hard. it was like losing a best friend. pee wee herman is a childhood hero of mine. i loved his tv show and movie. thank you, pinup palmer for making this great tribute video. 🙂❤
Ohhhhh this was bitter sweet. I watched Pee Wee growing up Saturday mornings. It was sad to hear Paul Reubens passed. You did such an amazing job with this video honoring him. You had me laughing and tearing up! Thanks to Liz and Brittnee helping you make this. I had fun going down memory lane with y’all! 🖤
This couldn’t of been done any better. You clearly adored PR. Anybody that admires this quality of comedy is a very special human. Also your beauty is so ridiculously beautiful!!!! Pay no mind to that man behind the curtain. ……., greetings from La Crescenta, Ca. The great and powerful Ozz has spoken!!!
This is so sweet. He was so fun! I was lucky enough to get my own children into Pee-Wee before he passed. My 6 year old was in the car with me when we heard they announced it on the radio. She asked me “Mama, is there gonna be another Pee-Wee?” No baby, no there’s not.
A few yrs back I got my son a Big PeeWee Vintage Ventriloquist dummy and he's been obsessed with Him which I love cause I grew up loving peewee, and I was so brokenhearted to hear of pauls passing and still haven't yet told my son yet of it ,he's a ASD 8yr old and I can't handle seeing his heart break ontop of myn being broken from it. So glad you did this ❤ it's wonderful thankyou.
I saw Pee Wee’s Big Adventure in the theatre when it opened (yeah, I’m old)! I was an instant Pee Wee fan for many similar reasons as you. He taught us how to keep our childlike attitude and that it was okay to be yourself and be different from the norm. You encapsulated the very essence of his character! What a beautiful tribute to Paul Reubens. Your editing is always perfect in your final product, and your humor is fantastic! You three; you, Liz, and Brittnee were great! Looking forward to (hopefully) more adventures(?) with you three! ❤️🩶🖤
Very warmly and thoughtfully done, with sweet synchronicities no less!!! So lovely that you're hanging with your buds and P too (something I've been doing lately also)! Pee-Wee is our angel fae sending you his prankster blessings
I loved Pee Wee! I did not discover him until much recently in life but Paul's delivery of the character was truly amazing. On a side note - you look fantastic!
Thank you ! And same! I don’t saw his movie as a kid but peewees playhouse was off the air in 91 when I was born so it became a later thing for me too!
My mother LOVED Pee Wee and she shared that love with me and he became such an important part of my life. She passed away when I was 14 and Pee Wee was one of the things that kept me connected to her. Whenever I miss her I can put on Pee Wee's Big Adventure or watch an episode of Pee Wee's Playhouse and think of her. One of the last live events I went to before the pandemic was the 35th Anniversary of Big Adventure with a special appearance by Paul after the film. I wish I could have shared that experience with her.
You went over the top with this one babe. What a beautiful tribute to Paul. ❤ It's like it was meant to be for you to have gone to Cinespia and the WB lot !!! So cool! As always, it's always so much fun to do these with you. I had such a fun time.
This was super delightful, an incredible tribute, and I learned some things I can’t believe I didn’t know that make me in awe of Paul even more. And I can’t believe part of Pee Wee’s Big Adventure was shot at the park I love visiting most days of the week! Oh! And you’re crazy magical in all these ways and I don’t even understand, just 🤘😔
I used to watch this movie all the time with my kids when they were little! We loved it and your video was great. I also love visiting filming locations
I have watched this movie litetally over 500 times! I used to work at a local grocery store chain in Chicago "da Jewels" and i would do the store closing announcement over the store loudspeaker in pee wees' voice every night!
This was too dang cute, thank you! I so rarely make it out to LA, I don't know when I'll have the chance to visit these places and it warms my heart to see the tributes. Pee Wee and this movie mean so much to me...I have never sobbed over a celeb like I have for Paul (my husband thought I had lost a limb). I had the opportunity to truly connect with my inner PW and do a tribute Playhouse PinUp shoot at Atomic Cheesecake Studios in Baltimore this past May - she made an epic set and I sewed my own take on his classic Glenn Plaid suit. Hoping to recreate the hitch-hiking scene at some point myself. I was thrilled to see Big Adventure on the big screen this past Wednesday for the first time since it came out when I was 5 (many subsequent in-home watches between now and then!).
Awww I LOVE this! I've been thinking of him non-stop. It's a hurt I don't think will ever fully heal. Thank you for this! It's the kind of video I wish I could have done location-wise. I love that you brought your Pee-wee along for the ride. 😁
Every weekend when i went to my fathers house i would watch Pee Wee.. I lost my dad the same year Paul passed away.. Two heros that i lost in one year.. Rest easy to my father and Paul , aka ... Pee Wee
Pee Wee, Elfman, and Burton have shaped me and the way I view and live in the world. That combo of darkness and humor just move me. Hell Pee wee got me to take a road trip to Texas from Indiana just to look for the basement.
This is the best location video I’ve seen period! Very well put together… I’m glad I stumbled across your channel… and your retro look is stunningly beautiful… I’m sure you hear that often lol … anyways , thank you for the content and have a rad day !
I just don't have the words to express how outstanding this is! It made me cry, but also smile think of all the joy Paul Reubens brought into our lives. Thank you for sharing your incredible talents to create such a beautiful, heartwarming, and touching tribute. Take care.
I missed you darlin love you keep the videos coming honey you make me smile and happy, he was a part of my life as well so I know how you feel honey❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Why a great video - thanks so much Pinup ! Rip - I just picked up my first pee wee doll awhile Ago and I’m glad I can look at it and be reminded of simpler times as a Child in the 80s 🎉cheers
When I found out Paul had passed, I instantly started crying. Paul played a big part in my life and everything that he was in was ICONIC for me. Thank you so much for making this video. I love it so much!
I love watching filming locations videos but I have to say, I love yours the best! Every one you've done is like it's own movie about the movie! Please keep making these. I love your content so much!
I'm only half way through this and I've teared up multiple times, he meant a lot to me too and who I have become...thank you for this Sarah and I know Paul is sending his luck to you ❤
I was the weird theatrical kid in the 80's writing plays and putting on puppet shows for my neighbors instead of playing baseball and going to the arcade. I saw 'Pee Wee's Big Adventure' in the theater in 1986, and it changed my life. I get it. Thank you for this 💔
It took me 2 days to watch this all the way thru. I kept crying. I wasn't a huge PeeWee fan but I still liked his humor and talent. We lost a true peice of happiness when he left. For me PeeWee made it okay to be the weird one. We didn't have to comform to society's opinion of cool. Great video! Your best buy far!
I was putting off this video because I had a feeling I was going to cry...and I am currently bawling. This was so wonderfully put together! 💕 can't wait to see your other adventures!
Such an excellent job on this video paying tribute to Paul Ruben aka Pee Wee Herman and thanks to you I learned a lot about the movie and the different filming locations and it was especially nice that you did this filming location in such a fun and enjoyable way also the drive in was a wonderful way to end the video and who would have thought they would have fireworks after the movie I was loving every minute of it also the blooper were a nice added touch now thanks for always making me feel good through your videos and I know why I feel good it’s you magnificent personality and as always your hair looked gorgeous and the different outfits added to your amazing look now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Sara and I’ll see you on the next awesome Pinup Palmer video also I hope everything is going well for you with your new gig which you so deserve peace ☮️ out ✌️also RIP Paul Ruben
Fascinating Video! Still miss Paul Reuben, Happy bday to him, and R.I.P. to the legend. I used to be terrified of watching anything that Pee Wee Herman did when I was little Lol🤣 I had a massive fear of mascots, puppets, and clowns by the time I was around 5 years old. I wouldn't say I liked playhouses and circuses until I faced my fear by going to an actual Pee Wee's Adventure Circus on my 6th birthday. Spooky stories are also nostalgic 🤡
I’m a new subscriber and I enjoy watching your videos, all the time and effort you put in all your videos being so much joy and inspiration! I loved this video as my mom showed me Pee Wee as a kid and I loved it and naturally fell in love with Tim Burton and Elvira etc and I am who I am today because of Pee Wee. This video also made me tear up because he’s such an icon. Thank you for this! ❤
I've never seen Pee Wee's big adventure, but I plan on watching it now! This is a really heartfelt video and I can tell how much his work has meant to you! Your videos make me feel nostalgic and comforted and a similar way I'm sure. You're a real gem on RU-vid.
This video made me so happy! I always loved peewee ever since I randomly decided to watch the movie on Netflix lol it totally changed me. I really love childish movies and everything about it makes me still laugh today. Really enjoyed watching ❤
Such a lovely tribute to Paul ❤️. And of course, the editing is amazing (as always). I really love and enjoy your RU-vid channel. Thank you so much! 🥰❤️
I can’t even tell you my favorite part because I loved every moment of this. The history, the hilarious re-enactments…this was so fantastic. Well done!
Are you kidding me ? the editing on this was amazing, ive never seen this movie (will be watching now) but that was like watching a documentary, Bravo :D you can tell how much love, care and thought went into this video, You did Paul proud with this one x
Like some rainbow high school dolls and some Barbies, your hair has glue too. I loved Pee Wee That was Rueben's best comedy That is how he made a good living in show biz.
Very much the best video you have done. Paul’s death hit me really hard too - such a big part of my childhood. I really do think if you and Paul met, you would have been fast friends 💕
Thank you for watching .. and I did meet Paul once behind the stage of monster palooza doing a show he was hosting … I was Lucy from I love Lucy of all things when I shook his hand knowing he liked Lucy I’m sure it was a funny moment for him too lol 😂
I love that the current owners matched the blue of the curtains to the blue of the chairs on the porch. Marilyn Monroe also did a photo session looking out of the window of the fortune tellers store
The thing that made me angry Paul never harmed anyone, not one person said he did yet the press drove him to become almost a hermit. So freaking unfair. Rest Paul. ❤
And I'm immediately bawling. The last time I cried this much was when Phil Hartman died. These guys were such a huge part of my childhood. Its literally like watching my childhood slowly die. 😢
Thank you so much for sharing your Big Adventure of Pee Wee. I was very upset when I heard of his passing… yes I choked up a bit. Say! Did you know the hoodlum that jumps PeeWee in the movie was Tom Burton making a cameo appearance? Thank you! Your new Biggest Fan in Virginia!
Liz playing Andy 😂 If you go inside the T Rex, you find that it is VERY small inside. Definitely not the roomy seating where they watched the sun rise. 😊
Happy Birthday Paul Reubens, you are missed by many ❤️ love this tribute! :’)❤️ I was able to do Pee-Wees laugh when I was little but I lost it 😭 I gotta practice 😂
I don't know if you will see this Sarah but I understand. I loved him so much, growing up I was an outsider and things like Rocky picture and Elvira, peewee helped me feel understood. Your tribute made me 😢 yet laugh so thank you. May I ask if you ever met all Paul? I hope you did.
Not gonna lie... You made me tear up at the beginning in my big manly tractor I'm in 🥹 (don't worry , I wasn't driving while watching) This is an amazing tribute and location vid y'all made. Thank you 🤗🩶❤️🤍
Pee Wee’s Big Adventure was huge in our household. It was actually my mom and dads first date at oddly enough the drive in here in. Guess who was born nine months later…meeeee 🤣! So my parents always watched it for their anniversary.
You have too ! It’s one big silly movie with a simple concept and through the eyes of a man child. Note! Every shot has red blue and yellow in it with a base of black and white and sometimes pink and green. No other color in the film all standard kid colors
