None of us who knew him can believe he's gone old friend, I actually had to stop and compose myself multiple times to finish my messages on his and Puk's discord servers when I first found out because of how hard the news hit me (a part of me still refuses to believe this is actually happening).
That was a nice tribute, bro. I was a huge fan of his since 2007. He was painfully underrated. Though a huge fan of AVGN as well but always thought Armake was way better in my opinion. I’m in complete disbelief. 40 is no age to die at. Rest In Peace Marcus Sparacio.
That's the shitty thing about life. The longer you live the more people you know, family friends ect eventually die. We all gotta face our mortality some time. Hope he didn't suffer.
He will be missed for sure. And I totally empathize with what’s going on with you, I have had so much going on lately myself, barely have the time to game like I used to though I did pick up the new Dead Space remake, it’s really good.
I definitely get being upset. I still haven't quite gotten it to sink in completely myself. Armake21 videos were a very crucial part of my teen years. Laughing at his stuff helped me through so much bull-crap in high school and its difficult to think that he's gone for good. He would always disappear and come back after a while, but knowing that this time is permanent... it obviously hits different. I've surely said this else where, but Marcus was definitely a pure New Yorker. He had that NYC attitude about him where he could just be abrasive and rude at times. I had a lot of brief interactions with him, I never got bad vibes (other than what I expect from a NY'er: the snippy short attitude, etc). I personally don't think he really ever did any of that with bad intent. He was just short fused and dealt with a lot of BS in life.
Ugh... I heard of Armake21 from Spoony when Spoony was mentioning AVGN and Spoony was defensive about doing anything like MST3K or AVGN... Spoony originally said he was more afraid of copying Armake21... than MST3K or AVGN...
