Selling my candles wholesale has felt like such a long journey, but it's happened so quickly within the last year and a half. I continue to pivot and make changes every day, which helps me understand myself and consumers and approach them with authenticity.

Thank you for sharing this video. As new candle makers, we are preparing to do wholesale. Watching your journey is as inspirational as it is educational.

That makes my heart happy 🥰 I still don’t know what I’m doing most of the time, but I learn from people who know more than me, and I share with people who know less than me! Balance haha

Thank you for another great video! I love the idea of wholesale. That's eventually the route I would love to take - and also love the idea of reaching out to real estate agents and brokers. I'm still very new and in the process of starting up my social media accounts, so it may not happen any time soon, but in the meantime, I'm learning all that I can for when I am ready.

I find that I’m not ready to do something until a fire gets lit under my ass. Once I feel that fire, I know I’m ready to make the move. Good for you for going at your own pace bc it’s so easy to lose sleep over the lil details… which helps no one! ❤️

Do you have experience with Faire? I've heard good things about it, it's like an Etsy but for wholesale? Not 100% sure how it works

Thanks for being so open and transparent with your business journey. It's been so helpful💜 I was wondering if you use a specific platform to make your invoices. I’m trying to come up with a seamless process for my customers, and I’m feeling a bit perplexed. If I draft my own invoices using a platform like Microsoft Word or PDF, how will customers be able to pay the invoice since a Word or PDF doc isn't linked to my business bank account? Would it be okay to add my business bank account details to the invoice itself? OR should I use an invoicing app like Honeybook, Stripe, Bill etc? These all seem to charge transaction fees. Would love to hear how you go about sending invoices and receiving payment. Thanks!

I’m happy to hear my videos have been helpful! I use my website to draft and send orders. WIX would label them as actual invoices and Shopify labels them as “draft orders”. This feels like the safest way for customers to trust that it’s coming directly from a website. Additionally, the option to pay is right there and that payment is sent to my website like any other order. If you’re using a platform for your own website, look into how to draft invoices or orders. If you’re using something like Etsy or only selling through IG or your email services, I’m not quite sure how to go about that since I’ve never done that before. Hope that helps!

Also… I’d suggest not adding your bank account details anywhere. Maybe I just worry too much but that could get a lil dicey I think.

@@laciej I've tried to leave a response to your message a few times, but for some reason it seems like it's not going through. Thank you for your insight!!
