Thank you for the video. I have the. 22 magnum, and the. 22 whisper. I learned from your video how to cock the magnum with two hands. I'm very impressed with Gammo. Thank you
The whole set up is junk the gun sucks i used a really good gun rest that i used on other guns to sight in the gamo shoots all over the place total waste of money
I was curious if you have found a preferred shooting hold on the Magnum, for best accuracy? I have the Magnum 22 cal. I seem to be inconsistent in my accuracy. Sometimes 1" at 40 yards, other days 4" at 40 yards. I've been trying to figure out what I'm doing differently. I've heard some say hold it loose, some hold it firm in the shoulder. What is working best for you? Enjoying your vids, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for writing. I am not even close to being an expert, but what I would do is get some sort of gun rest. Something that will be very stable, and try your tests and results from there. If you run into a problem, maybe it is the pellets, scope, or air rifle. Also what is your accuracy at 10 and 20 yards? I started at 10 yards to sight in my scope and then 20 yards. At 40 yards with that included scope, I am not sure what my results would be either. Good question, hopefully, someone can give some good insight. Have a great day.
@@FunOutdoorAdventures Thanks! When I'm doing good, I'm shooting 1/2" at 20 yards. Maybe I need to pull the baffles out of the muffler, and check for any signs of baffle strike.
Shooting an air rifle is different than shooting a typical rifle. Even if using a rest, hold the gun lightly and let it kick forward. Do not try to hold it very tight. That should help. Any resistance (tight hold) will cause it to be less accurate. Let the rifle move. Hope that helps.
I set mine at 30yds it shoots all over the place using red fire any thing less than 30yds really dont need a scope on a real gun . I dont understand how these people think these things are so great so far i think they are junk.
I didn't watch the video little short on time. I wondered if is there any noticeable difference between gamo magnum igt 2 and igt 3..? I have gamo magnum igt 2, 4.5 - 177...
When I bought Gamo Replay 10X Magnum igt Gen2. That's the name in Europe, Replay Magnum!?... I put a tuna can 10-15 meters max, I shot 2,3 times and the can didn't move, I thought the 1st time maybe I missed, the 2nd 🤔 but 3 times 😂 and the can didn't move.? I went to the table where I've the tuna 🥫 , it had 6 holes but the can didn't move, I don't remember what pellets I used I think some of the cheapest "pro-match" I think. I shoot on the same level with the 🥫 and the pellets just went straight through it without moving it it really surprised me, I've never seen anything like that before
Depending on where you are in Europe the power output will vary. In the UK it's 16 joules of energy....in Spain and Portugal it's 24 joules. In Holland it's 'full-power' as in the US...about 32-37 joules I think....maybe a little more. The ONLY difference is that the lower powered guns have a smaller transfer port...hole that the air enters the barrel from the cylinder. That's why the Magnums all recoil heavily, whatever the power level....it's just allowing less air to escape quickly...so less power.
