This has been a long difficult healing process. And one I have yet to fully recover from. At this point it is the mental and emotional toll of this accident that is troubling me the most. Physically, I have healed much faster than expected, however it did not always feel that way.
I am so grateful for each and every one of you who have reached out to me and shared your own story with me. I hope that my story can offer some hope and inspiration.
The filming and posting of this video is delayed, so keep a lookout for my one year update. I'll drive deeper into showing you what specific daily stretches and light exercises I did daily and such that helped relieve the pain.

Thank you so much for this update, you have no idea how much I needed it and how much it helped me. I hurt my tailbone on May 7th. Since that day I've been struggling a lot both physically and mentally. I lift weights and I usually do very intense hiit cardio routines, but I haven't exercised so much since I hurt my tailbone. I really miss my old lifestyle, but I will be patient with all the healing process. Thank you so much for this, I feel a lot less alone and lost now that I've heard your experience.

I'm so so glad that you've found my video helpful. There aren't many personal stories out there about this type of injury...that's why I created this. The ways that our bodies can heal themselves is amazing and you WILL get back to your active lifestyle...with more gratitude and enthusiasm :). You're not alone

I just got injured from my tailbone and it is day 2 and the pain is very intense. I cannot walk or sit without that shock of pain that you get if you know what I mean. Your videos have helped me a lot with expectations and to have an idea on what to do. Thanks for that :)

I hope that you're starting to feel better now! And I can truly relate. I looked everywhere so personal authentic healing stories from others and couldn't find anything! So that's why I decided to create these healing journey videos with the hope that it would be helpful to others. So thank you so very much for your comment and I'm sending you lots of love.

Hi thanks for posting this amazing video. I met with an accident but don’t know how it impacted my tailbone. Its my 4th week. I was improving well ( actually it was painkillers effect) until day before yesterday but I stopped pain killers and yesterday moved out for office after 22 days and also tody. Its now pain so badly again. I m devastated its like life is gone. I will be ever back to hillside trips, bike driving, Work out. So worried that it will be healed or not. Ortho says it takes 3 to 8 weeks depending on individual body to body. Your video gave me hope and confidence. Thanku again.

oh my heart is going out to you. Believe me I truly know the feeling. I went through so many feelings of anger, frustration, depression, worry, hopelessness...aaaall of it everyday. I also felt like my life was gone. And honestly I kind of was. I couldn't do what brought me joy. And I was envious of my fellow hiker and hooper friends. My advice would be to move when you feel up to it, little by little...I would start to feel better then jump into movement and end up backtracking. Use a foam roller, stretch (I'm not a doctor tho), believe that your body knows how to heal itself and respect that you being an advice person will truly work in your benefit to heal! I really hope you're starting to feel better and I'm sending you lots of love.

This put a huge smile on my face at the end I needed to hear this. Everyone talks about how awful it is and long but no one says that they are doing everything normal again. How long did it take I fractured my coxxyx falling off a trampoline. Im a personal trainer so moving and lifting weights IS my lively hood and how I make a living. When did you feel that you were 100%. It’s a progress I know and everyone is different but I’m in a place of fear

Wow i guess life made you slow down and this experience of the total opposite kind of state puts you in the position to go the middlepath ,the golden one or the way of harmony now. I feel you for how terrible it must have been to go through that but isnt it like a great gift to look at it from nowhere?oh and btw i immediately thought of magnesium oil spraying on in the beginning.it s the only way to absorb it for your body really fast and it s like THE building block for bone growth as well as nerves and a lot of other important stuff...i read a book about it from someone who had an injury as well and totally healed on his own with the help of magnesium chloride.just want to share that with you in case you didnt allready know.your frequency im very resonating with.you re blessed.love

That's intriguing! Thank you for sharing that with me! I am fully healed now and so very grateful for what my body is capable of doing and remaining more in tune with my body and what it needs. It is kind of surreal to look back on this experience. And I'll refer to your advice in the future :).

Thank you for the update. I fell and broke my tailbone 7 weeks ago. It's such a weird feeling, a few good days, then a few bad days. My orthopedic told me the same thing, " yeah, it's broken, there is nothing I can do, just need to rest and it will heal on its own." And "you will feel it when the weather gets cold." It's frustrating. I love to play and pick up my 7 year old boy, but I can't now. I know things will get better later, but it just sucks now. I did find dried apricots really helped with my bowel movement, cuz daily stool softener didn't do much for me. How are you doing now? Are you back to doing your regular routine now? Thank you again for your updates.

Hey. I fell down the stairs 2 weeks ago and have been in pain since. There has been some improvement in pain level but I still get pain when trying to do any physical activity. Currently in bed lying on my side with a hot water bottle on my back. How are you doing now?
@bewitched1980
@bewitched1980 2 года назад
@@ShxzA9 I feel 80% back to normal now. It's been a little over 2 months. Going up and down the stairs are still tough for me. Also no lifting anything more than 5lbs, cuz it hurts around the lower back and sacral area. If I'm careful and move slowly, my day is not bad. But sometimes i get sciatic nerve pain or just simple lower back pain, I have to lay down for some time. Still taking this one day at a time. You hang in there. Rest is very important.

@bewitched1980 2 года назад
@@ShxzA9 I think it was about 7th week in, that's when I felt I could do some light house chores like doing dishes or sweeping the floor. But still walking with a limp and couldn't lift anything more than 2lbs. Now I'm 12 weeks in, still can't lift more than 5lbs, going down the stairs is still no comfortable. Sometimes I get sharp nerve pain down to my legs. But I started physical therapy 2 weeks, it's helping. So just hang in there, physical therapy really helps. Also heat helps, cuz when temperatures gets down to 60s, I can feel more stiff and tender at the problem site. Be positive, your will get better soon.

Sacral and tailbone fractures should be seen by a neurologist - your video was replete with pitches about your yoga practice. Why meditate to some fake god that lives with his legs crossed and can't even stand up - wasn't that your goal? Standing up without pain? Put your fingers together and then stretch and pretend you are a dog - seriously?
