Just in case anyone is wondering, even PS4 games like Path of Exile, that never released a PS5 version, still gets a huge improvement playing on PS5. I have been playing necromancer this season with 50 minions on screen on PS5, but when I tried to play the same build on my friend’s ps4, it is just so lagged and unplayable. Also load time feels like 5x faster comparing to PS4
Make available Backwards compatibility with ps3 games on ps4/5! We need these ones: Resistance Fom ,2 e burning skies, Killzone Mercenary, Haze, Uncharted Golden abyss.
The PS4 has more features and is the last Japanese made console they closed down Japan Studios and continue censorship on Japanese developers so why would i upgrade to a overpriced machine with hardly any strong Japan support & you can't find a PS5 still even in Japan
I really hope that this year every gamer gets to experience the same joy I did when I got my PS5 a few weeks ago 😁 I'm glad that this console is becoming even more easier to obtain. Have fun when you get your console 💙
@@NordicWildSoul same lol and it’s probably coming, knowing how Sony is. I’m also waiting just a little bit more time until the PS5 finally has a bigger library of its own
I got my PS5 last christmas. Coming from PC, the Dualsense is what makes me interested and it has been a whole new experience for me. I hope more games will take advantage of the Dualsense features just like Astro's Playroom
@@ScotsmanGamer who said it was a downgrade. All he said was PC and you assume a ps5 is a downgrade. You can get a computer for $100 or $3000. A ps5 is far cheaper than a computer of the same capability. Maybe it’s an upgrade.
Backward compatibility is the greatest thing to ever exist, imagine being able to play you old games collection from the previous generations like ps3 and ps2, unfortuantly it is only for ps4 games.
Ps3 and ps2 use completely different hardware than the ps4 and ps5. To make it fully backwards compatible you would technically need both ps3 and ps5 hardware all in one console
Bros increased the price of the Plus of 33% to thank us for waiting 3 years to see PS5 on the shelf, to respond to the VAST catalogue of the Game Pass and to send a little answer to Starfield, Nice job PlayShit.
I don't understand why people spend $60 a year for about seven to eight years for an online service, $80 per controller, $60 to $70 per game, and $499.99 to $599.99 for a console and say that PC gaming is more expensive. It's truly asinine. $60 times seven is $420. The average gamer will spend over $1,000 on a console during its lifetime just to abandon it once the next several hundred dollar machines come rolling around the corner. PC gaming is so much more worth it. Unless what you're looking for is something dumbed down and simplified to an extreme to streamline gaming. Even then, the support for the console will be dropped later down the road and you'll be strong-armed into buying the next iteration, again and again. I moved from PlayStation to PC with absolutely zero regrets. It's significantly better.
So glad to see more PS5's are available to buy from shelves now, hopefully we'll be seeing way more exclusively current gen titles that can show off what the console is capable of
Its all fun and games sony and id gladly upgrade to ps5 but….im from canada and theres not 1 single ps5 at any store 💀💀💀 always out of stocks 😂😂 (its feb 10 , 2023)
They are finally in stores all over Melbourne (where I am) so it’s extremely easy for people to finally experience the full power of the PlayStation 5!
"Keep your saved data" but it'll take 81 hours to transfer over 1.33GB of it. Say what you will about Xbox but they give cloud saving to everyone, not just Gold members
If you dont use game discs versions than you can wait. If you plan on buying the disc version of games you arent sure about in hopes of selling them to Gamestop or offerup then you will want to buy the ps5 now. The slim version will no longer have disc on the hardware it will be an accessory you will have to purchase seperately
@@SpikeTheWolf even if it isnt confirmed its a pretty reasonable guess. Digital, for better and for worse, is the future. Disc readers are becoming ancillary.
@@SpikeTheWolf Not 100%, but the rumour is that the PS5 slim/next version/whatever will have a detachable disc drive. I'd assume that you can buy it bundled with the disc drive.
@@thelawyer95 ????? wdym, ps5 literally has its own exclusives: demon souls, ratchet and clank, ghostwire tokyo... without even taking into account the huge ammount of ps4 exclusives that are also available on ps5
I love my PS5 so much, ordered it officially from the Sony website and I have to say it's more than impressive, I just can't wait to see the improved graphics and gameplay starting this year with spider man 2 and many other games to come! I can replay all my PS4 games with much better performance and it's nothing but a great dream to play my games faster than ever!! Thanks Sony!!!
Bought my PS5 on launch day 2 years ago and it's still the best gaming experience i have ever had. Spiderman and horizon fw are my top PS5 games choices if you wanna get blown away by the power of this machine. Also recommend playing astro's playroom completely the moment you get a PS5 if u wanna experience everything about the dualsense.
PS5 is a great machine with amazing gaming experiences. I’m so glad that I’m able to have a PS5, Xbox Series X and Switch. Never miss anything worthwhile.
It’s a lot easier if you play with both use your PS4 for just your PS4 games and play your PS5 games on your PS5 I’ve been doing that since 2020 my PS5 never broke once like my PS3 did when I was playing PS2 games on it
Upgrade? Uhh like OS upgrade? Upgrade denotes you have something and get something better from something that already exists, right? Or did they mean go to shop and spend a fortune?
I recently got it two months ago at Christmas and I'm absolutely loving it! Amazes me how gaming consoles can go this far bringing us the best experience yet! In a couple of days i'm gonna get Hogwarts Legacy Digital Deluxe to play it 72 Hours early!
I'm glad to see more people getting ps5. I've had mine for half a year because I found one at a store by pure chance. But I'm happy for fans getting the upgrade. To Sony tho...showcase when, my g?
I got mine through a friend who did all the heavy lifting in the summer of 2021. I paid it forward by hooking up a different friend with his own in the summer of 2022. Each one teach one, like the man said
I don’t know where my buddy bought my PS5. I bought my other friend his PS5 from Costco, where I have a membership (it was super easy and they restock pretty often)
@@Agent-nr3od Exactly Bro, the thing is that, it is too expensive and of course we want a ps5, but for now we can't afford it so keep selling more next gen games for our ps4
That’s perfectly fair, ps4 is the best value PlayStation purchase right now. I don’t expect the ps5 to be the superior choice at this pace until into the 2030’s
Im happy with playstation 4 because ps4 has the games i enjoy playing and ps5 doesn't have the games. Ps4 still living it 😎 I wait till Christmas get ps5 at Christmas at end of this year for time being playing ps4 one last year
Playstation Direct, check once or twice a day and they're available. It was hard to get them 2 months after launch LOL. It's been a few weeks on all nighter streams trying to get one
considering there are some titles coming that are ps5 only? don't gotta wait long on that. Everyone knows Spider-Man 2 is a ps5 only game. And with more consoles becoming more readily available, only a matter of time before the 5 is the only holder of new titles
the slims are never cheaper upon release. They reduce prices of the fat consoles, and keep the slims at the original price. Its not till the next gen releases that they actually start reducing console prices. Ps4 was still like $500 CAD when the ps5 was announced at a price of $730CAD
the thing I love most about the PS5 is it comes with backwards compatibility to EVERY game made for older consoles. Xbox couldnt even do that with 360 games when they released the Xbox One. PS4 came with full backwards compatibility support at launch. Plus the games that can be upgraded for free from PS4 to PS5 is awesome. Im pretty sure Xbox doesnt even do that, you have to buy some stupid cross-gen bundle if you want to play a last gen released game on a new gen console. Making the switch from Xbox one to PS5 was the best choice of my life. Such a better UI, so many better exclusive games, and Sony support is way more helpful and easier to reach than Xbox support. Love you Sony!
got my ps5 with a sony direct invitation i received no more than a few days after my ps4 kicked the bucket. Best console i’ve owned thus far- quiet once the disc is finished reading, very fast. Controller is amazing and the adaptive triggers are something else.
I'll wait for the ps5 pro or slim that will definitely release PS4 already has alot of games and games are still being released on it Or you know You can make lbp4
When I don't have to purchase a bundle with games and accessories I don't care about, I will gladly do the upgrade. Till then, I'll keep my ps4, after all I still have some cross-gen and older ps4 games in my backlog to play so no need to hurry ❤️
