Hi there, If your built-in navigation device does not use an SD card, then it's not a TomTom Carminat. I'd recommend checking the manual and/or Renault website: easyconnect.renault.co.uk/ Hope this helps!

@TomTom Support it does use SD, but didn't have one present. I tried going to their site and downloading their data but it didn't work. Guessing it's obsolete

Hi there Stephen, The "Update my..." option will change depending on what device TomTom HOME recognises as being connected at the time, so if your Carminat does not show up when you have connected the memory card to your computer, you can see this page on our support site: uk.support.tomtom.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/10378/ All the best,

I had this problem until I realised that my SD card was locked. Unlock it and TomTom home will then be able to see it and give you the update option.

You might lose everything. What about using a spare empty SD card to keep your existing data safe?

Allan Qurashi ok so I didn't delete it but tried updating it over and over again and It still doesn't make any difference and now it's telling me that i can't use the map for uk and Ireland 161

Should I buy the map and why didn't you all have to buy a map?

You need to run this program and after that put your SD card into PC
