Upgrade your Savotta Keikka 50 or 80 with 6x4 PALS capacity 

Short video on how to upgrade your Savotta Keikka 50 and Keikka 80 duffel bags with 6x4 PALS capacity for adding additional pouches and stuff.
You will need one Särmä TST PC18 6x4 PALS front panel from Varusteleka or similar PC front panel with g-hooks. This one is made by Savotta and it fits perfectly on the side handles. Coincidence?
You will also need at least 950mm of strong elastic cord and one toggle.
First cut the middle of the PC18 back piece and keep the edges. Otherwise the hook will catch dirt and everything else that gets into contact with it.
It is best to measure the cut on the frontpanels back piece first and then cut 5mm more on each side to make sure the loop stays put on the hook side of the frontpanel.
I burned the edges of the back piece to keep it from unravelling and also used the sewing machine to sew around the edges. Sewing is optional.
Once the panel is set you just put it at the side of the bag and use the G-hooks, cord and toggle to fix it to the bag. This will keep it in place under heavy load.
This solution will work with Keikka 50 and Keikka 80 because they are identical on the side handle pieces. I have tested in with both bags.
