Upgraded Avata 1 vs. Avata 2 - with Michael Wright

Mike and I tested out the upgraded Axis Flying Avata 1 vs. the new Avata 2. Couldn't do a full test with manual mode on the avata 2, but we had a blast. We also were able to fly the Air 3 with the goggles 3 and the motion 3...very cool to see that operation. Enjoy a couple buddies hanging out and flying together.

Great meetup (with Mike Wright) and comparison between the Avata 1 and the new Avata 2. Even with the upgraded motors on Joe's A1, the improved camera quality you get with the A2 makes it the clear choice for me. Especially for someone like me that only flies normal and sport modes. I really enjoyed seeing you guys fly your drones, thanks for sharing.

Heck yeah, Ron! Thanks for watching and for the input! Mike and I had a blast! It's definitely an upgrade with nearly everything on the A2, for sure. But one thing, for someone as crazy as me, I like the A1 for its ease of repairability. It's like 11 screws and it's down to nothing. That's what great about the whole avata line thus far. Either one can be a great tool in anyone's bag!

Thanks for popping in Alex!! I think my old cannon t6i has a timer. 1080/30fps is the highest setting, so no overheating. Idk, time for a new one perhaps?

What’s up, Joe? I really like this style of video from you. You should do more Vlogstyle. In my opinion you know great flying I’m trying to get used to the Avada one but nothing compares to good old carbon. I’m building the grind Reno this week. I’ll let you know how it goes.
