@somemodder9435 they do events to reward the fish. Some of the old rods and reels have not been available after the initial release. And some are available when you join the Facebook page.
Unique fish are random like sharks. Not really a good way to target them. I usually just fish for the epics on the locations and eventually get lucky and get the Unique.
