Hello, I'm in Brazil I would be forever grateful if you could help me, I wanted to buy a precise 7520, I wanted to know if it is possible to upgrade it so that I can use nvme with speeds of 1gb, 2gb and even 3gb, or not and I will have to be limited to a speed of 500mb

You rattled between hardware details/methods and software intentions in such a way that is confusing to newbies like me. The indications as to which screws are initially present, pattern of their removal and replacement and whether the adhesive tape on the SSD flap is to be removed or added are unclear! The key to open the BIOS should have been given to educate us. One SSD card was inserted but it was not stated whether in the BIOS to additionally check that single slot or whether to check all the slots seen under drives.

how did you do that ? It says on the specs of the laptop that the max storage it can have per ssd is 1TB ! never knew you could put 2 TB storage !

Change the setting in Bios or clone your old Drive.

Not true you seen my upgrade and it 100% legit, dell wants to sell you another laptop so they can make money of people not understanding the system. You can upgrade a larger drive than 2tb

@@Upgradetechno the reason is at that time of launch of this laptop model there was no 2TB Nvme available in market.

In my 7710 I am running 64 GB ram and 10TB storage in this config: Samsung SSD 860 EVO 4TB, Samsung SSD 980 PRO 2TB, and WD_Black SN850X 4TB. GPU is M5000M, CPU is Xeon E3-1535m v5. For me, upgrading storage has been worth it. I only need to carry it in my backpack about once a month, so the extra weight is a non-issue.
