Definitely looking forward to your shopping list so we can grab fire extinguishers and those boxes for under the sink! Oh man, that minimus site is an amazing tip! The majority of their stuff is kinda pricy, but it beats convenience/camp store prices and for some things like honey and syrup it's worth it to NOT have a sticky bottle to deal with later! We're glad we got the 4" cushions too. We hang out on the rear couch and the dog usually takes up the front couch. For fans, we have Ryobi "hybrid" battery/plug fans that use the same battery packs as our flashlight, lamp, radio, and other power tools. Since we already had all the stuff anyway (the dog can overheat fast, so we needed an easy portable way to keep him cool), it made sense to just take it with us. For power, we have a Jackery Explorer 1000 that we keep in the rear basement under the kitchen because of its size and we keep our battery charger down there too. For doing the dishes, we have a squirt bottle of soapy solution for wash and a squirt bottle of fairly weak vinegar solution for rinse and we keep them in the bungies. That way we don't need to use any of our fresh water or sinks and we dry as we go. A leatherman style multitool is a good thing to have regardless, good buy! As for a fridge, we've got a CF50 on order and are hoping it will fit the same as the CF40 since the footprint is the same, it's just a bit taller. Looking forward to part 2, here goes...

I am glad I got 4” too. I am solo so 40 qt fridge is more than enough for me. Did any of you have any issues with the hitch notches in the bed platforms not lining up? I haven’t but have seen a few people that have.
You've inspired us with the possibilities. After watching your video (and a few others), we decided the van was the right way to go. So we bought a Kia Carnival. We ordered the conversion kit from Vanpackers and are awaiting anxiously.@@KayHarrington-ed3br
From one Harrington to another, thank you Kay. I appreciate your presentation on your Vanpackers camper conversion. We have the Chrysler Pacifica. They also make a version for that model. I too like the two bench ‘living room’ setup that this conversion offers. It seems to be well thought out. And, I have looked at others. I also liked seeing accessories you added. Thanks again. And Happy Camping. Ted Harrington
I finally decided on the Vanpackers kit partly due to your videos. They should be paying you a commission 😊. I will be picking mine up from Montreal tomorrow. Keep the videos coming.
Wow, Kay! The updated version is very professional and sound quality is A1. Oddly enough, I got my DGC R/T and VanPacker’s Kit before I even found you but it is so fun to watch how you do everything in comparison to me! I watched a guy that did a 3 month out critique on the same conversion and it was interesting. Would you consider revisiting yours after a time to report your opinions and what you consider pluses and minuses? I have no interest in doing it as a RU-vidr but you two are pros! Cheers and thank you !
Thanks agajn for this. How much power does ur alpicool fridge require? when in camp, do u only rely from ur energizer battery pack? how long does it last? do u use ur solar panel? Been wanting to add fridge to our converted mini van but a bit worried how we can power it. I have a 1000w anker batt pack but it seems not enough to power our fridge.
I'm loving your videos. I want to order some of the same items in the videos but it says I need permission. How do I get a list of the items discussed? Thanks!
