The Uganda People's Defence Force (UPDF) has announced the recruitment of professionals into the army, including scientists, starting on 3rd July 2024. Applicants should be aged 18-28, with scientists needing at least one principal pass in Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, or Geography. UPDF Spokesperson Brigadier General Felix Kulayigye says that applications should be submitted online.
