I just had the best luck of my entire life. I pulled Yun jin and yoimiya in consecutive wishes and yoimiya wasn't even 50/50. Also pulled ganyu from the permanant banner too

I really like Yoimiya's hairstyle. Its very unique and you don't see many real girls have that kind of hairstyle! Plus her hair goes really well with the rest of her clothing and colour scheme! Edit: She also is asymmetrical, and its hard to make up characters who are asymmetrical, because it takes longer to model each side.

Same that's why after getting yoimiya. I'll skip nahida if dehya will be released close to her. Archons are usually must pulls but there is always demand so rerun intervals are closer unlike characters like yoimiya or shenhe
I honestly regret pulling on her oroginal banner cuz I've super invested in my Yoimiya yet she still does only 4-14k dmg on top of being a single target only which isnt a lot so she's really bad in abyss
As someone who mained Yoimiya for a whole year, I'm currently refarming for her artifacts with Echoes set. I've used 2 pc combinations for the past year and regardless of rng, Echoes will yield higher damage. It is not restrictive on energy (Shimenawa) and shielding (Bolide) since I also love playing her in co-op and solo scenarios. Also, I have fairly decent ping so that wouldn't be an issue. It took me months before choosing which set to refarm and I'm happy with it. I only need 1 last piece to complete the set.
I'm on the same boat, except my ping is high (120ms on average) so it's not optimal for me. But I've had far better luck with Echoes' substats than Shimenawa's despite farming the former for at least triple the resin investment, so I'm sticking to it. There's also the fact that Shimenawa is extremely iffy with Thundering Pulse and restricts your comps and rotations a little due to energy maintenance. EDIT: Farming Echoes was also resin efficient for me because I wanted to rebuild my Xiao for a really long time, so Vermillion was also a good excuse to go all in on the domain.
I didn't see it mentioned in the vid, but 4p echoes have an issue if you use her in a vape team Yoimiya can't vape all of her NA hits (that's why it's recommended that you use the entire combo string, so you can vape her last NA) for Echoes you cant control which NA hit it will trigger, which makes it worse in average or bad cases
Yoimiya is my 2nd main(I have 4 mains one per team) and honestly I just love her and were even similar in some ways so yeah best girl also VA cameo? Awesome

Been playing since launch and for the first time i pulled for waifu. Man i love Yoimiya character and her japanese voice actor its god tier, super happy that i got her even if my account value didnt go up much
Literally same here. My first time pulling for a 5* female character. I could listen to her yelling "Hi no youjin!" and "Ta~maya~!" all day🥰 Zero value to my account, but also zero regrets from me!
In vape teams, Yoimiya's Normal Attack ICD is not really an issue (although it would have potentially be better if it vaporized every hit). If you think about it, Hu Tao can do 8-10 vaped charged attacks during her infusion period while Yoimiya can do 9 vaporized attacks in hers too
@@xxx_lolidestroyer69_xxxuwu58 It is her own ICD you can test this while fighting cryo or hydro cube. Not every one of her arrow strings melt or vape compared to hu tao that can melt or vape every one of her charged attack

@@xxx_lolidestroyer69_xxxuwu58 In a perfecr gameplay where she doing her NA combo without interruption, she will always vape her N1 N3 and N5, whether it is with xingqiu or yelan only or double hydro because her NA have ICD and follow universal ICD rules Edit : But i test it with C6 xingqiu. Idk about non C6 xingqiu maybe his hydro can't keep up im not sure.

I recently 3x crowned Yoi and this just remind me again, that i made the right choice. For real she's really fun to play and must admit Jenny voices fit so much with the character!
Yoimiya teaches me how to play Yoimiya? Easily the best guide I’ve ever watched (Also damn Jenny’s voice is so upbeat. Where can I find some of that overwhelming positive energy?) Yoimiya is literally the only reason I was able to clear floor 12 of the current spiral abyss. My other main dps is Xiao and you can probably guess how chasing a large mechanical worm like you’re a literally pogo stick is not going to work out.

There is a teamcomp i wanna try out with Yoimiya and Yunjin in which Yoimiya has Retracing Bolide and Yunjin has Archaic Petra (with Zhongli and Xingqiu, ofcourse). The rotation is basically as follows: - Switch to shield character and apply a shield. - Switch to Yoimiya and use ult. - Switch to Yunjin, use E (Yunjins C4 gives her 20% DEF upon triggering crystalize), then pickup the shard giving the team 35% bonus pyro damage, then use ult. - Switch to Xingqiu or Yelan and use ult aswell. - Finally, switch to Yoimiya, press E and click away. - Profit. I have no idea if it would work in practice due to all the damage buffs maybe fading away but im really curious about trying this out.

I was expecting to see yet another Genshin Impact character build guide. But them, Braxophone whipped out his enormous balls and trumped them all by having Yoimiya's VA in his video. You know what Braxophone? You just opened Pandora's Box. Now we will be expecting the corresponding VA for every character build guide moving forward.

I watch all your guide videos, even for characters I don't have, and seriously, you having the VA helping do the guide video is genius. This is truly amazing and I know you likely had to commission her, so this isn't something you will likely do for every guide, but doing one every 6 week patch would be amazing! I really like retracing bolide kit on Yoimiya especially that Zhongli never leave her side. However it is really stressful when I do domain use Yoi and there is no shielder
I got back here after I got my C1 at 18 pity this banner. I know how to play her but just hearing Yoimiya talking about herself is music in my ears. Jenny is such an amaizing VA really.
Hey people, just wanna say that retracing bolide domain is great, cuz archaic Petra is incredible for yunjin, since her skill pushes you into the shield crystal immediately. It’s super resin efficient for her if you hate farming the defense and clam domain
Actually, the bolide and Petra domain can be an efficient farming domain if you decide to use Petra on Zhong Li or Yun Jin and be part of her team. It can equalize everything, Petra 35% bonus elemental damage can be a good exchange on the "shimenawa to bolide loss" on 18% atk and -10% normal damage. So my final point is, emblem and shimenawa is still the most efficient domain to farm compared to bolide Petra, but once you have a Petra + bolide in your team then your Yoimiya could be more convenient to use in comparison with the conditions of shimenawa.

her+diona+beidou got me through initial Inazuma /mid-AR in general, and Ive always loved playing her. she's one of the easiest characters to play on mobile and do consistent dmg, plus the fireworks on aimed shots help clear barrel shooting challenges faster

I downloaded Genshin specifically *for* Yoimiya, but I was disappointed when I realized how the event banner system worked and that the 5 Stars available at the moment was Eula/Albedo, so I've been VERY PATIENT waiting for Yoimiya to finally come back. I'm so happy that I'll finally get to bring her home (been saving for a while as you might expect haha) right before Sumeru. DEFINITELY going to be emptying my piggy bank to get as many constellations as RNGesus will allow.
Best thing about end game is i just pulled her a few min ago andalready had an r5 rust from rng pulls and shimenawas from farming emblem and hutao pieces to where i didnt need squat. I love easy builds.
The VA for Yoimiya is great. I like her videos surprising Genshin fans in pictures, and she really gives off good vibes in and out of the game. The character is op as well.
I got lucky on her first banner and won the 50/50 early, and I’m so glad I did. If I didn’t already have her, I would be sorely tempted to pull for her now because she really is the most adorable character in Genshin Impact. This is the definitive Yoimiya guide. Finally, i can get her in this patch banner. Truly the characters i want since her first release due to design-personality wise But a little correction, thundering pulse 3rd stack description is 'when energy is less than 100%' so u dont need to use burst at all
You do need to use her burst to get the 3rd stack of TP. It literally says ‘stack disappears when energy is full’. She gains the 3rd stack when her energy is NOT full.
@@ilhamsyabani7597 Yes but while Yoimiya is on field, she will quickly gain 15 energy back which fills her burst up and means you lose the 3rd stack during the duration of her skill. Also not using her burst is generally a dps loss (depends on what characters you’re using her with though).
