Hi Marty! I have bought almost all of your courses and I love all of them…I even purchased the slide guitar course. I just haven’t practiced that one yet. One thing i would love for you to do a master class/course on would be how to hit the “target notes” as the song goes through a progression. How you approach that concept, how other guitarists approach it, and just different techniques to help hit the target notes with each passing chord. For example… I learned how to play the solo to KNOCKING ON HEAVEN’S DOOR through watching your lesson. But I don’t know what notes I’m supposed to be hitting at the same time the G,D,C….G,C,Am progression occurs. A master class/course would be awesome. And maybe the Krasno course does that? That’s the only course I haven’t purchased. Thanks

One thing that recently clicked for me is that I can be playing in a mode, and then be able to easily, and in the most cool way possible, connect to another shape along the neck by using the pentatonic scale in that same key. Woah. (PS, I'm in the Modes Course, thanks Marty!)

So I would play in E major, but flat the G sharp, that would normally be in it? 🤔 oops I guess I might have to flat 7th of E major as well. Changing the D sharp to a regular D. Putting my hand on the white keys from D to D, but took a second or two for my brain to register the other flat, and place it. I think I have it now, but not absolutely certain. I know. Google can be my friend. Off to check it now. 😊

Day 1 of asking for “in the garage” by weezer

Different modes for the same scale is completely unnecessary and complicates it further than it needs to be. It's just starting/ending on different notes within the same scale. When you started demonstrating the scale, you lost me with numbering frets on numbered strings. If you'd just said the name of each note as you played, i could have followed along easily.
