I thought it was about time for an updated skincare routine. So here it is... and I've kept it very honest!

I know a lot of the products used here are high end as I tend to like to invest in my skincare. I have lots of drugstore skincare products to recommend but for my personal skincare routine video I wanted to keep it honest to what I really use on a daily basis.

Lovely video! I also have a tip for you - with those exfoliating pad, use the last bit of liquid before you discard them across the back of your hands. I'm much older than you, but it's done wonders!

I've watched a few skincare routine videos recently and yours is my favourite. I think each week your videos are getting better. The editing and the ideas are spot on. Instead of doing the same old videos you're trying new things and I am loving it!! Keep up the good work Lily.

I love how you balance your skincare routine. I have quite oily skin so tend to stick to astringent and antibacterial products then wonder why my skin looks dehydrated, I never really thought about choosing products that tackle different issues so that it can be used more consistently. Definitely heading to Boots this afternoon!

I used to do the same as you! I used such drying products for my acne that my skin looked so dull and dehydrated! A couple of months ago I completely changed my routine and my skin is genuinely looking better than ever! I use my usual acne cleanser, a beautiful serum and a lightweight moisturiser to keep my skin balanced :) xo

Oh! You just reminded me I need to buy more Bioderma!!! I remember in the evenings when removing my makeup but always forget to order one during the day! I'm on my last few drops I will order now!! It was from watching you and Anna rave about it last year that I purchased the travel sized bottle to try it, and I haven't gone back since, so can just say THANK YOU for introducing it to me! :)

It's so funny. You and Anne are like twin sisters! You always do the same kind of videos :) It's so cool :) You even use the same products (ok, maybe not all of them are the same, but I've found three or four which were used by Anne, too) And It's quite a thing, It just means that this products are good for every type of skin and that they are worth their price :) xoxo

I don't know how you use the Oskia cleanser on your eyes, that stuff hurts my eyes a lot! We do use a lot of the same products though, and if I don't use some now you've made me want them!!

Those exfoliating pads are very interesting :) maybe I'll try them... My biggest skincare problem is finding a morning moisturizer that will leave my skin feeling plump and hydrated, but that is not so moisturizing that will mess up my makeup... urgh... the struggle

my holy grail moisturiser is the Johnsons Soothing Naturals Intense Moisture Cream. it's relatively inexpensive and it does wonders for your skin! a little goes a long way with this product :3

Can someone explain the use of muslin cloth instead of just washing the cleanser off the face with water? I presume one would use the cloth to lightly exfoliate the skin as well, is there anything else it's good for?

You're right, it just lightly exfoliates everyday - my skin is always so much smoother vs. just splashing my cleanser off! It removes makeup and dirt so much more efficiently in the evening as well :)

To ensure cleansers & makeup & dirt are off. If u just splash water, can still leave residue & products. U can just normal face cloth, I do.

Love this video! Do you use a make up removing cleanser to wash the cloth afterwards or just normal soap?does washing the cloth take up extra time in the morning if you are in a hurry?

I just bought a multipack of flannels from the supermarket and I use one each day and chuck them in my usual laundry wash at the end of the week! xo

Emily Albojer I get confused too. Every time I wipe my makeup off with a flannel it always looks gross and has tons of makeup on it. I feel like if I don't wash it I'll be putting all those dirt back on my face the next time I use it, but if I wash it properly it takes too much time.

I buy a few packs of the primary face cloths and use a fresh one every day then throw them out when they get too grubby. Face cloths are better than the muslin clothes and I have used both.

Hi. Love your videos. Just a question do you not use water to wash yor face and remove all your cleanser? I can't get my head around not washing your cleanser off your face. There must be loads of cleanser still left and the soap clogs pores. Have you ever researched that just figure would be good to mention. Otherwise love the video.

lily! how do you wash your muslin cloths? mine always look so dirty! the stains tend to stay as well even after the washing machine. is there any particular soap you use? also do you wash them after every use?

I was kind of disappointed when she didn't show the cotton pad after using Bioderma. I don't know why, but I love the satisfaction of seeing a cotton pad full of makeup.
