Love Saratoga. Usually stay at Congress, very short walk to Springs and the pools very quiet. Mostly adults and retirees who hang out with coolers and food. It's like your own patio pool! Great work with the video.

Thank you Joseph love the smaller pools. It definitely is a great thing to pack a cooler and hang out at the pool. Makes a great day and a better trip to take a break from the business of the parks. As i mentioned with other comments, Saratoga looks really nice after the remodel. Really puts Saratoga on the map. Such a unique resort with the boat, walking path and golf course. Saratoga is one of our favorite resorts. Really nice room! But that was a tough check-in experience for sure. Hoping the Cast Members made that right for y’all since that was certainly less than ideal start of your trip.

I haven’t actually stayed at Saratoga yet! But I do want to stay there someday. Wow that’s a rough check in, double booking is no fun 😢 nice that they upgraded you though!! Oh no then maintenance. Great tour of the room though. Nice and spacious, love the full kitchen. I really like those dressers. Nice bedroom. Fantastic video as always! 😊

interesting, Saratoga is our home resort for our three families that use it. Luckily, we have never had an experience like that between all of us and we go down 5+ times a year, each. My suggestion is always as for Paddock! its the best place. Can walk to the springs and honestly a better pool than the main area.

Thanks for watching Gary. Appreciate that. Totally agree, ours to, really never experienced this anywhere on Disney property. I usually get upset if our checkin goes past 4. I wish I recorded the mishap but the other couple was a sweet old couple. We wanted them taken care of first. The other thing I didn’t mention is they moved us down two buildings. All issues aside we love the renovation and really enjoy staying at Saratoga now for all those reasons. We love paddock and we love the pool etc,

Nice looking room. Sorry they double booked. How strange is that. I don't think I have heard of Disney double booking before. I have also noticed the All Star Movies and Port Orleans Riverside both had Cuisinart coffee makers on my last two visits. I wonder if Disney is trying to get away from Keurig. Thanks for showing us around your Saratoga Springs villa. Have a good day dude!

I definitely don’t get it because most hotels these days have a Keurig and it’s easy and convenient and for some reason maybe it’s a deal with Joffrey that’s keeping them from getting it in all the rooms. I dont mind the old fashioned drip though

Oh my goodness, so sorry to hear what happened, we've never been double-booked at Disney, but glad they upgraded you, we love the 1-bedrooms there! We're staying there in 3 weeks, what building were you in that they were doing maintenance? Hope you have a great week!

We were in the Paddock building next to the pool splash area. Love that area. Great pool location and easy to leave SSR. The renovations are so nice. It was very strange but the trip had those vibes. Thanks for watching.

That’s not a farmhouse sink. You were upgraded to a one bedroom from a studio but you say you are still going to complain. Omg. Rooms are ready AFTER 4pm. They don’t “double book” there could have been a maintenance issue.

Thanks for your comment,you’re probably right about the sink, however I was double booked i was standing outside our first room and a lovely older couple were also going to the same room when my cell phone rang and guest services manager called me and apologized for double booking me and they made it right by upgrading us to a one bedroom. Then when we got to the room maintenance man was on his phone talking to his friend and he said he was “fixing” the outlet except he didn’t have any tools. But i appreciate you trying to clarify my experience. In the end Disney apologized and we enjoyed our stay but never in all the years have I experienced the awkwardness of standing in a hallway trying to check in with someone else saying thats my room. Also having to lug all our luggage back to the car and move buildings Very awkward! Have a great day.
