[UPDATED] The Most Ridiculous OP Build For Mass Effect Andromeda Patch 1 08! 

Hey man I was expecting a shout out for that hornet build I suggested to you on your video before the live stream.

I was expecting to see the anti-gravity function included in “this suit” especially the pathfinder perks is perfect for Ryder’s job in andromeda

The pace you have now on the video is really pleasant ! (Enough details given, doesn't take too long) Nice buil, I'll probably try it even if I don't think I'll bother craft everything. My droped kert armor will do. :3

Valkyrie is always better than Hornet SMG - they similar DPS, but Valkyrie got higher accuracy and better clips size(cause it shoots slower). The single "bad thing" - it's weight a bit higher, but it still very low - you don't need any perks to wear it

Thanks for the video. I enjoyed playing the final mission with the hornet SMG on my second playthrough. (Aug's BIO+PLASMA SEEK+AUTOFIRE+DOUBLEMOD).And indeed with the insanity difficult and KROGAN BEHEMOTH's. I made the choices to make the final play more difficult. I love the combat in this game.

First real insane build I've seen so far, many ppl saying the most ridiculous build, but you did make the other posers cry right now xDD. That is rly OP.

Biotic Anihilation along the passive Offensive Biotics rank 6 Weapons buff, with is also a good one to get later on.

Chest armor better have one shield oscillator, because smaller enemies will drop like flies. And also there's adrenaline fusion mod with its drawback decreased by that specific cryopod.

Late but not forgotten!. The Smg Hornet is so Op. Just about with any build it smacks !. 2nd is the P.A.W.

Automatic fire mod pretty much broke the game but It got me playing my level 105 Soldier again. I use Valkerie + Automatic fire + Bio Converter + 4 mods+ and 2 kenetic coils. With Pathfinder gear and Solider profile on PC there is no need for sniper rifle. I can go full auto headshots at any range and it's an absolute laser. 270 damage per bullet at 750 RPM with no buffs activated.

Heh. I actually did try a full auto hornet before I saw this vid. It was pretty crazy but something that I had suspected due to gameplay experience with the weapon. For funsies, I even went with the beam emitter and it just evaporated enemies in a single clip.

So is the Dhan pulling ahead of the Piranha now in terms of DPS? That full auto augment is a game changer! :O

So the Hornet can become a a BRRRRT? Nice. Like to see how this works with the Sweeper.

I wish weapon DPS and burst damage was more balanced so you wouldn't be as handicapped if you wanted to pursue a gun with no regards to stats.

Is this build still viable for 1.10? If not do you have a comparable one?

Have you tried using Duration Boost Modules instead of Kinetic Coils to further extend the time that Tactical Cloak is active? I'm not sure which would be better. With Kinetic Coils the extra damage is always there, but damage output during Tactical Cloak is so disproportionately high that it might actually be more effective to take the Duration Boost Modules approach. Would be interesting to try, might give it a shot.

Question: Isn't the Valkyrie better than the Hornet for this? I've put all weapons in an Excel at I and V (1.08 values) and when looking at DPS values, it's Dhan -> Hesh -> Valkyrie -> Hornet or Incisor (don't have the sheet at hand atm but those two are close). Now Dhan and Hesh, being shotguns, suffer from poor range and poor base accuracy and the Dhan has a small clip which isn't good with +50% RoF and Bio-converter. Comparing Valkyrie to Hornet however, the Valkyrie has better base DPS, better damage per clip and it takes longer to empty a clip. So more DPS, less life tax. Also the range is better, the scope is better, the accuracy and stability are better and the lvl 6 related power choice for Assault rifle is better. Of course the tier X DPS from Hornet may be better than Valkyrie, I don't have those numbers at hand...in that case, I can see the Hornet as prime choice.

just started playing this game and I am trying to use this build but I cant seem to find the kinetic coil augmentation I dont seem to have the blueprint and I cant find it at the general merchant on the nexus. Did they remove this from the game or am I am missing something?

Yikes. Automatic Fire Rate goes really well with Cloak+Turbo. What about burst, or semi-auto? Are there any broken ways to use those? And, what we're all wondering, is ANY combination involving the beam emitter... remotely viable?

Here's the drinking challenge: everytime you hear "of course" you drink. If you stay alive you win.

This is late but just throwing it out there, the rapid fire mod actually decreases DPS. These aren't additive effects, they're multiplicative. That's a critical difference. You're not getting +50 speed and -40 damage, you're getting +50% speed and -40% damage. Percentages are multipliers. Using the Hornet's stats shown at 8:11, here's the math: Default is 156 damage per bullet at 950 rounds per minute = 148,200 damage per minute ie 2470 DPS. With the rapid fire mod it becomes 93.6 damage per bullet at 1425 rounds per minute = 133,380 per minute, ie 2223 DPS (10% decrease in DPS) (Btw this ratio always holds true if you're comparing the same weapon, regardless of what the specific fire rate and specific damage per bullet are) When we're talking about percentages, losing X percent is much stronger than gaining X%. Let me explain...say we were to gain 50% of X. Now we're at 150%. In order to counteract that 50% buff we only need to lose 33% with a debuff. Conversely, imagine we started with a 50% debuff to our 100%, which leaves us at 50%. In order to counteract that 50% debuff, we need a 100% buff to get back up to the original 100% Not to mention that while you are firing 50% quicker your magazine size has only increased by 20%, meaning you are spending MORE time in combat reloading, causing a drop in your damage per minute. (Will be reloading 25% more frequently based on the numbers) And of course that mod decreases accuracy as well, causing you to miss more shots than you otherwise would have which again...lowers your DPS. Since you need more bullets to finish off foes, you now have an increased risk of running out of ammo in extended firefights. Lastly keep in mind opportunity cost. Instead of equipping that mod which lowers your DPS, you could have chosen something better. All factors accounted for, you just don't want to use that.

i just tested this... and, it is not even a "build"- the entire power comes from the Hornet with automatic Augument. so you dont need anything else besides that and the pistol skills, and, even without the pistol skill tree, you do a great amount of damage... the SMG does all the work.

Where did you acquire so many kinetic coils? I have been buying them 1 at a time on Nexus and reloading which gives me about 3 every 15-20 mins. Did you do this for hours or is there better place? Thanks!

this could be a dumb question, i'm not sure, but how do i equip more than one kinetic coil on a weapon? i equip one, and then when i go to the next slot, i'm not able to pick another kinetic coil. it just disappears from the list of augmentations. EDIT: oops, nevermind. it was a mod doing it that i was testing out. fixed now!
