FrankySaint too many normal summons get effs in GY it’s a bit slow, but it also tends to be a plus for most decks.x

@@CrushCards Fair enough. I generally run Virus cards as part of my Lair engine if I ever use them. Even then, I prefer Full Force and Eradicator Epidemic to pop enemy Extra Summons.

I've been trying Darkest Diabolos engines in tons of stuff, from Lightsworn to Vylons. It surprisingly really flexible!

I agree 100% it’s a fun casual deck... unfortunately that’s all it shall be.

So lair doesn’t actually do the tributing, it plows you to tribute your opponents stuff for cost, but those are typically activated effs of monsters. The monster effs tribute, lair just allows you to use your opponents monsters for cost, as opposed to your own.

Al to my knowledge, as along as you control the dark monster that was tributed, Diablos should trigger. It doesn’t matter what tributes the monster. But it does have to be your monster.

Crush Cards no, the wicked gods. They’re the more evil counter parts of the Egyptain gods and we’re made to counter the Egyptain gods. The Wicked Avatar, The Wicked Dreadroot, and The Wicked Eraser. I personally like Avatar the best because he automatically becomes 100 atk points higher than the strongest monster on the field and when he’s normal summoned your opponent can’t activate spells or traps for 2 turns. I’ve been wanting to build a deck using all 3 of them

We are relatively new to the game so I’ll have to look these up and see how they’d work with the deck :)

@@semihdoludeniz5608 so the way the text reads, you discard first, then response happens, then E-Con activates. The discard cost doesn't activate the card. That's why you don't get the tribute. I had to have a judge confirm this in tourney too. Kinda sucks.

@@jetforcegemknight2539 It's still a good way to set up a combo for Diabolos. You could chunk Diabolos since you don't really need him in the hand and both get a monster from the opposing field with Diabolos special summon to play a Link summon with your opponent's card.

So your technically correct... Tour-guide states that Lilith’s effects would be negated, which is true. So Lilith’s actual effect is to reveal/set a trap.. however, to active the effect, you would have to pay cost. Now tour-guide doesn’t say Lilith can’t activate, just that the resolution of the effect is negated. Therefore, you can still activate Lilith (paying cost to tribute a monster) and then just not resolve the effect. Which is why it’s amazing! 🤗

A pure would be fun for casual, but Chaos MAX is a great OTK imo.

So he meant that on your turn you would top deck ahrima, use ahrima and then on your opponents turn you can activate Lilith! Sorry the wording was kind of weird, but he meant ahrima on the turn it was top decked! Lilith is the quick effect! 🤗

@@CrushCards Well like you said, you can brick it pretty hard if you don't get what you need whereas PoE you can just get a free draw or two from it. I know that PoE got a reprint in the Premium Gold OCG set, so here's hoping it does over here too.
