Hi Gaming Careers! Thanks for all your videos helping the community (: I have a unique problem that seems to be common in the community. Basically, in OBS Studio, if Noise Supression is on, it mutes my controller clicks (which is great) but cancels out my higher pitched noises like laughs and screams. I can't seem to make it work the way I'd like with just a Noise Gate. I have a white snowball mic. Active filters include: Noise suppression, compressor, gain, limiter and noise gate and I have narrowed it down to just Noise Suppression being the issue.
I probably use the profile switcher a lot. Since being a streamer and content creator, you might need certain things for recording that you would for streaming. By a click of a button, it will have the secondary profile pop up. Have the stuff you need to record and you could even have the third option for the editor you use without having to worry about pressing the wrong button.
Here's how you can get Discord to open up on the monitor you want: 1. Move it to the window you want 2. Make sure Discord *is not* fullscreened or maximized (it should be a window) 3. Close Discord from the system tray 4. Discord should now open on the monitor you want! 5. Optionally maximize Discord after opening it, then close from the system tray and reopen to make it remember the changes
Just a heads up for any MMO players that stream, F13-F24 is actually accessible via Shift+F1 through Shift+F12 (for example, Shift+F5 is F17). So if you have those setup for anything in the game, lookout for that.

How did you get your Twitch Chat into a separate tab all by itself? All I can seem to do is pop-out the chat which does not show as its own tab and therefore I can't seem to use the Window Mover to control it. Help!
I love this! Part of my problem, is that I'm 72 but have done live satilite broadcast as both a producer, on-camera talent (especially from war zones) but all this is so new to me. I'm starting a show called DIARY OF A GONZO FILM MAKER. I'm going to be cutting to lots of "roll-in's from various movies I've made. That's the main thing I need from Elgato. I plan to use 2 of the incredible ZV E-10's and yes, I need Cam Control... will it work on Mac? I have so many questions and you're the best expert I've found.

@Mickey Grant. Little tip. When asking a youtuber a question put @then there channel name so they see it as a direct message. As you can imagine when you have 1000s of subs and 100s of comments they won't read them all. Have a great day
For any features you wish you had that you don't you can expand the power of this device (or your keyboard, desktop, etc) 1000 fold just by integrating AHK or AutoIT Scripts. Some things can be improved, example the Window Position, rather than using a delay to wait for an application before moving the window, in AutoIT its as simple as ShellExecute() or Run() to open the application and then waiting with If ProcessExists() or WinWait() so it will be sub millisecond accurate without any raw delays, then you can add in error correction to close the process and re-open it should it hang, etc. I have used Automation like this for years, even when I was on the dev team for XSplit, and I just use keyboard hotkey combos or GUI's but I think I'll finally get one of these just for the pretty buttons lol. If you do not have the Twitch API ping yet, that can be something I look into making once I get mine.

I just got a Stream Deck and am having issues with errors. I set up keys to send out NightBot commands to my chat when live on RU-vid but these only work a couple times before i get the yellow error screen on my buttons. Wondering if Stream Deck is blocking these thinking it's spamming?
Looks great and advanced enough to me. Have you done a similar video for Loupedeck Live and preferably on the MACINTOSH platform? I bet that would be a bit more complex.

Great video. Thanks for the tips. I’m new to the Stream Deck, but I’m loving it for productivity. When I look for Windows Mover, it’s not showing up in my native store app. When I search for it in my internet browser I can find it, but it won’t download on my Deck. Any tips for what might be the issue? Thanks in advance.
I have a GoXLR and find that rather than switching audio devices between speakers and microphone I just use the line out on the GoXLR to my speakers and have a dedicated fader for both headphones and microphone. I usually have one muted and exclusively use GoXLR to control everything. I had the setup with StreamDeck previously with Audio Switcher but find this new approach much simpler and even quicker.
Worse gadget I’ve ever owned. I have the mini and original size. Barely ever works. Have to unplug from usb almost every time I use them. Great concept. if it was dependable
This is super helpful , means I'll actually have to stop procrastinating and actually start streaming again , because this sorts out one of my biggest problems , the arrangements of windows on my second monitor with the push of a button!
he flashback recording doesn't work while OBS is open.. It does not capture the cam feed casue it's being used by obs. Any suggestions on how to get around this problem?

In your video, you get it all set but I couldn't see what the title was of the app name :-(. Can anyone help?
I keep trying to get that windows mover plugin to work, but for whatever reason it simply doesn't with my setup. No matter what I do, it sends my application windows to the wrong monitor, wrong size, off screen, anywhere except where I told it to put them.
Thanks for the super video! I am trying to resize my open Winword window but no matter what coordinates & resize height and width coordinates I choose, it ignores them and just opens my Word document in the postiion and size that I last had any word document open. Can you please advise what I need to do to fix this? Thanks a lot! 🙏🙏
Sadly if you use 2 cameras that are the same like c920,it doesn't allow you to set 2 differents buttons for each one of them.You put the ligth or anything on camera 1,add a new button to set camera 2 settings and when you add brigthness or anything nothing happen,when you go back and see the first camera you can see that it changed the settings but only for the first camera.Go back to camera 2 after set camera 1 settings again,you choose c920 camera 2 because you will see 2 names that are the same c920,select the one you want to set for camera 2,then try to select camera 2 again and you see that it didn't choose the second one it's set on camera 1 as selected,so,just to resume it doesn0t allow you to set 2 cameras,only 1.
Can a "Multi-Action" activate a button? Let's say you have Button_A that does five things, and Button_B that does a different set of things. Can you have a Multi-Action assigned to Button_C that simply calls Button_A, then Button_B? This way, if you have to modify what Button_A does, then you only have to change it in one place, rather than try to remember all the different buttons that you may have set up to do a particular action.
anybody know the names of the twitch chat and twitch activity feed in the window mover tool for adding multi actions along with general obs opening? can't find them listed under app name! SOS
Awesome video, thank you for the tips! Regarding audio switcher, I've noticed when I switch it not all programs seem to follow suit, with some audio coming out of my speakers. Would I need to toggle between the two in each program or is there something I'm missing?
Heyo! Very confused with the opening and arranging applications. Wanting to move them onto my vertical monitor, press get current coordinates and then when I press the button all the windows goes off screen? If anyone got any ideas to why this is happening I'd be grateful for tips. Cheers!
I tried that Audio Switcher plugin, but it cannot seem to set the Voicemod Input as a default device. I think the issue might be with Voicemod though, as another plugin also won't set it correctly.

Audio routing does not work if switching between a bluetooth headset and speakers. No matter how much I have tried to get it working, it just does not work.

Dear, I would like to use the stream deck to do presentations via a beamer. Pressing the button should then display or play the underlying photo or video full screen. if I now open a photo and I press the button 10 times then there are 10 screens above each other with the photo, a press on the button should first close all open windows and at the same time start the new photo/video. like some kind of video jukebox. is this possible if so how or with which plugin, if not could this be added, because I see many applications in it. thanks in advance
This is an extremely cool video for ideas of what to do for ur stream but I'm an idiot when it comes to files sending and setting up stuff from apps and u were so quick I have no idea how to do have the stuff u did in this video lol. Anyone know where I can go to help set the stuff up so my files and stuff don't get screwed lol like the death counter part looked so easy but I was like uhhhhh.... lol I'm so new to this stuff
So, I added the Twitch tools, pushed the stream I wanted to host, and it didn't host them. Can you help? it just pulled their stream up in a different internet browser.
I really want to get Window Resizer working but my chat is in a sub window for RU-vid chat. For the life of me I can't figure out how to get it to see/resize this window. Basically the pop out has a different name each time and I can't get it to work with the new pop out window.
RU-vid Streamer here as well, it's a giant pain in the bum... I've never been able to get it to work because of the same reasons you've described. StreamLabs OBS has a chat dock that at least shows you chat and OBS 27.1 which is in beta and releasing soon will offer the same level of functionality as SLOBS, but because of the way that RU-vid handles streams and authentication, I think we're not going to see any deep integration anytime soon.
the raiding hosting one kinda sucks. it creates a profile which can't have a profile switcher on it. so you get stuck and have to use the app to get back to the other profiles
Try running Stream Deck software as admin ? Or reinstall a clean version of OBS and Steam Deck. Otherwise, be very cautious, sometimes you might have chosen a wrong .exe file to launch the OBS app or even wrong "App name" for the resizing as sometimes it can reset by itself
@@Bolnosaur Kinda like a reverse of what streamdeck does, sounds silly. So instead of pushing the streamdeck button to activate the timer I want to do it from keyboard or a mouse keybind. So I need the visual timer to activate on the streamdeck but without having to move my hands off kb+m mid-stream or game.
@@FM.Sandels Maybe you could setup a hotkey directly in OBS to active your timer source, link it to your streamdeck button with the same hotkey, and it might activate both when you press your keyboard hotkey ? But I don't really get why you would want a timer on yoru streamdeck if you are using it on your keyboard... it's going to show in OBS anyway
@@Bolnosaur It's not only about the timer, if I could bind the streamdeck actions to say, spacebar it'd be so much easier to press while I'm playing guitar for example, even with a foot or something :D Just for creativitys sake it'd be awesome and make fast transitions/effects easier on intense fast paced games. Thanks for the replies though I'll try to figure something out your suggestions might work for something.
TIL I need a bigger Streamdeck. 6 buttons isn't going to cut it. Maybe I should've taken a cue from the guy in front of me who was upgrading from the Mini to the XL.
