hi Emma what's up....your videos are really good. our vacations have started because of corona and in these vacation I'll make my English Super...by watching your videos
Hi Emma, I am an English teacher from Colombia las your educacional vídeos help me a lot with my classes. I am a private teacher for adults. Thank you. Example for very bad might be...it sucks, lol.
This sincere teacher's selfless struggle to teach English will be very effective for people like me, who are handicapped in English language. I am extremely obliged and thankful for her wisdom and humility.
Since months I had been struggling to improve my Spoken English , but when I found Emma I was overjoyed as her lessons are so Interactive and Captivating. Her way of speaking is just awesome!! Thank you so much Gorgeous Emma!!
I love that you are so attentive to details and nuances. You could become a great lawyer but as a teacher you can make a greater impact. Love you lessons and your energy. Thank you
Hi ,I am Mayandi from Sri Lanka .I am 12 .I 'm quite an excellent English speaker my self but I am looking for more ways to improve and your channel has been a fantastic support for me .Thank you Emma😘
I feel so awful about myself that I keep procrastinating learning new skills. But, your excellent lessons have made a gigantic impact to brush up my English. I have started to take minimal steps so that I can be consistent in the long run. You are an awesome teacher !! I want to keep learning and don't want to feel dejected being lazy.
@@sumiTRAVELogs What are you even talking about? Ms. Prajna Paramita did quite well. It seems you don't understand English that well, Sumi. You had poor punctuation skills, and you didn't even spell out your words. Learn how to properly use commas and periods. You even got her name incorrect and it was already given! Lol. Just because you're Bengali, doesn't mean you get to change the spelling of a person's name who may (or may not) be from another region or culture. How obnoxious! (General knowledge: Indian languages are interconnected, the same words may manifest in another culture/region slightly differently in writing and speech. That's a whole different lesson.) Don't go around acting like a teacher and misleading others. There is absolutely nothing wrong with saying 'gigantic impact', native speakers do it casually all the time. What she said is perfectly all right. She clearly seemed enthusiastic about what she's learning as she used the words she learned in her sentences effectively. That's a sign of a great student. Ms. Prajna Paramita, you're doing an excellent job, keep going! Sumi, if she and you were to go to an English speaking country, she would sound much more natural compared to you. I've seen too many Indians put others down for speaking English, especially when they don't even do it that well themselves. These silly people even have RU-vid channels where they try to make themselves look better than others. Sometimes, new learners are gullible, they can be easily scolded and become disheartened. Toxic people take advantage of that. It's the narcissistic holier-than-thou or superiority complex. It's obnoxious and hilarious. Let me say this in Bengali as a "bong" who grew up in the U.S.: Nije ondho hoye onyo-ke poth dekhate jabenna, eta apnar oshikhya'r lokhhon. Meaning: Don't try to guide others when you're blinded by ignorance and cannot see where you're heading yourself.
@@Ishani933 oh dear, I am amazed that you could find my response after almost a year! For your kind information, I have been a Cambridge CELTA certified EFL Teacher. English might be native in the US but for sure not the way it is in the UK; also a name is a proper noun so Pooja can be Puja too, and many ppl write Pragya instead of Pragna. Anyway, stay well !
She looks dissapointed because she wasn't passed her exam. She was terrible with her studying, that's why she ask her friend to teach her with it. And finally she could passed her exam with a best final result and grade, so she looks overjoy after that. OMG miss emma it's eassy to learn with u, i'm so thankfully with all of your videos😄😄
Very nice= pleasant, congenial Very boring= tedious, uninteresting, mind-numbing very fast= swift, rapid Thank you Emma. I found this video informative.
My stock of vocabulary words is limited. I am trying to increase it through my favorite Teacher EMMA'S amazing vocabulary lesson. Her pronunciation is clear and better to understand, and her style of sounding the word mmmEnglish brings JOY to us. We are with MMMENGLISH. We LOVE this language.
It is marvellous/exceptional/excellent idea to get access to this new words. I was overjoyed/elated/thrilled to learn new vocabulary. By the way, the weather is atrocious in my city and I am disappointed/devastated/dejected of it. It is awful/horrible/terrible/dreadful/atrocious to go outside in raining days because everything you see around is filthy. But my cozy room is spotless/immaculate.The mountain near my house is huge/massive/enormous/gigantic/montrous.There lives a lady next to my house who is stunning/elegant/beautifu/exquisite.For me, I am hideous/grotesque.
I’m so shocked how you are able to surprise me each time with useful video. I celebrate with you the first million subscriptions and I’m still here to watch you. I moved from A1 to B2+ level and now I’m attending C1, just for passion and thanks to your motivation. Thanks Emma
Love your delivery. It’s so sincere and natural, not gimmicky like some of the others I’ve watched. I learnt a great deal from your videos. Thank you! :D
I speak English as my first language. This idea about overuse of "very" occured to me recently, so thank you for confirming this idea. Becoming better as a writer began years ago when I stopped using "always" and "never" as a substitute for better words. Instead, I try to use words like "often" or "rarely". Very is a good word. But it can be over used. This is an excellent lesson for English and non-English speaking people.
When I was told that I failed my CDL final test I was so dejected and disapointed. Now I'm learning how to up great my english skill level, than I am so excited to found miss Emma the most wondeful english teacher.
Hi Emma! I fell in love with your channel when I first saw one of your videos a long time ago. I am learning every day thanks to them and I appreciate your effort, which helps us much more than you imagine. Good work, teacher. I will continue to learn from you. Very nice = enjoyable, gratifying, delightful Very boring = dull, tiresome, tedious Very fast = speedy, fleet-footed
Exceptional lesson. I'm thrilled to have come across your video. There's an enormous bunch of words that I would love to learn. A huge thank you. You are brilliant and stunning 😃
Amazing and interesting lesson about how to avoid "very" and use other words. I appreciate your efforts and know the many other alternative with your lesson. Very bad alternatives: 1. Disgraceful. 2. Pitiful. 3. Rubbish. 4. Poor. 5. Deplorable. Thanks and regards.
Exceptionally good lesson I ever learned from . I’m not a native speaker, but listen from your chanel make my English skills much better . You’re so marvelous & keep up your good work . So thank you so so so very much .
Hello Emma again! The moment where you uploaded the video, I have taken a stroll around the park to get some fresh air. But I’m dying for watching your English lessons more than other my routines. Then firstly I’m on a bench and watching this incredible video.❤️
@@mmmEnglish_Emma yep! The explanation was really something ‘n’ the weather was picture perfect to listen to you. Thank you very much kind words of you.❤️
"My English dramatically improved SINCE i joined your youtube channel." "My English has improved" is present perfect tense (it's an action that continues into the present).
You are an amazing and highly skilled English teacher mam. I feel like I am learning more English through your videos than I did from my entire school and college life. I love the way how you pronounce just any words uniquely. IT SOUNDS PURELY NATURAL. God bless you mam and stay as energetic as you are.
Hello Emma, this lesson is phenomenal. Love you 💞 but I have a small request, I don't know if this is appropriate to ask but I feel like I do instead of making the same mistakes over and over😅. If you could give a lesson on linking words and how it effects the logical flow of the sentence making it more readable, it will do a great help for me. Thanking you in advance 🙏
I never get fade up of your classes Miss Emma. I learn new content whenever I pay attention. You're doing a life changing job. I am overjoyed. Thank you so much 💖
it is a fantastic and splendid lesson where you have the opportunities to use, for the some situation, differents words that allow you to emprove your english. Excellent!!!
Thank you for this extremely helpful video and I realise that it's an old one; however, I want to mention that I've often held back on using stronger words instead of very, or even really, because it can seem like I'm exaggerating! I have been accused of being dramatic by a person, who used to correct and criticise me regularly, yet it was okay for her to do whatever. I'm pleased that I have your "permission" to use other words when necessary and it doesn't mean that I'm overdoing it at all. 😊
ADORABLE teacher, the splendid skills that you had been showing through out the presentation added lots of thrilled impressions to our lives.god bless you
I really enjoyed this lesson. You've such brilliant ways of explaining which better words to include our vocabulary and how to use them in our casual conversations. It's fantastic 😊👌. Other alternatives of "very good" : brilliant, epic. Other alternative of "very bad" : hectic.
This channel is awesome. It has been helping me so much with vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar. finally, she speaks clearly as well I can understand 70% I guess, even i have a poor level in English.
Hi miss emma, being your loyal student and subscriber, i would like to take a chance to appreciate your all kind and glorious efforts to guide public amazingly the English tenses, pronunciations and vocabulary. Respect from Dubai, let me have opportunity to meet you if you visit dubai some day. GOD bless you and your family always. Amen
Today I am watching your video and I am overjoyed to see you. Day by day when I see my progress of English vocabulary I feel thrilled. My family also elated to see my interest about my progress. I can't express any word how much ecstatic I am? Previously I was heartbroken because I don't know that much English. When my friends post any status in Facebook in English then I am disappointed to comments there post. Even though when my foreigner friends grossing any topic I looked dejected. They always asked me why I looked devastated? That time I ashamed to tell about my problem. May be they think that I am melancholy because I am far from my country. I always posted crestfallen status.
hỉ cần Đức Phúc hát ballad thì dù buồn hay vui ĐP cũng truyền tải cảm xúc của bài hát rất tốt. Bài buồn thì nghe đúng kiểu tự sự, đau khổ, nghe là muốn khóc. Còn bài vui thì lại nhẹ nhàng, ấm áp, chân thành nghe là muốn yêu❤️
My mother seemed downcast when she started attending therapy, she wasn't particularly thrilled about the idea. During the last weeks, however, she has gotten used to the experience of counseling and she's showing major improvements. This makes me feel hopeful about her recovery.
Awesome. I m exhilarated to see this video. It's truly annoying to speak very always. I was terrible in vocabulary but with your videos I have improved my vocabulary remarkably. thank you mam . Lots of love Ans of extra homework.... Amazing Dull Agile
Hi Teacher!!! This is an amazing lesson. Quite useful to enrich vocabulary!!! It was an exquisite English sound!!! In my country we use wingsfallen instead of crestfallen, and atrocious is mostly used to describe cruel acts. Also when someone is very hungry, he says my hunger is atrocious. Marvelous lesson!!! It's worth to copy all of these words and study them.
Wonderful video, Emma. You are an excellent presenter and narrator. Love your accent and your lessons are interesting, educational and engaging. Really well done! ...and, you have a beautiful smile. ...and, you're beautiful! ☺
At first my English was terrible but when I started watching these videos my English was impressive and improving my my was so joyful and proud thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Emma, Thanks for the fantastis lesson. I would like to try out the adjectives as follows. Very Happy- 1. She was thrilled when she finally finished up all the school assignments given for this Christmas holidays. 2. He looked elated because the cabbage seeds were sprouting nicely. 3. Henry was ecstatic when his mother allowed him to stay back for sleepover with us which we had not done for awhile and the last one we had was marvelous. Very sad - 1. When her cute little puppy was dead of overeating, she was devastated and heartbroken. 2. When the computer battery went flat and the screen turned blackout instantly before she managed to save the work she had been preparing the whole morning, she was devastated. The prospect of rewriting the whole story again was dreadful and she felt crestfallen. Very bad - 1. The dinner meal she prepared tonight was disgusting. It tasted awful and made me want to vomit. 2. His new boss is atrocious and not many would stand his appalling temper. Very big - 1. That is an enormous cake and can easily last us for a few days. I think we should consider the one on the left which is perfect size for the party tonight. 2. The house she lives in now is massive. There are five large bedrooms and each has attached bathrooms with sophistacated zakusi. She must be expecting a huge family after her wedding. Very pretty 1. Even though the dress is not from famous designer but more importantly, you look elegant and exquite in it. Very ugly 1. Sometimes the busy hairstyle may make us look hideous. I like it clean cut and neat. 2. The huge grotesque iron gate reminds me of the abandoned haunted house the other day we passed by.
I've just discovered your channel and I think you are a marvellous English teacher. I'm very thankful for your lessons. I've been stuck with the level I'm at for quite a while. I can now see the potential for improvement by taking your lessons. Is there any way I can reward you for your work?
I just came accidentally across your classes, starting with Australian slang, which was quite educating. Then popped up your lesson on conversations - I liked that too. Next was the lesson on adjectives - it was lovely. Afterwards I decided to subscribe. Now, I will visit your channel more often - you are excellent. English is not my first language therefore I am eager to learn more. Thank you.
It’s my first time to listen to your lessons and I’m overjoyed please give us morel lessons . I realised we do make a lot of mistakes when we speak please keep it up. Thank you God bless.

Hi, Emma, this video is epic. I can't thank you enough for your valuable work. Furthermore, your lessons are a cut above the rest and, in these difficult times, to say the least, they help us to bite the bullet and give us a new lease of life.
I don’t know how you can have so many facial expressions to match each word, you can demonstrate the slightest difference just by your expression. So lively and amazing 😂
Wow ! What a Marvellous Lesson is here ? I'm ecstatic to give special gratitude to you Mrs Emma . definitely I'm overjoyed to get a new vocabularies in this exceptional lesson. it's enormous opportunity to those struggling who use a single word Continously in many times In their Statements. upgrading your words make you perfect your speaking skills in any language you wanna to improve.
I was waiting for guests yesterday. But they couldn't come. I was so disappointed. I met my dear old friend last week. I was overjoyed for the talking with him! As long as you pass your exam you will feel elated.

I'm really confused to choose just an accent Every month i jump into a new accent that the actor of the movie or the serie i have been watching has 😂so, can you make a video or give me some advice How to choose an accent.... Your Somali guy says hi again 👋😂
Me too, I started with the "American accent" then, I saw Emma videos and tried to learn the "Aussie accent", and yesterday I watched a *Millie Bobby Brown* video and I'm trying to get a British accent 👁️👄👁️
@@kailxxx1468 same here after watching enola.holmes i want to get british accent but its hard because i have only learned american accent from the beginnig i study english
@@munkhgerelnasanbuyan3910 Don't worry so much about the accent. If you're able to get your meaning across in English, you can be well chuffed. There are loads of different pronunciations, and yours is one of them.
I adore your channel. I honestly do. You've got a knack for teaching English to foreigners! You're an excellent teacher! I take my hat off to you, Emma! :) Greetings from Italy! :) Gabriele
