From Rockville, visiting my Boyfriend in NE, DC can take 45-50 mins...and its also 50 mins to my family in Baltimore....15-20 mins isn't quite true to actually get anywhere inside of DC, not just to the border.
15-20 anywhere is currently impossible for such a huge area to cover, but it is quite central. I live in king farm within walking distance of the red line metro and can be in DC in no time, 30 mins or so from Frederick, etc. I lived in Durham, NC and missed having all these great towns within short distances.
That 20-minute thing is pushing it... You can make it to the DC border getting off at Georgia Ave in 20 minutes if there is absolutely no traffic on 270 or 495, but let's be honest... It takes at least a half an hour to get to as far as Northern Virginia's concerned it takes way longer. Otherwise, I think your video eas fantastic.
YESSS! Be aware of those cameras!! i didn't know about them. drove through Hagerstown. And couple months later got a stupid ticet for driving 12 mph over in a 25 mph zone! crazy !!
I am considering moving to Rockville/Potomac area. I coming from the Atlanta area, before living in the Atlanta area we lived in Ann Arundel county, we’re coming back Maryland for good, my question is does having a Potomac Zip code but a Rockville address impact school your district?
Thank you this video was very helpful. I’m a realtor who works for a builder selling new construction in Florida. I’ll be moving up to DMV area in September. From your experience what location Maryland or Virginia, s better with new construction opportunities? Does one state sell better the other?
Hi Kaleb. I would look at the different areas to see which feels better to you. The DMV is pretty competitive. It really depends on who is building what at the time
@@CarynGardiner oh that's awesome! I went to Towson for film, graduated in 2016 and ive been Freelance as a film contractor since - so you know how the 10 plus hour days can be lol I write screenplays mostly but looking for a transition into another applicable career.
